Impossible to uninstall Microsoft #2 miniport card
I have a computer that is running Windows XP.
I can't connect to the internet from my desktop computer. My laptop connects via the same DSL modum directly or wireless. When I open design under network adapters on the desk top manager it shows card no. 2 Microsoft Tun Miniport and a Linksys LNE 100TX (5) Fast Ethernet Adapter. #2 Microsoft Tun Miniport Adapter has a yellow exclamation mark over it. When I click on the device or the following message appears "this device cannot start. (Code 10) »
The troubleshooting guidelines suggest I have uninstall and then reinstall the Microsoft Tun Miniport adapt #2 to fix the problem, but when I try to uninstall the calculation won't and says that the device may be required to boot the computer.
Can you tell me how can I uninstall this device or do you have another suggestion on how to solve the problem.

Driver issue Microsoft Virtual Wifi Miniport Adapter (error code 31)
My map of Microsoft virtual Miniport is not up-to-date (it says this when I try to connect wirelessly to something and when I view it in Device Manager, it also has a caveat next to him) and when I went to install in Windows update, it has failed several times to install so I dropped. Now I continue to update the driver in Device Manager but he repeats to me that it is up-to-date, even if it's not! I uninstalled the software driver completely and rebooted my PC in the hope that he would install a new driver software, but it didn't, it just reinstalled the old driver software and it says that the driver software is old and not working properly.
Either way, I'm running WINDOWS 7.
Help, please! I can't even connect to the internet!
Many many thanks TylerIt worked right away:netsh wlan hostednetwork stopnetsh wlan set hostednetwork mode = deny -

Hi MAGIC,
It seems that you may need to update your BIOS firmware.
You may need to contact Samsung for more information, if the update is available for download on their Web site.
When started this issue is happening?
You can disable the virtual WiFi adapter, as it essentially works as a tool of development at the moment:

does anyone know how to fix Microsoft virtual WiFI miniport adapter has adriver problem

Control Panel - Device Manager:
You can double-click it - tab drivers - DISABLE (that is if you do not use this feature).
You may not have that unless you try to connect to other WiFi devices via your computer and

(Which is also updating the driver virtual.) If no new drivers WiFi are available then re - install the present

version - click the driver update (cannot do something that MS is far behind the pilots of certification). Then
Right click on the Wifi device and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will refresh the driver stack.Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
each installation.Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

My virtual miniport card wi fi a driver problem, when I trouble shoot it said windows cannot reinstall pilot 31 code. And the filter of my keyboard doesn't have a driver! It is a laptop brand new which had no problem a few days ago.
Restore point:
http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/
Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.
Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.
Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...
Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And don't forget, it is under warranty.
See you soon.
