• Dynamic links works only when the AE project is open

  Whenever I start my project to create, all my images load, but where there is a dynamic linked after effects composition I just get the yellow "media Meanwhile chart» If I try to recreate a link to these compositions to the original after effects project (there is only 1 project with comps about 7 inside), first simply freezes, and my only option is to force quit it.

  If I try to reimport that after effects project that it freezes and I have to force to leave. I tried to create another after effects project with just a simple piece of text in 1 composition and then import and sometimes with the dialog "Import after effects compositions" but then there is simply nothing but show progress who never does anything bar a "connection to the server of dynamic links".

  On other occasions, when I try to make a shape any dynamic link import first just freezes and I have to force quit. It seems to be a problem for me with dynamic link, which has happened recently. This may be due to an After effects Scripts, I recently installed? Can they affect dynamic links?

  SOLUTION: I found a solution, but it is not ideal in case I've had several after effects in the first projects. I can open the 1 after the effects of the project first, and then when I opened the first links to the project and the individual compositions seamlessly. BUT if I close after effects project while still in first, first freezes and I have to force it to quit. If something is terribly wrong with this project.

  Okay, I think I found the solution.

  First of all, I went through and deleted a third after effects scripts/Script UI panels/third party plugins to see if that was causing problems. I then tried again and found that it still had the same problem, so it wasn't because of that.

  I then found someone in a forum that said deleting the folder Adobe containing positioning preferences and other things found in the documents of the user. I deleted it and as I forced quit 2 process of "aselflink" which seems to be running in the background. I also deleted my preferences AE holding Option-shift on the after effects startup and launch of the first.

  A combination of all that, now a dynamic link is working smoothly again. I go to a time not so crucial for my current project finished, reinstall the scripts etc and make sure that it was not caused by them.

• Show only in the middle of the wide screen monitor webites

  I have a 25 inch wide HP - LCD HD monitor, since installation, Firefox AND Google Chrome only display the page in the center of the screen all scrunched up, there is nothing on both sides of the screen but the white color of the Web page I'm on (including this page), this only happens in Firefox and Google Chrome, Internet Explorer (which I can't stand) shown in the image on the screen in the same way it would on one normal monitor 19 inches

  I tried full screen and it does not fix the problem at all, it is remove the address bar and menu and the image is still in the middle of the screen just crumpled, the attached image shows what look like most all web pages (the image displayed is the page I am currently able to post my question as I just took a screenshot) , on the only page that seems normal is each page in Internet Explorer, the pages I visit in Firefox and Google Chrome, like eBay, Craigslist and any forum I'm going, looks like the attached image, once, this happens only in Firefox and Google Chrome, I just (yesterday) was installing a reformat full and fresh, Windows 7 Professional 64 bit and SP1 , it's the same problem that I had before the reformatting and the new facility, it's the 36.0.1 Firefox Version and he said its updated, I tried all settings, including zoom and text zoom, with he does nothing to broadcast the image on the screen as it is MUST

• images not appearing is not in the published projects - 6 Captivate

  I created a Captivate 6 project with a series of images related to appear after a few seconds with an audio track.  When I try to publish the slides as SWF or EXE files, the images do not appear, but audio for games of slides.  I don't use any transition, have changed the quality of the slide to optimized, tried to force the republication of slides, as well as uncheck a scalable HTML content.  Anyone have any suggestions for me?

  Please check that you have 'Pause after' for your button?

  

  Once your button, it goes to pause the slide and following object will not come.

  Double click on the button, the property inspector appears, under the "Calendar" Section, you have an option to uncheck, after a pause.

  I used the Jotform Contact form and a PayPal form my reactive site.  Both forms show that in a browser when the width of inside Co site with field breakpoint, forms are embedded in the. I tried to integrate forms into each breakpoint without success. I saw the site in Safari, iPhone, office, and desktop Firefox. I just discovered that there is a Widget Jotform for Muse. Having looked at I don't think that it would be a lot of help - or I'm hurt? I already had the discussion with Jotform, but their suggestions could not solve this problem.   I can tell you what has worked for me on the same question:

  In Muse, delete the HTML element that contains the form. In JotForm, go to your form, click on publish, incorporate, and then choose the options to embed iFrame. Return to Muse, add a new element of HTML and paste the iFrame in it. Publish your site.

  It worked for me and the shape is now visible on all breakpoints. This solution was given to me by the support of JotForm. I hope it will work for you also.

• Size of the image shows only in the insertion in html format

  I noticed after inserting a bunch of images using the html pane, I noticed that the sizes of the image is poster not in the html code, that is to say

  However, when I drag the on the preview pane (which I prefer not to do so), the sizes are referenced, IE

  I prefer having the dimensions included in the HTML and certainly don't want to add them manually. Is it possible to do this via the html pane?

  Right-click on the image.  Press Reset size.  Width and height native will then show in the image properties pane.

• Control output playback does not work on the published project

  I selected the playback control on the skin of my project, with the progress bar and the output information.
  When I saw the exit button works.

• Remote files shows only in the files window

  DW 8.0.2, Windows XP, Ubuntu Linux server, FTP
  
  Everything worked fine for a few months and earlier today. Now I can connect via FTP to my web server to Ubuntu, but the remote files are not displayed to the top and so the synchronization does not work (I can GET, but not GET). All appears well in Filezilla. DW FTP log shows an activity, including the list of folders, but still nothing shows in the remote view. As far as I KNOW, nothing on the server has changed (I asked) and this has happened while he was working in DW... one minute everything is fine, the next it wasn't.
  
  Because synchronization has stopped working (he wants to load all THE files ALL the time because he does not see the remote files) I tried the troubleshooting of disabling sync, outgoing, restarting, enabling sync thing, trying a synchronization, etc., but now the XML (in the _notes folder) will not return. What HRT hell is?
  
  So far I have tried:
  -Exit and restart of DW
  -Restart the PC
  -Restart the FTP service (although I doubt that this is the problem because it works very well with Filezilla)
  -Troubleshooting for sync problems
  -Update re - install version 8.0.2 (can't reinstall all DW right now because the disks are at home)
  -Creating a new site
  -Mucking with the FTP settings (currently using passive FTP with sync turned on... all other settings is the usual)
  
  I intend to try a reinstall of the DW tonight. Any help is appreciated!

  Wow... not a single response. Anyway, problem solved. It turns out that a reboot of the server restored the remote view. It was after a restart the FTP service has not set. Odd in any case because "regular" FTP worked fine, but not in Dreamweaver.

• D10 BIOS AND O/S SHOWING ONLY HALF THE RAM INSTALLED

  Computor was purchased with 8 1gig chips installed. The bios and the operating system report 4 GB.

  When I remove the ram in slot 2, 4, 6 and 8, the bios and the o/s report 2 gig.

  I have cleared the cmos memory and reinstall the RAM chips.

  Although the seller insists on the memory chips live are all good, I think that my next step would be to draw all and reinstall them one by one. What is the best way to do this, start with slot 1 and 3 and then add one piece at a time and restart?

  The problem has been resolved. It turns out that the RAM chips come from different manufacturers. 6 microns and 2 Samsung. All the chips worked well within the brand but do not work well together, I guess with some timing differences. I got all installed Samsung and all 8 concerts now appear.

  Please can I know how to find a Fax/dial-up process in the process task manager?  I would like to be able to put end after a fax was sent so that I can send another.

  In Windows 7, it appears as WFS.exe and this is the Microsoft Windows Fax and Scan Service.

  In Windows XP fax console is an installable component in option. It should be also of the wfs.exe.

• Scrolling text does not display in the published file - 9 Captivate

  I'm working on a Captivate 9 project with several slides containing text scrolling interactions. Viewers of content and features on preview, however, appears in the published project (i.e. empty space where the marquee should be). Edition for HTML5.

  Using the basic version of the interaction with the content entered directly interacting.

  Any recommendation on why this is happening and how to solve?

  Ok. Got this working. Looks like the new update did the trick, but I had to trash the old interaction and create a new one to make it work. Presented in preview in Scorm cloud everything has worked "as advertised."

• URL opens only the first project in a box

  RoboHelp Server 8 and RoboHelp 8

  I'm about to have our developers redirect our online help on HR server instead where it is currently kept.  I am interested in the use of the shortened URL:

  http://<server-name>/robohelp/server?prj=<project-name>&area=<area-name>
  

  I have two projects in each region.  When I test the URL for the first project in a region, he worked successfully.  However, when I test the URL for the second project in the same area, it only re - opens the first project.  For example:

  http://help.acme.com/RoboHelp/Server?PRJ=Project1 & Area = Area1

  http://help.acme.com/RoboHelp/Server?PRJ=Project2 & Area = Area1

  When I click Project1, it opens and correctly draws the right help.  By clicking the second URL, Open Project1 instead of Project2 as it is supposed to.

  It's as if he only reads the first project in a box.  Is - this problem somewhere?  Flushing DNS and clearing history does nothing.

  Someone please tell me the obvious error, I do not know I do.

  OK, I think I have a solution to your problem. It seems that the issue is with the underscore in the names of your project. If you remove them, you will be OK for both projects in the same area. Just rename your project in RoboHelp and republish. You need to remove old projects to the Web administrator however.

• FilePath to "open the other projects.

  I have a button that has "Open other Project", which opens the 2nd project very well for me.  But Captivate 4 lists the full path of the file and won't let me not specify filename only.  The two projects are in the same place, but listing means full filepath that nobody else can open the 2nd project.

  I heard that Captivate 4 lets not use relative paths to 'open another project' for some reason any.

  Have you tried to publish .swf and link using 'open a URL or file?

  This is how to create a link to the top of all my projects, but I am still using Captivate 3.
