Card SDXC on Tecra M9

Hello

I have a Toshiba Tecra M9 with Windows 7 Enterprise (64-bit) on this subject.
Can someone tell me if the SDXC cards will work on the SD Slot that is built in?

Thank you

I think that you are the first person with this issue.
Let's see if someone here already has these cards.

I don't even find the price for these cards.

I'm sure that Toshiba does not test card reader with this card, but only with the cards mentioned in the user s manuals document if this will work it will be nice, if it isn't luck.

Almost all of the Canon 'Vixia' line of cams are less than 1 k $. The Vixia HF G30 $1150 and it is the only model over $1 k.  Here are all the models to consumer prices.  (X XAnn, XFnnn, & XCnn series is top of the line, and of course the EOS film bodies are much more expensive.)

As far as I know, they all supports SDXC cards.

  • Using ISA cards in the Tecra 8100/8200 docking station

Is it possible to use old pc ISA cards in the PCI slots in the Tecra 8100 docking station?
The Deskstation V Plus for the 8000 series seems to allow dual use in some of its slots so I wonder if it's the same for the 8100/8200 series.

You can also the Tecra 8100 can be anchored to the Deskstation V to allow access to the ISA slots?

    Hello

where did you get this with the AIS in the PCI slots? I've never seen a combo slot in my life so I can't believe :)
But what about the v: Deskstation

Yes, it can be anchored, it s integrates without problems, then you will be able to use the ISA-machines built slot.

  • Is it possible to update the graphics card on a Tecra A8 (PTA38E)?

The integrated Intel GMA 945 chipset on the Tecra A8 is not quite deal with the applications I put money. (3D games...)

I know that laptops are severely restricted on space internally and that the purpose of the integrated chipset is to save energy, but is possible to install a graphics card only stand instead of using the integrated graphics card?

If so, can you recommend a suitable graphics card and any company with the necessary expertise to install the card... (I guess this would be a bit beyond my abilities)

I agree with the user above. Cannot remove the GPU like on the desktop PC.
The chip is welded and mounted on the motherboard.

  • Can read the SD card SDXC standard S7-392?

The Acer S7-392 record indicate only "SD", but not whether the SDHC or SDXC card types can be read. A quick search of the web shows several contradictory web pages! Some say: 'Yes,' some say 'no '.

So, if all goes well a real representative Acer or a real owner of S7 - 392 may answer: can the slot built-in SD read the new SDXC format (which, according to Wikipedia, will be formatted with the exFAT file system)?

    Thank you!

    Alain

Yes. I use a card of exFAT Sandisk Extreme 64 gb with no problems

  • Where to put the Sim Card in the Tecra M9-169

    Hello
First of all excuse me for my bad English.

I just have a question. I bought a Toshiba Tecra M9 a few weeks ago and I was happy to see that this laptop allows 3G.

So I search the slot for the 3 G SIM, but not found.

Have you any idea where is the 3G slot on my computer?

Lucky for you, I had my hands on one of these notebooks these days in my company.
And you can find this Groove under the hard drive. It took some time to find that out.

So go and check it out.

  • How to get the card working on Tecra M1 WLAN?

I just bought a 2nd hand Tecra M1. Great! It has installed XP but no Toshiba tool. I can't access my WLAN router. Seems like if WIFI connection is not yet installed. As I know from my Satellite Pro M30, there are Toshiba tools for this, they work smarter.

Maybe I need drivers - WXP is material unknown when starting up - might be the WLAN device - who knows.
When I check the network connections, I find 1934 and LAN adapter, but no WLAN device. I have already run the XP Wizard for WLAN connections, SSID and hexagonal key; but no WLAN device presents itself.

Then, someone a idea how to get the job of WLAN?
Is it possible to get the Toshiba M1 software or can I use my software SatPro?

    Thank you Jan so far

It's good that you will find yourself, I think most of us would point on your ad when you have users with a similar problem. Sometimes it s really useful to have users like you who will investigate their cases.

I'm now long enough a Member here, but every time I have met people who have solved problems like that, then I must say how much I appreciate it. :)

    Welcome and good weekend

  • Several cards Bluetooth two Tecra M4

    Hello

is it possible to have two bluetooth adapters using the Toshiba bluetooth stack?

I want to do something like this:
-use BT PAN server for my two laptops
-use (simultaneously) BT PAN customer to connect one laptop to my cell phone (and connect to internet through it). Currently, it is not possible (I have to disconnect the two laptops or mobile phone or connect the laptop via the USB cable), because I can't have that PAN server and active client on a single machine.

The mobile phone is HTC e650 running Windows Mobile and laptop Toshiba Tecra M4.

I was thinking about buying a second bluetooth adapter I'm impossible to connect via the USB port, but discovered that it can be difficult and may not work properly, because windows XP supports only a single adapter bluetooth by machine. But I discovered that bluetooth stack implementations made by other companies (such as Toshiba) may offer more features and are to some extent OS independent.

If someone created something similar, please tell me how you did it.

I know that I can connect laptops with WiFi and it works for sure, but I want to try to connect all on BT still.

    Hello

I don't very well if this is possible or if you need additional software to do this but here you can find a Toshiba Bluetooth portal that contains some HowTo and FAQ s m associated with a BT

  • BlackBerry smartphones formatting a card SDXC 64 GB in FAT32

I need help with the formatting of a map of UHS-1 64 GB sandisk adapters with my bold Blackberry 9930.  I don't see an option anywhere to format a memory card.

Hello! If you know that your BB will support a card of this size on your home screen or in a folder, click on Options, scroll down, click Device > storage press menu > Format. If you have not had a large card already in your BB, after clicking on storage, press the menu button, click Help, how-to, taken supported Media cards to the map of the maximum size that will take your BB. Also if you have already what about this card that you want to install, formatting will probably delete.

  • The editable Tecra 9100 sound card?

Can someone tell me if the sound card on the Tecra 9100 is editable? And if so, where to find a new. And how to open the laptop in order to proceed to the place of the sound card.
    Thank you, Peter (of Germany)

    Hello

I think the Tecra 9100 uses a stand-alone sound table
Yamaha YMF753 - 16-stereo sound blaster pro compatible system (WAVE und MIDI) bits
It could be removed and replaced without replacing the entire motherboard, but that part can be ordered from the Toshiba service partner.
But it looks like you don't have many experiences from these exchanges of witch.

So I recommend you to contact a technician for these replacements.

  • Tecra A8 - 103 - how to increase memory for video card?

    Hello

does anyone know how to increase the memory for the video card on my Tecra A8-103?

I've heard that I can 'take' of RAM memory and 'Add' to video memory card, but don't know how? I just live in the BIOS, but have not seen this feature?

I need, because, when I work in Visual Studio .NET and pass code for fashion design, an image disspears and I have to wait 15 to 30 seconds until :(((back what the image

Therefore, I do not think that increasing memory video card will solve this problem?

Thank you x 10 in advance

You cannot pass the VRAM chips, they are soldered to the circuit board.

On some machines, you can dynamically increase the VRAM by installing more RAM System. Enjoy reading your user manual.

  • Tecra M4: How to replace the WLAN card

    Hello
I have a Tecra M4 laptop and want to upgrade my wireless card, is this possible without opening the whole case?
Most of the NB I know have these cards below the keyboard, or behind a clean cover accessible from the rear. Tried both, found nothing.

    Thanks in advance

    Florian

    Hello Florian

I fear that you will not be able to Exchange only WLAN card. The WIFI card on this laptop model is placed on site so stupid and laptop must be disassembled. Please be careful if you want to do this alone.

To be honest you shouldn't do this without maintenance manuals. One small mistake and you can damage the sensitive plastic components inside your laptop.

Furthermore, this model Tecra a pretty good and quick WLAN card. G standard, if I remember well. I have the same card on my Tecra and data transfer is OK.

What WLAN card you want to use now?

  • Tecra 9100 and compatibility with 32-bit/3, 3V PC Cards (PCMCIA)?

I would like to increase the power of my WIFI.

The internal card supports 802.11 a standard only.

The Tecra 9100 Series is compatible with 32-bit/3, 3V-PCMCIA cards?

    Hello

According to the specifications of the computer laptop Tecra 9100 is ready WLAN and can be upgraded with standard Wi - Fi 802. 11B. I have the same WLAN card on my Tecra M1 and I'm really happy. You can buy the Wireless (PA3189U-1MPC) recommended LAN card and like to be mobile. The transfer of data is OK and you don't need a better card for this good old classic.

It is an old map and it won't be cheap. Check it out.

  • Wireless - g card causes Tecra 730CDT to hang it

I am trying to install the Wireless-G card in my Tecra 730CDT. I first changed the BIOS of the CICP in CardBus for 730CDT to recognize the card. Installation works very well and I get network and Internet connection through a wireless G router and all work perfect for 1 to 5 screens. Then, randomly, the computer freezes and must be turned off manually. I tried 2 different cards Wireless-G (Buffalo WLI-CB-G54L and D-Link DWL-G630), and both do exactly the same thing. I also tried the 2 operating systems (Windows 98SE) and Windows ME and 2 routers different Wireless-G (a Buffalo and a D-Link), with the same results. I think that the 730CDT is 32-bit CardBus, but wonder if the problem is that it really is a 16-bit Cardbus. All expertise and/or experience with that? Ideas or assumptions? Thank you... it's SO close to work it's really frustrating!

    Hi Wayne

I think you expect too much of this old notebook with just 150 CPU speed MHZ and only 16MB of RAM. I have no experience with this, but I'm sure that there are not enough CPU for this configuration.

Like you said card is recognized and working properly, but if there are difficult tasks the laptop freezes. For me it's argument this processor have no enough power and abandons everything simply.
