  Like drago mentioned, there are file BT and WiFi, sharing applications on the market, but they don't allow you to share an Internet connection. You need to attach or a WiFi area reactive on the device of source of data (your Razr phone in this case) to enable connection sharing. In fact, I have a Razr phone Droid myself (provided by my company) and three tablets, including the Xoom FE. Since my company has their own data plan, they allowed the reactive capacity of Droid Razr so I can connect the Xoom FE when I use it for business purposes (for example presentations customer, site travel sellers, etc..). It's the only legitimate (and legal) way to share the data between devices phone plan.

• Satellite P200 1EE problems with playback HD video and USB ports

  I bought the laptop Satellite P200-1EE dixons for and I'm happy with it in many ways, but the main reason I bought the 1EE P200 was because of its potential to play and edit the video high defintion.

  I can't seem to play or watch video clips high definition without them being clumsy and with a frequency of images at 3 frames per second, and not the 30 frames per second, he must turn.

  To be honest you message confuses me.
  The recorded movies (.mov files) are not format true high definition as in movies on HD DVD or Blue ray!

  I think you need to convert these files first in a format mpeg mov or avi format and then you can try to play with ordinary players like WMP, Real player, etc.

  You can solve 1) by selecting the tab control 3 integers on the façade. This means:

  Softwareparts fusion is never easy if there is no dedicated interface or the parties can be transferred to the original architecture (which would be the copy & paste or Drag 'n' drop...).

  If this does not work, try a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.  If the problem goes away then it's just a matter of tracking down the culprit at the origin of the problem.   Follow the procedures described in the article.  Once found, remove, delete, disable or uninstall.  Once remember to put Vista in normal status, as described in the procedures. If the problem occurs in clean mode then just restore the system to normal and reboot - this solution will not work.

Insert the number of KB to get updates on the right and choose the one corresponding to your version of Vista:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/default.aspx.  If the error persists, temporariliy disable UAChttp://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/disable-user-account-control-uac-the-easy-way-on-windows-vista/ and your security software and try again and see if that helps.  If this isn't the case, re-enable the programs before you continue.

  Follow these steps.

  Go to Start | Settings | Control Panel and double click on automatic updates. I'll explain why later.

  Then, tick the option at the bottom to turn off automatic updates, and then click apply/OK.

  Then, go to start, run, copy and paste this command and click OK: services.msc

  In the list of Services, you can see Background Intelligent Transfer Service ?

  I'm a new 5 5 d Mark iii owner.   I am wanting to get good shots of my nephew play basketball.  Any suggestions on preferred to get clear shots.  Thank you!

  Here is a description of how to get your camera in a mode where it is optimized for basketball.  But before you go shoot a... practice game get all these settings dialed in and go do some shooting test for you ensure that you are comfortable with the way it all works.  If you want to learn the game you might lack-shots more simply because you are not yet used to the works of the camera when shooting sports.

  IS owning an EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L USM II will certainly help (if you do not have the one of them already, put it on your wish list.  Everyone has this lens... or wants this goal.  It is not even of importance if you pull the sport - it is the goal of goto used by a lot of wedding and portrait photographers, and it is also the goal for indoor sports such as basketball.)  I have the original (version I) of this lens and it is the lens that lives on my camera all the time.

  You probably want to use mode AF 6 cases (this is the recommended Canon for basketball - auto focus tracking mode although they also offer 4 cases).

  Since you specifically want to follow your nephew and do not pull on any player, you might want to settle out of the 'sensibility' - this features determines how much the camera prefer to stick to a single topic vs pass and start tracking on a different topic.  The default value of the 6A box followed the sensitivity in the Middle at the level of the marker "0".    If you want the camera to stick to your subject and not be so willing to move to a new topic then you might want to disable tune elsewhere up to-1.   To do this:

  1. Press MENU
  2. Go to page 1 (of 5 possible pages of AF settings in the system menu) FA
  3. Access to the rear of select respectively 6 (the last case on the list), then press the SET button to select.
  4. Press RATE button to allow a custom setting.
  5. Use the back line to select "Tracking Sensitivity" (top choice - it can be highlighted by default because it is the first choice) and press SET to select.
  6. Use the rear wheel - and turn it in the opposite direction with a click to '-1' (to facilitate your stay ' locked on ' more 'reactive' - sensitive would cause him to jumpt to a new material more easily).  Press SET to lock in this change.
  7. Press MENU repeatedly to exit the menu system.

  When the AF point selection menu is displayed on the back of the camera, press the M - Fn button (next to the shutter button on the top front of the camera) and this will cause its making scroll all the AF point selection modes available.  Mode "Auto selection: 61 pt AF" (which means the camera can use ANY point he wants.

  One caveat... If for some reason you cannot take this mode... There is a menu that allows you to toggle modes.  If there is a way you think that you'd never use (some photographers simply toggle between two modes favorite all the time), you can turn off the ones you don't use.  If you have done this, then the mode you use could be disabled and you will need to reactivate this mode.)

  NOW you are ready to shoot... but there are two caveats more you need to know.

  #1 when you use the update of "AI Servo" mode, the unit also uses a behavior called "release priority".  Normally, your camera is in 'One Shot mode "that uses"Priority Focus"and that means that the camera will not take a shot until it can confirm a focus lock.  But in "Release priority" behavior the camera WILL TAKE the shot as SOON as you press the shutter button (shutter reelease) all down... and they're going to do it whether OR NOT IT WAS CENTERED!  If you need to make sure that the device locked focus and keeps track of your subject before press you the button completely or you will get just a lot of blurry photos.

  #2--while the camera CAN use a 61 point AF in this mode... you will notice that when you put the viewfinder of the camera to your eye and half-press the shutter release button that you do not see a point AF (black square).  This is the point where the camera guess he'll START tracking your subject.  But since you have an automatic case followed enabled, it will "follow" your subject moving.  If you lose the subject, you must give this starting point on your topic to gain focus again on them.    BTW, you can choose any desired starting point.  As you look through the viewfinder, place your thumb on the browser of 8 channels (the small joystick controlled by your thumb just above the line back) and you will see you can rock up, down, left, right, etc. and the black square will go where you want (well... one of the 61 points AF.)

  Don't be afraid to crank the ISO... the 5 d III can take it.  I think nothing of shooting at ISO 3200 and 6400 ISO same... While there is a bit of noise at ISO 6400, it is EASILY treated in post processing because it's going to be noise rather moderate.

  Since you want to freeze action (you won't see the motion blur on your subjects) you'll want to keep the high shutter speed.

  1/500th sec is generally fast enough to freeze most of the topics, but you might see * some * blur of movement at that speed... He sneak a little higher upward will be useful (e.g. 1/800th or even 1/1000th).

  I second the recommendation to pull using Tv mode and set the shutter speed to 1/800th and use Auto ISO.   But... check the menu system for camera red page 2 (camera red tab... page 2 of 4 possible pages).  There is a 'ISO speed settings' option in this menu.  Please select this option and check "Auto ISO range".  I think it will be set to '100-12800' by default and that's fine.  But it is possible to reduce it... photographers who never want to shoot any ISO above at some point (for example assume that you never leave the Auto ISO to choose a frame above 1600) could set it to a low value that is too high for your interior lighting of basketball.   Just make sure that the camera is not permitted to mount the ISO when it should.

  Adobe Lightroom has an option of noise reduction very good (which is strange because the noise reduction in Photoshop is a dismal failure.  If you use Photoshop full I rely on a plugin noise reduction called 'Noiseware Pro' by Imagenomic.)

  Finally, there is an option called "button"return"focus" which like a lot of sports photographers.  It's practically a necessity before Canon started producing cameras with their new RIR system (it's tracking system smart topics to follow.).  The problem with old cameras was that in order to take a (full press the shutter button) you have to half press the shutter and focus WHICH triggered.  So if you follow an athlete and someone else gets in the way, the focus system normally developed to this distracting subject and not the subject.    So they released a feature called back focus button, which sets the focus to a "back" button (by default, this is the AF-ON button on a 5 d III, but it can be reassigned.)  This allows to take focus on the shutter button (half-pressing the shutter button will be 'meter' but won't focus.  A full press will still take the hit, but to focus the camera, you press the AF-ON button).  This allows you to keep an eye on distractions and take your thumb on the AF-ON button (if the camera stops the update from the update) until the distraction gets out of the frame and then you can continue to focus on your subject again.    You CAN activate this feautre if you wish (it is disabled by default).  It grows some nuts people... but some people who stick with it and get used to shoot ever sport otherwise.

  Hi, I recently bought a new Hitachi 1 TB internal hard drive. I wanted to do a clean install on the new drive (d), be able to dual boot my computer and leave my old 300 GB disk (C :) as the primary windows installation. After physically installing the new HARD drive, I noticed that "new hardware found" and the the brand name flashed in the bottom right corner. I thought I'd see the new hard drive in my computer, but I did not. I initialized the new HARD drive with the computer management window (right click on my computer - manage) and I also formatted in NTFS (I had to change my printer hard drive letter to assign the new HARD drive with the letter D, but I've made other changes after this step). Now, I could see and use in my main windows on the C: installation. I then installed a windows new copy XP pro with the installation CD I got for my C: but on the D: (Note: I have a Dell computer (and the Dell reinstallation CD) and my current version of windows has SP3 while the installation CD is only SP2) (I also reformatted my HARD drive during the installation of windows to NTFS)

  Now when I try to start on installing the new on my D: I get "Windows did not start because of a configuration of the disk of the computer problem. Could not read the selected boot disk. Check startup disk and hardware access path. "and another line saying to refer to manuals HARD drive and windows.

  My Boot.ini file at this time was:

  Edit: I also noted that I can't see my new HARD drive in my BIOS... weird... SATA-0 is my old drive HARD 1 and 2 are my dvd 3-5 readers are 'off' and it doesn't seem to be anything that it is plugged in. I also have 4 bays for internal HARD disks. Now, 2 are busy.

  Edit2: I looked inside my case and enabled the good Sata in the Bios after a reboot it detected the drive correctly. Dual boot doesn't always work well... The fact that it was disable in the BIOS while I was installing the new HARD drive could change anything? Hmm...

  In case I wasn't clear enough: I had a windows XP Pro installed on my C:, bought a new hard drive and installed the same copy of windows on it (d). I think that should allow me to double boot between the two installs different. Even if for some reason I can't boot from one on my D:. Andrew, I do not understand why you so far physically disconnect the other drive, the point of the whole operation is to build a boot.ini file so that the BIOS knows that it y facilities 2 windows and you allow to choose (and not have conflicting problems between the 2 systems), someone correct me if I'm wrong? It's too tedious (as I intend to move frequently between the 2 installs) and requires a computer to other users of the lack of computer knowledge. Unfortunately, it is not a viable option.

  EDIT: I DID IT! Hmmm... Well, I double checked in the recovery console, the path of the new HARD drive with the arc command Scan. Tried to start again with the MULTI (0) in my boot.ini and it worked... I also had my windows install CD in. Maybe that is why I could not start, windows needs the CD to complete the installation? Weird, I don't know what I did to the difficulty it... but hey, it works! Thanks for your ideas guys!

• My toolbar disappeared sizing!

  My toolbar that you can resize things simply disappeared after installing a windows update.  I'm not sure that I call in the right name, but it was located in the area of the volume & clock.  You can change the size to 100%, 125%, 50%, etc...  I tried to right click in the box and looked under all the titles listed as properties, toolbars, etc... and I can't find what I need.

  My volume toolbar also disappeared and then magically reappeared again.  Don't know how it happened, but it's ok now.  But I need to resize the pages on various Web sites.  The type is too small!

  Someone can help me.  I'm not computer so please use language I can understand.

  It depends on what program you use.  But since you said websites, I will assume that you are using Internet Explorer.  So in this case, to enable it, follow these steps:

  1. Press Alt to display the menu bar, and then choose View > toolbars > status bar.

  I can do when I'm trying to download the video corder cam panasonic HDD. Whenever I go to some video and am trying to download to my hard drive I get the blue screen every time.

  If a PC remove ALL power and reinstall the cards memory and cables (at both ends where possible)

• PowerConnect 6200 ACL does not seem to work

  I have a total of four 6248 s two groups at different locations that are configured with VRRP + OSPF.  I tried to set up a simple ACL on either a VLAN to allow a portion of the traffic and block everything else, but I can't make it work.  I have tried many combinations to try to get this working, but so far without success.  It's just a simple ACL, which should allow the web/http traffic on the 10.1.30.100 server and blocks everything else.

  The only type of ACE that seem to work are either a "deny ip any any" or "permit ip any any" If you try an ACE with a destination host and subnet mask 0.0.0.0 it's just all this blocking.  Has anyone else had problems of the ACL or is it just my incompetence in preventing me from getting the 6200 ACL work properly?  I didn't have this problem, get the ACL list to work on our Cisco 2811 routers, just at the moment where I tried on the PC6248s.

  Just an update on this issue.  I worked with Dell to determine why the ACL does not seem to work.  We discovered that the 6200 apply ACL to the traffic as a VLAN ACL Cisco card as opposed to a router ACL entry.  This causes the ACL to apply to not only routed or transferred but also traffic switched in the same VLAN.

  This has been the source of my problems that my traffic is not limited to a single 6200.  I developed a simple laboratory to check that the 6200 applied traffic switched in the same VLAN ACL.

  First the 6200 has one ACL applied to VLAN5 both PC1 and PC2 are in VLAN 5.  They are both on the same subnet 192.168.5.0/24.  The ACL has a statement of "permit icmp any one" but nothing else.  The PC1 and PC2 are running Windows XP Pro with IIS is installed for the test.  The firewall on both is disabled.

  In this scenario PC1 and PC2 can ping each other without problem because of the permit icmp any any statement, but you cannot access the IIS site on each of the other computers.

  Dell said that this is normal and if you want communication VLAN VLAN you 'license ip ' to make it work properly.  I also found that traffic back from other VLANs were also denied because of the ACL applied on all of the incoming traffic.  As a solution, the license statement should be included for ALL traffic back to the limited subnet other subnets.  So in this case "ip enable any ".

  I find it a bit annoying that ACL is applied in the form of maps of VLAN not like real incoming router ACL as they are on similar Cisco devices as the 3750.  So there is a work around.  I hope they can solve the problem in a future update, because I really think that the 6200 is a great device.

• BlackBerry smartphones can not sync contacts

  I created a second e-mail on my Storm which is a gmail account.  When I put in place, it synced my contacts and added to g-mail account (which I didn't).  Now, I can't sync my list of contacts with my Outlook through Desktop Manager.  I tried to remove the g-mail account, but it still wouldn't work with Outlook.  I added the g-mail account, but now, it will not synchronize with this account either.  When I try to configure for wireless synchronization, it is said that it is "not available" and won't let me change this option.  Help!  How to return to the synchronization with Outlook.

  If I bring up the menu of options for the list of contacts, it lists my account gmail for contacts list - it doesn't list my normal mail.

  Is there an any hope come back in synchronization with the Desktop Manager?  If this is not the case, how enable wireless synchronization so that it can sync with the gmail account.

  Hello and welcome. In the settings of the e-mail from the Office Manager, under synchronization options, you will find the list of e-mail accounts to synchronize with. Make sure that it is set to outlook contacts. Maybe that's the problem.

  This model comes with a built-in video chip. I've updated the video to a GeForce GT430S1 so I can connect my PC to my new TV via HDMI, which disables the integrated system. Now I have no sound anywhere and I cannot locate the integrated system.  Why did I lost my sound? Help, please.

  Tap away at f10 you start the PC to enter the Bios Menu - see if the Onboard Audio option is showing that off and if this is the case, re - enable.  Remember to save the changes before exiting the bios.

• Signature field and submit button does not

  I've recently upgraded to LiveCycle Designer ES2 and problems with certain features.  I created a form with 3 fields of signature and a send button for the final signatory to email on the back of the form.  None of the signature fields works; or not the submit button.  I did everything the same as I had in the previous version of the software.  However, it seems that there are a few changes that I know.  I read about locking objects, but got a little confused.  Can someone tell me (in very lay terms) what I need to do to get these functions work?
