  I know this is an old thread, but I came across it looking for a solution to the same problem. It turns out that my problem has a cause simple and simple solution.   I have disabled and the SMBv2 re-enabled on the client, no difference.

  I tried the KB2775511 app (and other regressions KBs later), no difference.

  I tried running ProcMon and assessment of results, but I do not see anything standing (without individual duration is more than 3 seconds and nothing else stand)

  I forced the Windows search database to reindex and disabled offline files, don't seem to have made a difference.

  Any ideas for additional troubleshooting or other help is appreciated!

  I agree with Akuma. It sounds like a hardware problem and probably the contact loses when you open the lid.
  The cable screen should be checked and probably replaced.
