capture a video?

Is there a way to capture a video that plays Windows XP similar to do a print screen to capture an image of the screen as an image on my screen?

I don't have time or the reader to read all of this on the links you posted j of volunteering. I mentioned "as a screen printing" because I was hoping that there is a simple way to capture the entire video it displays and possibly change the display of the screen that is displayed for the entire video to remove unwanted video all about, without having to learn to use anything complicated or buy anything.

I'm glad that you answered... I found a new way of
record a video.

See the following links:

VLC Media Player... allows to save during video playback
and will save the segment when you stop recording.

  • I tried to install a Capture device video diamond VC500. While the software seems to be installed OK I seem to have a problem getting the unit to operate.

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit operating system.

Unit that captures the video called EZ Grabber and it appears on the screen, but it's like he's going. Its screen doesn't show anything when there is a video input.

The instructions on their site says to locate on "E - Home Infrared Receiver" device Device Manager under the "USB Bus controllers" and then select the update driver option and install it using the supplied disc. "

Check the Device Manager I don't seem equipped a 'infrared receiver E-Home' not listed under the Universal Serial Bus Controllers listing. Of many USB hubs, etc.

Additional follow-up of diamond told to use the USB ports on the computer rather than a USB hub. What I did without any noted difference. It still does not work.

On the web I downloaded a ' RestoreEHomeInfraredReceiverUSBCIRWindows7.bat file saved on the hard C drive then it installed. This seemed to install OK, but after having rebooted and checking the Device Manager Universal Serial Bus Controllers section there is still no article "E - Home Infrared Receiver".

Can anyone suggest a way to install the file "receiver infrared E-Home ' in the ' Bus USB controllers section.

  • Frame using to capture the video puts the file in the stack, can't get it then appears.

Help! I always use this feature to capture some video footage of my ghost DJI. It saves me time having to take a lot of pictures. When I used to use the menu of the video PlayBar drop-down "image capture" in the library function, the framework that I would capture appears just beside the video in the row of photos at the bottom of the window. Now, it appears as a stack, and even though I tried all the options under the stack when I right click on the selected image, I don't get a change in the way that is the battery icon. Now, I don't see the captured anywhere file. This was just recently a problem so I'm assuming an update changed something in my settings, or it is a bug. On a scale of 1 to 10 on my knowledge of this program, I'm between a 2-3. So, if I'm missing something simple, please keep this in mind. Thank you!

Maybe you have a set of filter that prevents the capture frame appear in the film downstairs.  Make sure the library > activate filters is not checked , and then try to capture the image again.

Then, it may be that the batteries are reduced by default.  Make Photo > stacking > expand all stacks.  Now when you capture an image, it should appear in a pile at the bottom, but with already developed cell.

Finally, if you view a collection or the smart collection that contains video, i.e. If the collection is selected as a source in the Collections Panel in the left column of the library, then when you capture an image, it will not be displayed at all, because LR is not automatically add photo frame to the collection.

  • Lightroom: Time to Capture for videos imported from iphoto does not appear in the metadata

Hi, I imported all my photos and videos from iphoto to Lightroom recently with iphoto import plugin.  I think that all my photos have been imported, but I noticed that all my videos have no capture time, while they became grouped in my collections.  But I think that I can still see their capture time in the 'gray' text on each photo.  Why did this happen and how to solve this problem?  I really want my time to capture in video metadata, and I also want to see my videos in chronological order on the right with my videos.   Strangely, the videos imported into Lightroom directly from my camera SD card do not have this problem, don't do that those imported from iphoto.  Thank you!

LR does not correctly manage video metadata in general, and in particular, he often misses capture time.  Sometimes it works: choose a video, make metadata > edit Capture time and then click all change (without actually modifying the corrected time).  If that sets the time of capture at the right time, you can select all the videos of problem, metadata > edit Capture time, and then click all change.   If you have a small number of videos, you can manually fix the capture time to help change the Capture time.

See for more information in the official forum for feedback from Adobe for more details, vote on it and give your opinion: Lightroom: metadata applied to videos in Lightroom is not available in other applications

  • Unable to capture HD video using Windows Movie Maker or Cyberlink Power Director of Canon HV30 on I.Link (firewire)

Canon HV30 HDV Capture Issues Firewire in Win 7 (64-bit)

There seems to be a problem with Windows 7 (64 bit) in the HD video capture from a Canon HV30 on I.Link (firewire). The camera is detectable, but I am unable to capture videos HD using Windows Movie Maker or Cyberlink Power Director. All the drivers and the software updated.

Same camera, same editing works very well under Win XP.

Someone at - he a workarouonds?

    (1) the question arose on January 20, 2010, when I got my new computer (Dell XPS 9000) WIN 7 (64-bit) and I first tried to capture video, I had already shot with the Canon Vixia HV - 30.

    (2) the updated capture in place according to the manual of Canon, using the firewire interface to download video using Power Director 7 or Windows Movie Maker.

-Power Director 7 is able to detect and control the camera, however once the capture begins an error message appears saying that the i-link on the camera mode is not compatible with the Strip to be captured. Verified media is HDV (60i) and playback camera settings are all correct.

-Windows Moview Maker is able to detect and control the camera, however, no video is captured and no error message appears.

    (3) will try to reinstall the drivers for the HV30.

    Kind regards

  • How can I capture a video on Adobe Connect 6?

I have a few old (a vacuum) training I need to capture and re download to a new server.  Our new server is like the lateast and more of the old server was Adobe Connect Version 6.

I remember that using one as a zippy share thingie.  When you send the video to a url and it captures for you then I can upload it to the new server.

Can someone help me with this?

Hmm, not a very useful message is?

It may very well be that the formatting changed source files between now and 6 Connect to the current server does not recognize the content. I would say that you have two reasonable solutions.

    1. If the old server will stay online, just provide the link to the recording of the old server and deal with any tracking/reporting it.
    2. Use a screenshot (Camtasia or something similar) application and make a video of the recording. Then place the video (MP4 or FLV) on the new server to connect.
  • I would like to know what product will allow me to capture streaming video online that plays using Flash Player.  I have Flash Player (free version)

Is could someone please advise me what product Adobe will allow me to capture on my PC streaming video that plays automatically Flash Player?  I have a very old version of Flash Player Pro and free version of Flash Player.  I have also several other Adobe products.  My problem is that I have a very slow internet connection (usually runs between 1 and 2 megabits per second) so streaming video is either very pixelated, freezes completely or stops frequently to fill the buffer.

Adobe does not offer all products that allow you to download streaming video, but there seems to be a number of free products available that do just that: Google search.

I have 80 digital tapes (SV) to transfer to the computer. I have a nice Canon Vixia HV40 camcorder with HDMI and IEEE 1394 out output.  My Sony Vaio laptop has only 2 USB and 3 connectors and an HDMI output.  I found an old Moviebox Pinnacle on ebay that has a USB and IEEE 1394 output.  (Hard to find)  Other than buying, please recommend a solution to transfer (capture) digitally in real time in my PRE 14 on this laptop.

Please note in the description of the appliance (see the 1 reviewer comments in your link)

    • It's Firewire input USB Out and examiner claims to have got the same results if firewire... and Setup included recognition of camera
    • The device is described for Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows XP, no mention of 10.

If it worked for you to put your shots on the computer, you would take the captures in Premiere Elements with a project add Media/files and folders.

The following article refers to the device you are watching

What software will be included with the product you are looking at on EBay?

I see a lot of ifs in the mixture. I recommend a safety net so that you're not stuck with a device that does not work for you.

    Please consider.
