  I suspected this to be the case. No, all shares advanced/shared in Captivate are event-driven. The conditional action will never be executed. I have a lot of examples on my blog for this use case, but post-it (yet) in this thread. BTW: I understand German (I'm Flemish) but do not dare to write in German.

  In a conditional action, you can have several decisions, which are all executed in the order: orders are from top to bottom, are decisions from the left to the humble. You will need to integrate the standard and the conditional action in a conditional action to be triggered by the buttons. Now that you have only one decision (indicated as "Unnamed" and choice in your screenshot), this decision should be the second decision. You don't need to put anything in the ELSE part, but I still don't know the break of the buttons, reason why I asked for a screenshot of the timeline. Your conditional action should look like this (sorry for the English terminology).

  The decision to "Always" 1 I like to cite the decisions and everything in my projects

  IF 1 is equal to 1

  Assign the v_button1 with 1

  Disable Button1

  Hide Button1

  See the Group1

  No Else part for this decision, you must edit the double button 2

  Decision 2 "CheckIt".

  Joint actions are not possible because the variables are used in the two decisiobns.

• The maddening (but still fake) buttons actions

  Hi there-

  The interface of my project has 10 buttons. For each button: click on the button, shows the hidden group. Group contains bkgd form, text block, text link "check it out", which climbs to another slide, text link "Not now" that hides the group to display back to the base interface.

  

  By clicking on a button displays its target group. By clicking on the link 'not now' refers to the base for the first action interface. If I then click a second button, hidden group shows as it should to may. - 1.2 seconds, and then passes to the second slide in the project.

  Back to the blade of departure seems to 'reset' of the issue: I can click a button to see the hidden display group, click "not now" to hide, and then click another button to repeat the hidden group flash / jump to the second slide.

  Same thing if I click a button, then click the button another without using the action 'not now' to clear the group, which is not surprising. The first hidden group remains visible, the second appears in the display, then the project moves to the second slide. I have an action assigned to each link 'not now' which includes the masking of the corresponding group and then take a break. I have not yet addressed the question where the user would just click on button after button (which I think would be common behavior and must be addressed, too).

  Clearly, Miss something which forces the slide to pause and reset. I have an onEnter action attached to the interface that resets the interface by hiding all the groups, taking into.

  

  I tried several different ways to try to fix the problem of chronology of slides, but it seems no matter what I do: I tried a specific time for objects (3 seconds that the slide is 3 seconds in all), defining the groups to perform for the rest of the slide, adding a break after 3 seconds, adding a break after various shorter durations etc.

  Did you use advanced buttons actions? Because a simple gesture going out of reading. Why choose Standard Simple action?-Captivate blog

  If you use a standard action (oneliner), and all the buttons have a break at this very moment, playhead will remain on the frame just before the point of suspension, which allows the user to click on the buttons as many times as he wants.

  And the action that you showed: what is the point of suspension of this button? Maybe after a screenshot of the timeline?

  Hello

  I use advanced in Captivate 5.5 action below to ignore questions early in the course of operations which do not appear in the final quiz once you hit the button Retake Quiz. Basically, I place this fast action on the first slide of no reportable matter appearing in the course and it jumps to the first quiz question to report when you press the Retake Quiz. But I find that it doesn't work in Captivate 6. Nobody knows what could happen here or maybe a better solution? Thanks in advance.

  

  For anyone looking at this topic: it is not really necessary to have a combined AND in the condition action. When an attempt to Quiz starts, the variable cpQuizInfoAttempts of quiz is incremented immediately. So to change the first line when 'cpQuizInfoAttempts' is greater than 1 and delete the second line didn't work for me. The value of cpInfoLastVisitedSlide has no added value.

  If you use the new pictures check box in the import window, as shown in this screenshot:

  

  If you're still using iPhoto then is that you say not to remove from the iPhone until you start the import process.  This window will open so you can choose whether or not to remove it from the iPhone:

  We have a standard page of the OPS in iProcurement, where there are a standard change request button, which redirects to another standard page. We want to change the button action to call another custom OAF page. Please let me know how to do the same.

  2. find the area where you want to create

  3. click on Create icon, which opens a new window.

  4. Select the style of the item as button and give the values for the element.

• Captivate 7 - buttons of intelligent shape that narrows II

  Since my last question was a bit difficult and nobody seemed to be able to help I hope to receive a better answer on this one because it is most certainly a bit easier to explain, and I think that will be easier problems.

  I was able to create a .swf with smartshape buttons that keep all the smart shape to their necessary size buttons but once I load the buttons contine to shrink by clicking into our LMS/Flex Wrapper (I think it's because Adobe Flash Player doesn't know what to do with it).

  My solution is I will try to find a way to either one of the two following things (reload or "Refresh" button in shares advanced after a click while there will always be the first sizing click) or...

  The second is a little more involved that I found the sizing goes on the 'down' button action and not 'click '. This means that, if I could remove the graphic feature 'down' of my smart shape buttons and keep the top and click actions in theory the button could work and not cause the narrowing of image...

  I try to save a document to a network drive by using a button action. I'm using Acrobat 8 Pro. I have a script that records on the C: drive and it works fine.

• Captivate 6 buttons do not work when load in Flash. Help!

  I created a content player that load SWFs and plays them with some basic commands. It is able to load in Captivate 5 and 5.5 without problem. However, now when I insert into Captivate 6, buttons in the Captivate content do not work. I can get the bearings the trigger clicks, but not button.

  Any thoughts?

  I solved it. It had nothing to do with Captivate (that I know). All this had to do with how I manage Captivate content loaded inside my flash application. It had to do with the scope and timing of how I was Manager the loaded content. If someone wants to know the details, I would be happy to disclose but I think that this is something quite unique in my own code structures.

  I would like to know if a database a button Action (update/SQL Insert / SQL SQL Delete) overrides the Insert/Update/Delete valid DML query values? My application button is "GENERATE", and of course, it is not in valid update request values. It is not an SQL UPDATE Action, even if the update does not occur because the form is reloaded without modification.

  Greetings,

  I really don't look at with sufficient attention. The update was going on along, I had just forgotten to reset a flag on my page, which is to screw on the session state. Thus, regardless of the request of a button, if you specify an Action of database on this subject, it replaces the rule valid values for request of DML. It's good to know.

• Captivate several buttons

  I have a slide with four text buttons "open URL" and an image button that goes to the next slide (next button). The text buttons appear earlier in the timeline as the next button, who took a break after 0.1 seconds at the end of the slide. So at the end of the slide, I have five buttons on the screen. If the user clicks one of the buttons to text, a browser window opens and goes to the URL (all good), but also moves to the next slide (not what I want). I would like the user to be able to play with all the buttons text without triggering the following button action. I want that button next to be the only button that moves to the next slide. What I am doing wrong? Any help is appreciated!

  An easy miss and an easy solution!

  Change each of the buttons. Click the button that you clicked to cajole the things in a new window. It appears as an arrow down to the right of the where you type the URL. See that option marked "continue play project? Deselect the option for each of the buttons.

  In a javascript function, you can set the property from 'rental' of the window object to point to the APEX page as in the example below. How you call this function from the Applet javascript I don't know.

• Captivate 6 buttons go to the next slide instead of perform the selected action

  I have slides with one or more buttons on them. Success, they generally show or hide the any content or graphics. Sometimes, these buttons work correctly.   Replace the simple action by a standard action to avoid releasing the read head. The behavior described in this blog, was valid for all versions up to 8 Captivate. Only to the CP9, it is now possible to stop the playhead to continue during the execution of a simple action:

  Hi all.  I use Adobe Captivate 8 on Windows.  I have a slide that has 2 buttons.  The buttons are placed in advanced actions, when you click on it to play an audio file and display the text, and then set the variable key 1, clicked.  The button are similar functions and can be clicked in any order.  When you click on the two buttons, I need to read an audio of conclusion.

  My problem is that once the second button is clicked, select what action starts immediately, as the two buttons were clicked and the condition is now filled.  I need to finish reading the audio second-clicked the button before she turns to the next action, and no matter what I try it doesn't work!  Major frustration!  If you need me to post any screen shots, please let me know.  Thanks in advance,

  You must use conditional Actions, not simple actions.  With a Standard action or conditional button does not automatically frees the timeline AFTER it has been clicked.

  You must also configure the tracking variables so that your conditional Action will be able to determine whether or not the two buttons were clicked and that's why the audio file should be placed accordingly.

• Where is the button Action 8 Captivate?

  I'm working on a responsive project in Captivate 8.

  In the slide properties panel, you can select Options, action and Style.  When you select Action, you find "Enter" and "exit".

  There are buttons on some of my slides.  Properties for buttons are properties, the timing and Position.  None of them Action.

  The Properties section contains the name of Style, Fill, Stroke, nature, and Shadow and reflection, but according to the manual, this section should also contain a section of the actions.  This isn't.

  Should not lie under calendar and is the station.

  Of course, Miss something.  Where can I put into action for a button in a sensitive project?

  I had the same problem. The block that contains Style Options of shares was completely empty. It happened to me when I started using CP8, so I did not know that these tabs were missing. The placeholder for the tabs was there but not the tabs. I closed and reopened CP8, and all was well again. Did not long so I can't speculate on how it happened.
