• Former quiz published in Cap 9 HTML 5 will not play on LMS

  Store us our content and update of our Captivate 8 projects in Captivate (9.0.2.421) 9.  When I publish a quiz 9 Cap that was made in the PAC 8 to HTML5 and putting it on our LMS, it never loads.  If I publish in Flash, it does not load.  If I publish a lesson that was made to Cap 9, which took in the Cap 8 and that does not include a quiz has received, in HTML5, it works.   I tried to publish captivate v9 in a swf file but comes up with blank info showing only model. Without any text to images without animation nothing...

  All I get is a white screen. I do not use a quiz, I have my own pictures of navigation so I'm not using a playback bar either. It worked up until yesterday, but not today. All I've done is added animation.

  But it seems to have stumbled across the solution. So, I had a reading before bar and them that we decided to have us nav buttons.

  because I had a previous button sitting in the footer at the beginning of each slide and its idle state came after 2.4 seconds since the beginning of the slide, all images, text, after that were not displayed. I am a user of Camtasia, but my company is now using Captivate doing a bit of cross skilling here...

• The files are missing after you download the file published to SCORM

  Hi all

  I don't know if this is a problem in Captivate 9 or SCORM. I have a few buttons to open the files. I changed the Flash security settings and added all the related files as trusted.

  When I saw in the browser, they worked. However, once I downloaded the published file (zip) to SCORM, the buttons do not work.

  I have a button to link to the specific URL, who works in SCORM. However, two buttons to link to the pdf and jpg files do not work in SCORM (but worked in the preview).

  Someone this problem? I would really appreciate if anyone can help with this problem.

  I use 9 Captivate and Mac.

  Your question can be connected with the way in which your LMS plays files. Try to download and test your SCORM, SCORM Cloud to see if it works from there.

  And another thing to check is that you have not only used the link to the file on your computer as the link.  You need to make sure that the files are loaded in the same folder as the SWF file output and set the link to them as being the file name only.  Then there should be a link that works for almost any server on the web, including most of the LMS.

• Captivate 4 - after patch, published projects don't break but skip

  Last week, I installed the patch to upgrade my version to Version 4.0.1 Build 1658.

  Once the hotfix has been installed, if I publish a file with a Table of contents, it works fine the first time.  However, the second time I run the published file, the first slide appears a fraction of a second and then it jumps to the first quiz question (if I quiz questions in the project), or to the last slide, I visited before the closing of the project.

  If I turn off the COT and republish it, I can navigate around the course, close and restart, and it behaves perfectly.

  I prefer to use the table of contents to have to manually build the keys.

  I did a search, but I have not found this problem elsewhere (does not mean he isn't here, just that I couldn't find it ).

  Any ideas about this, or do I have to submit a bug report?

  It is a problem for my company - we have a lot of people working on a sliding major Oracle, and OCD definitely saves on development time if we could use it.

  BTW, we examined the issue with projects that have been published the week before the patch was installed.  Projects with the table of contents worked correctly, and without OCD projects worked correctly.  So, it doesn't seem to be a problem with our environment.  This occurs only with files published after the hotfix has been installed and use the table of contents.  Yes, I checked the settings on the buttons and click areas to make sure that the break was always successfully configured.

• Adobe Captivate 9 will not publish my project

  Anyone has an idea why Captivate will not post my project? I get an error message when I click on "publish".

  Please show a screenshot of your error message.

  Try experimenting with a copy of your current project, hide slide groups to see if you can then publish.  If it works usually it indicates there is something on one of the hidden slides that prevented the successful publication.  Then you can narrow things down until you find the culprit.

  Ok.  By the look of your screenshots you have deleted some elements of the quiz question slides.

  Were you remove all standard legends such as the legend of title or caption Quiz, or items such as the control box?

• Quiz on a SCORM and the completion of other SCORM packages

  I think I know the answer, but just check to be sure. Is it possible (without special programming) for a quiz that took place during the somehow the other complete course (my hunch is not):

  I think if there is a custom code of the LMS, it won't be possible.

  This isn't a Captivate but a matter of LMS. I don't know that any LMS can be

  put in place, but some can.

  Hello

  I was given a Captivate file and I need to translate everything for the French. I translated everything, with the exception of a single message on the results of the quiz screen.   No, you can have only a quiz in a file. That's why the score slide "moved" to extend the scope of quiz.

  You can show the results of the first quiz, but need to create that partial score slide yourself, using system variables Quizzing. But the final score will always be the partition of all slides.   I am able to use the SWFLoader for loading a Captivate.swf, and play using the nextSlide, previousSlide etc..  However I am stuck by the quiz.

  I have access to all the symbols rd * and cp *.   I would like to navigate through all the slides, but if I have a quiz, I'm stuck in 'rdcmndGotoSlide' 'rdcmndNextSlide' or parameter passed the quiz.  Does anyone know if this is possible?  Help, please!

• Captivate 9 buttons Quiz: I can't get flipping and animations to work down.

  My buttons on the quiz pages do not show reversal or down events. The buttons work, but the user has no indication (Visual or audible) who clicked the button. It's only on quiz slides.   Hi all

  I'm having a little trouble and am unable to find a solution anywhere on the web (so far).

  Let me explain the situation:

  I created a master apron for my business and put everything in plans, good color, and all in the master apron looks perfect.

  However when I add questions to multiple choice or true/false quiz slides to a new project the alignment of the response overlap and may not be suitable.

  After that, I noticed, I went back to the master slides and tried to change alignment here before trying to add slides to a new project.

  Once again the A / B answers where superimposed and I was unable to move either to another location.

  Try to recover the box response and displacement it causes all forms and all other objects on the slide to warp out of shape, while the answer superimposed boxes remain the same.

  I solved the problem I had with the alignment of the quiz answers.

  It was with the corner radius cut response fields "cemented" in a certain placement of page layout.

  By decreasing the RADIUS response has become incorporated into the form again after box placement which in the live slides I could handle once more the placement of the response boxes.

  So if the alignment of the fixed elements is off and cannot be moved over, check the corner radius to make sure that the object that is aligned incorrectly is embedded in the form once more allowing it to be manipulated to your favorite place!
