Canvio Aeromobile RAW photo support
Hello
Just bought a Canvio Aeromobile backup photos from my camera when traveling.
I thought that the interesting possibility is that he built in the SD card reader so I can backup without using my laptop. Unfortunately, it seems that the Canvio does not support RAW but only JPEG files.
I have been looking online and found reference to a new update of the firmware that provides this feature.
Apparently, the version I need is 2.000.200, but I 2.000.184.
The support document that I found is on the support site of the Middle East:
http://www.toshibamea.com/en/wireles...age-AeroMobile
Toshiba UK support told me that this version of firmware is not available in the United Kingdom.
When I use the iOS app or my web browser to inquire online I get the message "no firmware not detected" as I am in the United Kingdom.
My question is - is there a way to do it manually?
With my browser really makes me want to navigate to a file of the firmware on my computer as if I had already downloaded.
Its all very curious.
Hello
I found this document.
How can I get or check the latest version of the firmware for my Canvio AeroMobile Wireless SSD?
http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/SPD4B03O30001R01.htm
There, you can find this info:
To receive updates firmware for your Canvio AeroMobile, please activate the WiFi 'Bridge Mode' in the settings menu. If a new firmware update is available, you will be prompted to download and install the upgrade.
and here you can find info how to set the "Bridge mode" option, to provide access to your devices while they are linked to your Wireless SSD AeroMobile Canvio?

Extensions for Photos for Mac; can convert RAW Photos?
Downloaded "2016 creative Kit" on the site of macphun fairly recently so don't always do not have much with CK apps. I like the clean interface of Snapheal and intensify and had a go using these with the opening and Photos: the process is smoother with Photos; with Aperture, retouching a given photo tends to take more time to commute between a software for the back and other feels a bit 'hectic' (a closing and another opening, with the visible screen between the two...).
So I intend to spend some time at the Photos now. The question is: can you convert RAW?
Photos may develop all RAW formats supported by Mac OS X, see: Digital camera RAW formats supported by OS X El Capitan - Apple Support
For a very good RAW support, you can also try DxO Optics Pro Extension for Photos.

How to import RAW photos in El Capitan
OS X El capitan 10.11 says that he has supported level system for RAW photos, including my camera, a Canon 60 d. When I import I do not see any photos RAW, only JPG Photo Version 1.3 (350.23.0)
Digital camera RAW 6.18 (828)
Digital Camera Support RAW 6180 (204)
If you shoot JPEG and RAW (something that I can see no sense at all since it wastes a lot of space for no advantage) pictures battery both displaying the JPEG by default - if you want the RAW format, then in the menu image select editing mode use RAW as the original

I called Apple support about the Preview app problem that it has not been able to help me... I use a 2 month old computer... (I have photo editing) and this computer turn into nightmare... Why my iMac 2011 run like a Ferrari?
When I open a single RAW photo with a preview application (canon 5dmarkII 21mp) takes wild for the photo to take a shape .but I could treat this...
the problem starts when I put (same problem 10) or photos (issue 30same) takes about 4 seconds for the photo to take a shape and when I click to the next photo
I'm a beach ball, then my fan started going a hundred miles an hour... and then becomes unusable... I use Lightroom5 (update of course) and it is another nightmare I don't get the possibility to use different programs on this computer, so I can't say anything else.
certainly I'm losing trust in the product of Apple and the sad, it's you who hear people more often... .my point is I spent $2 600 on this computer and that computer performance is a bit better than my laptop $ 250
5 Lightroom is not compatible to El Capitan. It is more than three years.

This is because the codec does not yet support your camera according to the http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=26829

I downloaded the trial of lightroom version, and my raw photos look like blue screen when I try to develop. I can view them in the library, but not develop... I assume this has something to do with camera raw, but I have no idea how to solve. If anyone can help?
I'll tell you the information that I found on the web:
-In the list of supported cameras, it says I need - like version minimum - 5.4 of Camera Raw plugin and at least 2.4 version of lightroom.

Question:
I use Photoshop CS5 version 12.1. Photos I take in Camera Raw with my Canon 60 d are visible and can be worked, but those taken with my Canon 70 d are not. What can I do to be able to view and work on Camera Raw photos taken with both cameras? Y at - it a plug-in that I can use that will allow me to display and work on photos of 70 d and my photos of the 60 d? Helpful suggestions are appreciated.
The 70 d has not supported until the Camera Raw version 8.2:
Devices supported by Adobe Camera Raw
PS Camera Raw versions of CS5 ended with 6.7:
Camera Raw plugin and Adobe application compatibility
You have two options: upgrade to at least Photoshop CC or CS6 or get the free DNG Converter to convert your RAWs 70 d DNG for use in CS5. The last option will always require an additional step.

Hi, my camera is a nikon d 5300. Lightroom is 5.7.1. Lightroom cann not read or develop the photographs that are taken in raw. If I try to import raw photos - there is the error report that lightroom does not know this kind of raw format. My computer is 1 year (Win 7 HP). Who could help me?
Eugen
DJ, the version number is in the subject line: 5.7.1. It's weird because this version should support the D5300 very well. My main guess would be a bad player or a bad USB cable.
Eugen, you can try plug the camera directly and download the images like this?

I am trying to open raw photos and it does not work I have 6 suites and photos taken on a Canon EOS Rebel SL1 creative
Hi irod,.
Greetings.
- Latest version of camera raw for CS 6 is 9.1
- Check now if your camera is to 9.1 or higher
- If requires 9.2 or later, then you should switch to PS CC or use the dng converter
- But if it is support less 9.1 then use this link to install camera aw 9.1 and then try to open pictures
- If still you have questions then please paste a screenshot of the issue in more detail.
