Captivate 7 - Variables window off the screen

When you open the variable window, the window off the screen and I can't bring it back to one of my two monitors (double).  ESC comes to Captivate, but I can't seem to locate and drag the window to the return variables.  Any suggestions?

I can't reconnect to a third-party monitor (which I used to have).

I assume that you have already tried resetting the workspace, CP restarted and the system?

Try to update preferences, using the Cleanpreferences file that corresponds to your operating system, and that you will find in the Utils to the CP installation folder subfolder. ATTENTION: you will lose any customization.

  • 6.6 keynote opens the window off the screen

Since v6.6 Keynote opens a file off the screen on the first launch, I see the window at all.

I have two monitors, a my MacBook Pro (mid-2012) and the other is a 15 inch USB monitor AOC. BTW and may be connected, the driver for this monitor causes the transformation to fail when it is attached.

As I said, very good spear Keynote, but the file I want to work on is nowhere to be seen on my screen. When I hit CMD-CTRL-F (full screen), the presentation appears, and when I then hit ESC, I see the window right on the right edge of the laptop screen (see screenshot below), which allows me to put on the window and work on the file.

Of course, it's heavy, if I have to do it every time I run the application Keynote. I searched here in this forum, but I have not found anything that could help me. Does anyone here know of a fix for this strange behavior?

These screens are very useful, but they are well known pose a problem with photographic, presentation and installation of applications on the Mac.

If you can live with this poster failure very well, but if you want flawless performance, you need to use a display with HDMI, Thunderbolt, mini displayport or DVI of the Mac connection.

  • Flys window off the screen to the right

I know that something like this was posted, but the answer doesn't seem to work for me so I'll try again.  I have a window open for example internet.  When I click the icon at the bottom of the screen, all I see is a small box of shooting off the screen to the right and when I click it back again this subject comes flying to the icon.  Nothing I've done seems to back open on the screen.  I crushed my right mouse clicked and was caught and pulled, but nothing comes back on my main screen.  I stop the program and reopened it always does the same thing, I rebooted my computer.  I looked everywhere for answers and nobody seems to be able to help me.  Maybe one of you can give me some advice.  It's a very frustrating situation.

Oh my God I kept looking for an answer and found something someone said in another post on the resolution of the screen and I understand what they were saying.  I went to my office right clicked (see that I am not a guru) and chose the resolution of the screen.  I had "to extend these screens" clicked so I clicked on "show the desktop only on 1" and it then, there was my missing icon. • 10.11.4 position of the window off the screen after awakening from sleep + external display

Does anyone else have problems with windows being placed off screen when waking up their MacBook Pro from sleep mode or when using an external monitor?

I have a 15 "rMBP and regularly connect with lid closed to a Dell screen 4K P2715Q. Whenever I wake up from sleep, many of my windows are off-center and move the windows from the edge of the rightmost to the Center.

I can't say with certainty if it is specific to the application or for all windows, but Mail.app and Messages certainly do.

I will do some tests later and post updates. Thank you!

    Hello

I take this in system preferences > displays the mirror effect is on?

What resolutions are two screens to?

How to wake up the laptop from sleep?

If it is by lifting the lid is on the Mac you see it?

If it's the position carries no report available to the larger screen?  (i.e. If the laptop could match the larger screen resolution would be the 'shift' appear in the same place, as the laptop was a cut from the larger screen).

In system preferences > displays which is the screen to 'drive '?

  • pop up window off the screen (InDesign CS6)

I plugged my macbook to an additional monitor and used InDesign CS6 for a few hours, including the "object layer options" which opens in a pop-up window.

One day after work again on InDesign, the pop-up window opens now off screen: the main window is inactive, but the pop up is invisible and I can no longer use the options.

Anyone know how to reset the location of windows pop up screen?

Thanks in advance for any helpful answer!

Try resetting the workspace and trashing the prefs (may not work, but it's worth it). See replace your preferences

When you switch from Windows to the other display screens in Photoshop Photoshop close to this State Photoshop remembers where you position palette, picture windows and dialogue.  If you restart Photoshop and the other views are not available. Photoshop can open windows off the screen or partially off the screen.  At least seem be the way to a working windows.  Windows operating system provides means for moving and sizing of these windows.  Mac may also have options.

    Adobe CC 2015

2 monitors (Macbook and thunderbolt display)

When I choose the option on a work plan for "export as" a window off the screen and I am unable to put the window on my screen.

It appears "above" my screen, and I don't see that what looks like the lower part of the window. There is nothing to click on in this window that opens except a zoom interface (that I tried to see if it would help). I tried scaling my display (usually put windows on screen) and I tried to find a way to reduce/enlarge the box but there is none.

rather than reduce a window I was drag to the side of my desktop and accidentally moved completely out of sight. now when I click on the button in the task bar the only options I have are to close the window or move it. When I click on 'move' I get the four-headed arrows near the place, I moved the window off the screen. Can someone tell me please how do I move the window on the screen? Thank you very much.

Right-click on the tab of the window in the task bar and select move. Now, use the arrow keys to get to the screen. Close all other windows except this one and use the cursor to drag the message to the desired size. File | Output and Windows will remember the size and location when you open it again.
  • Half top of the extensions manager made off the screen - how to do this back in view?

I tried different approaches to solve this problem, but none helped. Some information from the environment:

    -Run OSX 10.9.1

    -use an external monitor

    • I tried to get the window to reposition themselves by disconnecting the external monitor - remains half-hidden on my laptop screen
    • I tried to play with the resolution of the screen, but he stubbornly refuses to budge
    • I also tried to turn the screen 90 degrees, but the extension manager is stuck with the upper part of the window off the screen

Look forward to your suggested corrections.

    Thank you!

For EM CS6, please delete "/Users/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Extension Manager CS6/exman_uiPreferences.xml. For EM CC, delete "/Users/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Extension Manager CC/exman_uiPreferences.xml.

The "/Users/library" folder is hidden in the Finder. You must hold down the "option" key when you click on the 'Go' menu in the menu bar, then click on "Library" in the drop-down list.

    Hello

    · What is the number and the model of the computer?

    · This occurs when you are working on any specific file format?

    · Were there any changes made on the computer?

    · You play the file in mode full screen?

    Change hardware acceleration

    a. you can try to change the hardware acceleration in the middle and check (you can try another level too.)

    b. right-click on a space empty on the desktop.

    c. go to the resolution of the screen.

    d. click Advanced settings, and then click the "troubleshooting."

    e. set hardware acceleration in the middle. (Here you'll get the only option your video card sound support).

You can also check: you receive an error message of codec or audio plays video but does not play when you play media files in Windows Media Player 11: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/926373

  • Program opens off the screen in a multiple monitor on Windows XP configuration

Original title: I URGENTLY need help with an XP several problem of monitor!

Our company has recently migrated to a new office and I got stuck with the displacement of all the computer systems to the new office. To make a long story short, one of our employees use four 4 monitors. After many difficulties, I finally got the monitors working as a horizontal screen with scrolling smoothly from left to right.

However, I have a BIG problem. One of the programs of this employee uses disappears (flies off the screen right most) when maximized. I can bring it by moving to the right screen, but I can't understand how to do that a permanent solution. ANYONE - your help would be appreciated. Is it a matter of swapping the screens? It was rather difficult to get properly prepared screens because it did not meet the order, I tried. Anyway, these people are rare flowers and get bent out of shape, if the program opens on the designated window. Is there a way to specify which window it can open on whether it can be remedied at all times?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Petrovsky9000,

Have you tried disabling 3 additional screens and then by testing the application? If you need help of deactivation and activation of the monitors, you can use the following as a guide:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/Setup/hwandprograms/monitors.mspx

If you always lose the application when the window is maximized, try the following:

    1. With 1 active display, maximize the application.
    2. In the display properties window, set the resolution of the single screen for a step down from where it is now and apply the changes.
    3. Accept the new resolution, and now to see if your application is in the center of the screen.
    4. Now go ahead and set the resolution to what it was and and apply the changes.
    5. Make sure the application is always visible and maximized correctly. If so, go ahead and turn the other 3 views and see if everything works properly.
Here are a few steps that solved the problem for my own systems in the past. I hope this helps!

  • Windows Vista - stuck on logging off the screen

I have this same problem with Vista Home Premium that others have had.  When I tried to shut down the computer laptop last night, he is stuck at logging off-page - with the active circle always renewable.  After 20 minutes or so I was tired so close by using the power button.  This morning when I turned on the laptop, he went to the same page of disconnection. 3 hours later, it's still there!  My technical knowledge is, to say the least, "limited."  I tried to open safe restart mode and pressing F8, as suggested on other threads, but which didn't work - I can not go beyond the logging off the screen. How can I solve this?

I had the same problem... This method works.

Turn on the computer and when the screen shows recovery Windows press the space key.

You will be presented with 2 options - either to continue with system resume or to remove the Hibernation file and start with primer system - choose the second option - you're fixed!

  • Windows 7 does not open the windows in the taskbar. The content seems to be displayed off the screen

Windows 7 does not open the windows in the taskbar. The content seems to be displayed off the screen. It started after the uninstall of Registry Mechanic and PC Tools, but this cannot be bound. IE 9 seems to be particularly affected. So do not display all of the windows that show on the taskbar.

Use the Windows logo key & left arrow several times for each windows application through their positions until they appear on the screen.

This problem is normally reported after someone used an external monitor as the applications try to open in the same position they had when they were last open - so if there was an external monitor last time now disconnected, they will try to open it in the middle of nowhere.

I know not, or the other tools that you mention, but if they are registry cleaners then they could also affect other parts of your system.
