case left on the cs6 upgrade Office

I have a folder called Adobe CS6, within which is a Photoshop within which are two pdf files and a folder more called Adobe CS6, within which are four folders: deployment, packages, payloads, resources and a file Set - up.exe

What is this file? Why is it on my desktop instead of in the more usual programs folder on the C drive? How can I move it to the folder Adobe less visible on my C drive without altering the function of the CS6.

What is the file-up.exe and that he put in place? Bridge, perhaps?

When you download the CS6 package on our website, download the 2 files - 1 with the .7z extension and the other an .exe file.

The .7z file is a zipped compressed folder with all files and records required for installation and the .exe is just an extractor used to extract these files.

These extracted files go to a folder created on the desktop that you are talking about. The installation will open by invoking the 'setup.exe' file in this folder.

You can delete this folder or archive it in case you need to install the software at a later date.

In case the need arises, all you need to do is run the "setup.exe" file and it would start installing CS6.

Delete this folder would in no way prejudice CS6 function.

  • Keyboard shortcuts in Audition 3 like shuttle/Transport/right and left of the CS6

    I can't find a way to emulate the keys of J K L video editors (shuttle left, stop, right shuttle) in Adobe Audition 3.

    Video editors rest their fingers on the keys J, K and L. Pressing L plays normally, pressing play faster, and a third plays faster still. Same thing with the J key in direction opposite.

    In hearing CS6, they are called shuttle right and left of the shuttle. I tried all the settings control Transport play AA3 with no luck.

    I remember this problem long ago at the Audition 1.5 so it MUST be a way to do this in 3.0!

    Any tips?

    You can assign keyboard shortcuts in the AA 1.5 and 3. What you had selected as keyboard shortcuts in 1.5 should be reproducible in 3. However in both versions can bring you several taps the FF or RW keys increase the speed as in CS6. Depending on which version of FF and RW you assign to the McLaggen and L keys, you can either start at a fixed speed or get faster if you press and hold for more long.

    I am trying to install CS6 Design Premium (via CD) and CS5. However, I am denied installation because my serial number CS5 is not allowed (it seems that I have CS5.5).  All telephone lines are engaged. As well as the frustration, this would seem a very poor 'stealth' thing. I have countless copies of Adobe registered that goes back years and saw no warning about this prior to purchasing. Is the installation of CS5 impossible?

    Phew! I took your advice and after falling much of the telephone connection, I was able to talk to Prashant (representative of service Adobe in India) who was able to take create a number of (temporary) support to type me in the registration through the challenge code procedure dialog. That appeared to circumvent the problem of list drop-down registration and therefore allowed me to register... Finally!

    In hindsight, I am very grateful for your help and my chance to talk to Prashant who manages to solve the problem over the phone. However I suspect that this problem can happen to others and the solution seems far from easy phone queues when a long time ago and dropped connections add the tortuous mine field of which is simply a registration process!

    The CS6 installer will ask the CS6 serial number and will recognize that this is an upgrade. He then ask you to enter a serial number for a longer early version. Enter your serial number CS5 and CS6 will complete the installation.
