  I'm creating an application, similar to a library application, where I have a table that stores information of books (BOOK_ID, BOOK_NAME, etc.). I would like to create another BOOK_USER table with two columns BOOK_ID and USER_ID. BOOK_ID refers to the BOOKS table and I want to USER_ID to refer to the table that stores the information of the users of the workspace I use.   Default password for user 'oc4jadmin! I'm not aware of this user in 10.1.2.x, maybe there's one of OC4J side but not otherwise. If you are looking for credentials to connect to OracleAS controls (EM), the username is "ias_admin" and password is the one you specified during the installation. There is no default password.   I knew that in the past before Weblogic bought by Oracle, Oracle, always using Oracle application server.
  Now with the Weblogic gaining more popularity on the market, which is the product the value of learning and get certified.
  
  Is it still useful to take Application Server 10 g or go with Weblogic. in certification path, Weblogic 10 g.

  I built my Middleware on Linux 64-bit test. Note that the 32-bit version allows to run Forms and Reports Developer.

  Beware of pre-installation tasks

  Install the Oracle database
  Linux RCU (repository creation utility)

  Database

  Use an existing database. (And it worked)

  My test was divided into four main parts: (in this order)

  Installation of the regional coordination unit
  WebLogic Server Install
  Install JRocket
  Forms and reports Install

  According to me, it took me two or three times to do things. (or at least work)

  Normally, an application server will expand the war for the web application file works from the expanded location. When this is the case, you can deploy a new one simply by copying the module zip file in the directory WEB-INF/classes/rulebases .

  However, Weblogic is not extend the web application, there is no directory to copy the file zip of modules on.

  It is possible to run the determinations under weblogic server so that you can deploy a new modules without restarting the server of determinations. There are two technqiues to achieve this.

  1. you can manually unzip the .war file somewhere that the weblogic server can see locally and then deploy the .war file expanded as the determinations server web app. If you do that you can deploy a new modules by copying the zip file in the directory WEB-INF/classes/rulebases to this place.

  2. it is possible to specify a rulebases directory that is not in the web application. In this case, it should be a place the web application can be done locally. You can deploy a new modules by copying the rulebase.zip file to the location specified modules.

  You specify a different directory to search rulebases by setting a java system property: determinations.server.rulebase.dir.

  Example of

  -Ddeterminations.server.rulebase.dir=/some/other/dir/rulebases

  While installing data card Internet provided by BSNL in India (3G version) on my laptop (Vista Home Premium - 32-bit), I get the error code 1158 and nothing else is displayed in the dialog of error except an OK button.  While trying to install it on my desktop (Vista Home Premium - 32-bit), it worked fine.  So the problem is with my laptop.  Could someone help, please?

  can someone help me with the syntax to capture the value of variable with sorting on a date field with in descending order.

  example: I have the Date field.

  JANUARY 1, 2015

  FEBRUARY 1, 2015

  March 1, 2015

  so according to the above date lists sorted in descending order are January 1, 2015. So the syntax I want something like first sort on Date in descending order and it should appear in the variable.
