  My client began to experience problems with the TOC after plug a google Executive has been intalled with IE8.  A previous post (about a year), I found a similar issue with one speaker very nice here.  Although the exact same difficulty did not, something similar has. The error seems to be related to the fact that, when the script recognize Google Frame, he was trying to launch Safari. Obvously IE8 did not like that. This fix worked for us:

  Change whver.js in the root of your project (also edit variants that you have. For some reason, we had several - for example: whver_nc.js)

  Add: var gbChromeFrame = (gAgent.indexOf ('chromeframe')! =-1);

  I am trying to download my first site, but I get the warning above when I try.  My images ARE in the 'root' folder in a file named "images".  AND in my finder, they are all fine.  And when I load in a browser to test the site everything works fine.

  During my construction, I imported images in my site from another file outside my "root folder" and Dreamweaver automatically copied them more in my "pictures" folder in my "root folder".

  Because Dreamweaver copied the images automatically, I deleted the original with the image file.

  Can anyone offer an explanation and a solution?

  Check your site definition. You can set a folder of images by default wrong with an absolute path.

• Scrolling text does not display in the published file - 9 Captivate

  I'm working on a Captivate 9 project with several slides containing text scrolling interactions. Viewers of content and features on preview, however, appears in the published project (i.e. empty space where the marquee should be). Edition for HTML5.

  Ok. Got this working. Looks like the new update did the trick, but I had to trash the old interaction and create a new one to make it work. Presented in preview in Scorm cloud everything has worked "as advertised."

• Photo does not to the Publisher (PSE 8)

  When I want to modify or correct photo the photo in the Organizer is not making it to the Publisher.

  Only, it started a week ago. I selects the photo and click the orange "fix" and select any photo editor. The Editor screen opens, but without no photos at all.

  If you send multiple files they often don't appear under Show files of the Organizer in the dropdown in the top left of the tray.

• Problem with .gif images not in the process of disappearance

  Hi-

  I'm fairly new to photoshop. Lately I've been messing around with editing and gifs and have been sporadic success achieve what I decided to do. I'm looking for help with a peculiar problem which seems to appear again and again. The problem is that when I try to make GIFs. with a transparent background, gif images don't disappear properly once the file is moved out of photoshop.

  For example: I came across the following .gif yesterday and decided I want to try to edit for a surreal effect.

  I wanted to trim the beginning of animation where the man is on the bike and make sure the man just rolls backward on the ground (weird I know).

  I deleted the images I successfully is most wanted and reproduces images of animation that I wanted to play again so that the image would loop seamlessly. I then went through image by image and corresponding layer by layer, to remove the white background. I used the quickwand tool. It took a lot of time, but the gif was playing in photoshop that I wanted, a man back writhing on the ground for no apparent reason. Siiiiiiick.

  So I have everything save for web thing and devices, saved as a .gif file, and then I put it on the interwebs and it turns out that I have created this monstrosity:

  Please, please, please, someone tell what I'm doing wrong. I feel like I got the exact procedure even other gifs and had them turn out perfectly. What Miss me?  Please note that the problem is not that I did accidentally layers active for executives, so that I did not want their assets. I checked.

  Each image is defined as "don't throw"... which means that it will keep this visible frame throughout the animation.

  Select all the images in the Animation Panel and then right click on any change of setting this option.

• Windows does not recognize the Publisher or publisher certificate (Norton)

  I tried to install an update to Norton (360.5) and windows did not recognize Norton/publisher certificate.  Norton contacted and they spent about 3 hours trying to install the update and concluded that it was a windows problem and said I should check through windows.  Suggestions?

• How to fix Images not in the root of the Site?

  I have a new site in Dreamweaver and the index.htm page is in the site, but the associated files (images, css files) are not in the "root of the site. It works fine on my local machine, but when I synchronize the files with the remote site these files only be synchronized.

  Are all or most of these files in a single folder?
  Then go into your hard drive and copy/move the files locally
  The site folder. Then perform a check of link or a search/replace to correct paths.

  When done - to double check a find in source to file:///
  There should be no absolute path local file:///

• Image not in the elements at the launch of the LR5

  EDIT: for the addition of css it is because under the html5 doctype, inline images get a small amount of padding added to 'text descenders' (a space for tiny legs, letters like 'g' or 'y').

  Add display: block turns your image from inline to block, remove the default browser inline padding.

• CP6 MultiSco Packer accepting do not manually zipped published projects

  I need to include some PDFs in my published captivate file that users can download on the course. To do this, I publish courses as a folder, not compressed, the files in the folder and then manually zipped PDF publication record. MultiSco package manager will not accept my manually zipped files. How do you work around that, really, these files must be in the same folder published? I've done it before MultiSco Packer existed and never had any problems.

  Alternatively, you can simply publish the course in a record once (so that the publication record exists), copy your PDF files in there, as requires it and then publish again using the Captivate zip option.  As Varun mentions, if your content is intended for LMS, you must make sure LMS reports is activated before the publish.

  When Captivate zips folder it won't make the way most people think, by zip the folder from the outside.  The process is rather to select everything IN the folder and then zip.  This means that the imsmanifest.xml file is located at the root of the zip file.  If the file imsmanifest.xml is not in this level, the LMS refuses your zip as an invalid SCORM package.

• Q: can not build the MOOCData project

  I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but I can't build the MOOCData project. The build option is grayed out when I right click on the project (the project icon looks like a small cup of coffee). I tried to edit a single file to see if it obtained the permit but no. There is no MOOCData.jar file either.

  One solution would be to open the file browser, click the build.xml file and executes the default target. It worked for me.

• Captivate showing only in the published project

  I have one inserted in the RoboHelp project and video of Adobe Captivate project. The video time / work to the RoboHelp project during the "Preview" of the subject, but after I publish the RoboHelp - video project does not appear on the published side.   I want to join cptv projects using dialogs pop up on the main captivate project, but I don't know how to do it.

  I know that this idea can be implemented on Captivate, since I saw it on another course online.

  Example:

  1. The hyperlink from the button on slide 1 has opened a pop-up dialogue box that has incorporated an other captivate project (see step 2).

  

  2. when the user has finished watching the embedded captivate in the pop up dialog box.
  then, it closes the dialog box by clicking the X button and goes back to main captivate project (i.e., slide 1).

  

  3. what the user sees after closing the popup dialog box.

  

  You may know how I could do this? Is it advanced actions?

  I'm sorry, don't understand. Now you're talking about the incorporation of a Captivate demonstration, the original question was a link to another Captivate file. If you want to integrate a CP-demonstration, convert to mp4 and put it in a video. A demonstration is intended for passive observation, which means that a video would be OK. I would have preferred a video demo of better quality, but it is up to you. This last explanation is different from the first.
