  Connect your USB to your computer. Open my computer, right-click on the drive letter of your USB drive and select Properties, now select Auto Play and select the radio button indicating "Ask Me each time to choose an action", click ok. now remove and try to reconnect your USB...

• I have an interactive PDF form with buttons that run the Script - Action - Up mouse - file &gt; save as.

  Works fine on the desktop. Customer now has this on their website and the buttons save as now do not work in different browsers... IE 8, Chrome, etc. Any suggestions?

  By creating a slide show with the new cfpresentation/cfpresentationsilde tags, I was wondering if there is a way to let the user to manually navigate to the next slide instead of use the "duration ="value"" attribute in the tag cfpresentationslide (which causes the preso just continue to the next slide after the number of seconds). Anyone know?
  
  I think that this added functionality is ideal for the CF and I'm blowing all repositories PowerPoint presos. I even built a report showing data exchange using the tag cfexchange! Awesome!

  Hell I have to stop being so lazy...

  After a quick review on the Livedocs for CF8 (which I love btw) the answer to this problem is to define the attribute of automatic reading of the tag cfpresentation on 'no' (or 'false'), which translates as "the user must click the Play button to start the presentation, and click the next button to move to the next slide in the presentation."

  As an added benefit of this feature already-cool-and-be-cooler, this link ( http://www.coldfusiondeveloper.com.au/go/news/by/ray-camden/DE8E6506-C09F-4506-91E4B50AFCB CF9C7 /) talks about how a presentation can be generated, saved to a file, compressed and sent to a user and read WITHOUT CF.

  After I clicked on the two buttons a third button is displayed.

  How can I do that.

  I suspected this to be the case. No, all shares advanced/shared in Captivate are event-driven. The conditional action will never be executed. I have a lot of examples on my blog for this use case, but post-it (yet) in this thread. BTW: I understand German (I'm Flemish) but do not dare to write in German.

  In a conditional action, you can have several decisions, which are all executed in the order: orders are from top to bottom, are decisions from the left to the humble. You will need to integrate the standard and the conditional action in a conditional action to be triggered by the buttons. Now that you have only one decision (indicated as "Unnamed" and choice in your screenshot), this decision should be the second decision. You don't need to put anything in the ELSE part, but I still don't know the break of the buttons, reason why I asked for a screenshot of the timeline. Your conditional action should look like this (sorry for the English terminology).

  The decision to "Always" 1 I like to cite the decisions and everything in my projects

  IF 1 is equal to 1

  Assign the v_button1 with 1

  Disable Button1

  Hide Button1

  See the Group1

  No Else part for this decision, you must edit the double button 2

  Decision 2 "CheckIt".

  I have an interactive relationship with a default filter set up. Now, I would like to have buttons to modify the SELECT statement used for the report. While I need not make a new page of interactive report for each button. I want to provide the user with a buttons show all reports, view reports on demand and completed report.   or report_type like 'Finished reports' and: p1_button_value = 2
  or: p1_button_value = 3

  Can you access the properties of the button and check under option - check the calendar - to Pause after, set it to 0.1 seconds.

  The default test buttons are not configurable. You can leave the default button of the workspace, insert an identical Skip button using n smartshape which places and set the action.

  I inserted a Captivate SWF file on a slide, and I want a button in one inserted SWF to move to the next slide in the main project of Captavate.

  I was wondering if I have to use shares advanced on this inserted Captivate SWF or javascript on this button to move the main Captivate project to the next slide?

  I'm with Lilybiri on this one.  With all of the slides in the same project is the best way to go.

  When you start a new training project, the height and the width of the stage of project file is one of the main decisions you need to get right.  Then when you capture any simulation content, you must make sure to match the size of the screen exactly so adding slides to capture is just an exercise in copy/paste.

  Captivate SWF inside other Captivate SWF of nesting is a highly questionable practice that Captivate was never designed to support.  It MAY work sometimes, but it can also cause all sorts of issues as well.

• Button Widget - need to move to the next slide, just keep

  I'm new to Cp 5.5. I was an expert in Cp4 and earlier, but due to changes in work, I haven't worked with Captivate in a few years and am just getting back to it. Certainly things have changed!

  I set up a model of slides and top right, I placed one of the widgets button static SWF that comes with Captivate. In the options for it that I put to go to the next slide when clicked, however on the preview is continuous on the same blade and not to jump to the next. I tried with a few swf buttons and they all work the same. I'm doing something wrong? Or is the code broken on these buttons?

  If the latter, then I guess my option if I really want to keep the appearance of the button (I do), then just use it as an image button?

  The static button with Captivate 5.5 has no suspension, but it should work OK, done for me anywat. How did you test? You can insert a text with the variable rdinfoCurrentFrame of system caption to see if there is in fact no break to the next slide?
