Whenever I am playing a DVD, any DVD playing software that I use (Windows Media Player, Real Player, PowerDVD), the DVD plays fine until I move my mouse... then the computer freezes immediately. CTRL + ALT + DEL doesn't work. I have to use the power button to turn off the computer.
I updated the DVD drive device driver; still crashes.

Suddenly my new Satellite Pro A300 does not start correctly when you press the power button. The situation is the following: when I press the power button is displayed the opening of Toshiba (Leading Innovation) and the disappers image quickly. Then there is a black screen for about 30 seconds. There is a rectangular frame with the text Microsoft Corporation under. And nothing happens however long wait.
In order to get with the trial starting I then shut down the computer by pressing the power button until the computer turns off. ("The hard way to close")
Now, I press the power button shortly to turn on the computer. Then, the computer starts normally with the photo to open Toshiba and after a few seconds, I wonder to open the computer in safe mode or in normal mode. I now choose to open in normal mode and the computer opens normally and is ready to work.
What should I do to get a normal departure procedure?
When the laptop starts normally (after choosing normal mode) stop your laptop properly using START > shut down option. Next launch should be normal.
When the OS is moving towards the low irregularly will always ask you how to start this new (secure or normal mode).
The same thing happen on my Satellite A300.
My work has recently retired this t410 server. It worked without any problems when he was arrested. I had to remove and destroy the hard drives from the system. After that, I was allowed to bring home for my own use. I installed a new sata drive and plugged into the power supply and a free sata port on the motherboard. I get nothing when I tried to boot the system. This version has the unique power. Power light only lights up when you press the test button. System fan is going at full speed, but stops when you release the power button. Also on the control panel lights 1,2 and 4 and HDD power on and turn until the test button is released. There is a single green light lit on the motherboard, while it is plugged. Apart from that, I have no response when you press the main power button. Can anyone tell how to try to get it up and running again.
I have not received the answers more so I think that this issue is ignored. So I'll let everyone know what finally happened. I solved my problem after a lot of electrical testing. I found a diagram of the arrangement of the power dell power supply pins and I made myself the best possible meter test. After several rounds of tests, I found several pins that did not have the right voltage. I bought a new power supply. I installed and replace everything. I plugged into the system and it auto fed on itself. I loaded from an OS and it works perfectly.
Have HP Pavilion laptop dv2500, p/n kn997ua #aba, does not illuminate. When you connect the power supply blinks blue.
Now you can take the laptop at best buy or Wal-Mart and get them to plug a power cord. This will give you an idea if you need to buy a power cord or not.
Again, you can always buy the power supply cord and if it does not return.
This is after you have inserted a card high capacity in the player, which hung the memory slot. Now just insert a regular memory card, the dialog box appears, but there is nothing in it.
Sorry if the info seems confused but maybe the
answer is here somewhere.
FWIW... There used a similar problem with a Sony memory
Stick... the solution is to insert the stick into the drive and
Restart the computer... somehow this would reset the
stick. I don't know if it will work for you.
You may also check your AutoPlay settings...
If you insert the card and go to... Start / my computer...
and right-click on the drive letter for the location of in the map is...
choose... Properties / AutoPlay tab...
Choose... Mixed content...
Tick... Select an action to perform
On the left, click on the default button / apply / OK.
Give it a try...
It is possible that your media player is not compatible
with the SDHC technology. The best is maybe to buy
an external drive that is compatible SDHC or download

Regarding the card... have regular SD, you tried to manually
Download the pictures?
If you connect the device to your PC via a USB cable, turn
on the camera... then go to... Start / my computer... it may be

If_yes_right click on the drive letter and select... Explorer or

You can copy and paste or drag and drop the files from there to a
folder on your hard drive.
(The same steps work if you have a media player...
When you go to... Start / computer... the media slots

When I insert an SD card into my computer, I get a message that says f:\ that this file does not have a program associated with it... I know I can set default programs with the types of files in the Control Panel, but how do you recognize what to do when I insert an SD card in the computer?
The problem is caused by the automatic game changing options, this can sometimes happen when you install a new program, but they can easily be changed back. Click 'start' at the bottom left, go into "default programs" on the right side of the list (under computer / doc/images etc.) select "Change AutoPlay settings.
You will find prob some of the sections had the new auto run program, just edit those you want (or all) "ask me every time", you will find that when you insert an sd card, you get the options normal download, copy, etc. as usual.
I have a new computer laptop toshiba satellite M40x-183. (with DVD super multi)
After ten days of buying it, I found a problem when playing some DVD and CD, when I insert the dvd I got a blue screen saying... There is an error and windows can stop harmful to your pc and I have to contact the support then start dumping from 100% to 0%...
I have tried the dvd in many other dvd players and it works perfectly. Team support here told me that this type of dvd player are unable to process this format how it happens so that older toshiba and other laptop brands can do!
Is there a solution to this?
Well, as the support service team say that the DVD player is not able to read this format.
But I can't give you a good answer why it s not possible to play this DVD. It s a simple fact that there are many DVD and CD formats on the market and number of readers is not able to play some formats.
Have you tried to play burn DVDs? I recommend you to test the DVD from other manufacturers. I use TDKs and it works correctly.
My SD card is good and I can access images using my computer to start up. I can also see my saved photo gallary pictures. What I can't do, is when I insert the SD card and select images I get the above error message. Help.
I would say that you have two choices,
Photo Gallery of windows open before inserting the sd card,
Then click on import, then insert the sd card.
Or you can click on the Start button and click computer.
Insert the sd card,
He appears as a removable disk that you can right click and click Open,
Then manually, copy and paste the files in a folder or an existing one,
Do not use auto play close the dialog box or use the Windows Explorer instead.
Oops, that's three choice :)

What is the structure of your database? and this code that you write?
don't tell that you don't know how write the SQL query :)
Thank you for your quick response
I can write the SQL query
I use these lines:
WHERE Product_ID =: Product_ID;
IF: quantity > Quantity_on_hand THEN
MESSAGE ("the inventory is not enough");
Why do you think I can't write same SQL query?
Thank you Bailey
The query is bad :) there is no INTO clause
Write it on quantity WHEN-VALIDATE-ITEM and KEY-NEXT-ITEM
declare vquantity number; begin SELECT quantity_on_hand into vquantity FROM INVENTORIES WHERE Product_ID = :Product_ID; IF :quantity > vquantity THEN MESSAGE ('the inventory is not enough'); raise form_trigger_failure; else null; -- or next_item if you are using KEY NEXT ITEM trigger END IF; Exception when no_data_found then message('Invalid product ID'); raise form_trigger_failure; END;
I have a dell latitude E6500... problems with blue screen when I unplug the laptop. his past about 5 out of 10 times now. Ive updated all recommended microsoft updates and it is still the case? is there a driver for xp needed to solve this problem? It only happens when I unplug the power cord and it happens as soon as I unplug
Usually, when we see problems during shutdown, the cause is something that loads at startup.
To this end, I would recommend mode startup minimum troubleshooting as seen in the following articles:
Please note that after refine us the cause, it is important that we return to a normal startup and manually delete the startup program.
In addition, if we can get downloaded discharge, the community has access to them and will probably be able to determine the cause.
You can download the dump Auggy's previous suggestion?
Let us know.
When I press the power on button it turns green for 4/5 seconds then turns off.
"I do all the tests the support on the page:
* Press on and press and hold the Fn key and press the F5 key repeatedly. If an image appears on the display, this indicates that the image has been activated to a connector for a monitor outside, causing only appear to be off the computer.
* Connect the adapter to the computer.
* Remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter and then connect only the AC adapter. Make sure that the power adapter is one that comes with the computer. Try to turn on the computer again, without the battery in the computer.
* Plug the power adapter into a different plug.
* The battery, ensure that there are enough energy to start the computer.
* Press and hold the power switch for 10 seconds (to make sure that the computer is turned off). Wait five seconds, and then tap on and again, hold the switch for three seconds (turn on the computer).
* Ensure that nothing beats (a sliding plastic cover) in the path by pressing the power switch.
* Disconnect all devices (printers, pointing devices, keyboards, etc.) connected to one of the ports on the computer.
* Remove any additional memory, beyond the computer built in memory, or the first module of memory in the computer. If the computer starts correctly, reinsert the memory and turn the computer back on. If it does not start successfully, memory can be inserted incorrectly, it may be defective or the support of memory may be damaged. "Try to replace the module memory."
