  I reformatted my computer using windows vista and the same computer parts who have worked for more than a year. After installation, I received a message that my Windows Vista was an illegal copy.   When you double-click on the driver icon with the yellow triangle what should I know about the problem? Is there a conflict?  The driver is not installed at all?  Did he say EXACTLY?  I don't think it's a Vista issue but rather a NVidea problem (card, driver, firmware, software, whatever)- but will help to know what Device Manager.

  You seem to have tried all the logical problem solving techniques.  Absolutely certain that you got all the drivers, firmware and/or software do you need for the card and compatible with the card and your version of Vista - bad ones can not only work, but can cause damage?  I think the next step is to contact Nvidia Supporthttp://www.nvidia.com/page/support.html where they have a base of knowledge, access to a forum like this but dedicated NVidea and options hardware support depending on how you acquired the card.  I couldn't find a phone number, but I suspect that the material support section will lead you to one.  They should be able to help better than us because that's their product.  That's what I would do next in your situation.

  On the European driver Toshiba page, you will find the Flash Media Driver for Texas Instruments. This is the driver for the Bridge Media Slot. This slot allows you to insert an SD card, Memory Stick (Pro) or xD picture cards.

  The fact is that the TV tuner is associated countries and if you buy laptop with integrated (for example Qosmio) TV tuner, you'll probably be able to use it only in the country where the laptop is purchased. Perhaps the external TV tuners from different manufacturers are more flexible and can be used in different countries.

  In my opinion you should speak with your local dealer. They have the best presentation of the product and you can get more accurate information. I also know that you can install WMCE on each item you purchase. I recommend for example P100. Large unit with fantastic 17.0 "TruBrite (1440 x 900) discovers Wide 16:10 color TFT display. I'm not 100% sure but I think that the Satellite P100-367 comes with WMCE.

  The M55 is the American model and it should be similar to the European M50 and there is certainly no TV tuner inside. This means that you must use an external solution. In my opinion, you should consult your dealer and check all available commands. I'm sure he can recommend the best and also the cheapest option. When you buy external tuner TV will be delivered to the appropriate software, you can watch TV without MCE.

  There is a tuner inside this laptop and I have the antenna and its plugged in. The drivers all seem to be installed but WMC tells me that I don't have the hardware to run FM stations and I can't make it work. Also, I can't record library but although I can't watch TV no problem at all.

  Are you sure that your equipped G50 FM tuner to 100%?

  As I know a few models of G50 has been equipped with a tuner TV with antenna TV port that allows to connect a coaxial cable to this port to watch a TV program and then save.
  But as I said earlier, this feature is not included with all models of G50.
