  After the announcement yesterday, all of a sudden today, in Windows Update, there is a new driver PCL 6, Microsoft Update. I had to uninstall the printer in order to obtain this update to install. After this update, the shared property now would allow me to install the x 86 drivers. This update was not there yesterday, got to admit that Microsoft has acted quickly on this one.

  Everything worked well on JDE 4.2. Then I installed JDE 4.5 and compiled my project to use it. But when I ask signature now it says "Code signing request failed because xxxxxxxxxx customer ID is not in the database for authorization.

• Locator GPS not finding the right place

  I have a few days ago, I noticed that my Groupon app showed me on the beach in Santa Cruz, CA. It would be nice, but my phone and I were actually North of Dallas, TX. Yesterday, it happened again, this time a rental program showed me still in CA. I called AT & T and they reset 'something' and everything was good until late at night. I was in CA. As of today, Google displays NOW that I'm in Santa Cruz, like life 360 (a follow-up program), as well as IMDB and 4Square. Anyone with some localization issues and how to fix this? I wasn't out of my country in a week or two, is not a memory problem.

  So far, I have disabled my location options, stop and reverse without change.

  I don't have the developers the options enabled, but I could see that the location allows to simulate is not checked.

  I just finish the phone off, remove the card sim, expectation, reinsert and power by your suggestion...

  Looks like that may have fixed! I'm a little skeptical because it worked for a short time yesterday, after AT & T reset something too. I'll post again if it brings back me to another location.

• Customer service does not meet the United States relative to the Compact Z3 repair

  Hello and happy new year!  I was wondering if anyone has experience with sending in a Compact Z3 for repair/replacement under warranty in the United States.  I live chatted and called several times and I can't get any information on the status of my repair or when I get my phone back.  I wonder if you guys could get some advice on what to do next.

  My Z3 Compact suddenly started having battery problems (first similar to this: http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-Z3-Compact/Battery-levels-jumping-randomly-and-not-charging/td-... and then it stuck at 50% and no loading or unloading).  My phone is under warranty until 2017, so I called, got an RMA number and sent him into their repair center in Laredo, Texas.  He arrived on 12/14, and here's the problem: no one can give me an update as to what is happening.  Many cats live and e-mail gave no information.  After a week, I called their customer service line and they said he was being sent to a Manager, who was supposed to send me an email in the next 24 to 48 hours, but didn't.  After the second week, I called again, and it's the same thing (promised an email of a Manager, who I have not received).

  I was told at the beginning that since my phone is an international model, they may have to order parts and could not give me an ETA, but they said that most of the repairs are completed within 14 working days.  They had my phone for at least 10 working days now (and 2.5 weeks in total), and I really should hear a kind of update now.  I'm trying to be patient because it's the holidays and I'm sure their technicians to repair a bit of time off the coast, but some communication would be the bare minimum of acceptable customer service.  At the very least, if Sony does not include automatic updates, I should be able to get some info by calling, instead of this ridiculous evasive.

  What else can I do to get information on the status of my claim?

  I feel your pain. I had a similar lack of information when the screen back of my cracked Z3C randomly after 3 days of property. He was sent to Laredo. I never had an update... called at least twice to get an update and told me I would soon receive a response and how if yes or no the repair would be covered by the warranty.

  Two weeks past, and all of a sudden I get a box from Sony with my phone repaired on the inside. No updates, no notification, no nothing.

  TL, DR: expecting anything near decent service communication or client with this Sony repair center is little more dreaming.

  Operations that use "Public BulkEventResult run (long arg0, long arg1, arg2 BulkOrchestration)"? --> Updates block as if you select more than 1 user in the advanced search and select the bulk edit options.  Also the reconciliation events to use it even if it is a single user.

  Operations that use "Public EventResult run (long processId, long eventId, orchestration of the Orchestration)"? --> Put attributes through the user interface when you save a user.

• VMware vCenter Server, 4.1.0: resources for customizing Windows were not on the server.

  By using the vSphere Client, I created a customization of comments with 'Virtual Machine OS target' = "Windows".

  Then I tried to deploy a virtual machine from a Windows model. In the model "deploy" dialog box, in the "Guest" Customization screen, the 'customize using an existing customization specification' is grayed out and disabled and I see the following warning:
  Resources of Windows customization on the server have not been found.
  Why am I unable to use the comments Windows customization that I created?
  I am running: VMware vCenter Server, 4.1.0 345043 on Windows Server 2008 R2
  According to the VMware Knowledge Base system, preparation tools are integrated into the Windows Server 2008 R2 operating system and do not have to be downloaded
  Can someone help me solve this problem?

I also inject dao via the property in faces - config.xml, but I do not see the method is called, even if it's public. So I get a NullPointerException on the validate method. What I am doing wrong?

  I expect 'property-class' classname real being with a complete package of your DAO. It is not a managed bean named "theDAO" JSF, so you can't inject. But why not just build in your support bean, I wonder?

  If it's really a JSF managed bean somehow, you would inject it like this:

• Upgrade PE6 to PE10 - cannot find my catalog of custom location

  I want to update my installation to PE10 PE6.  I have a Windows 7 computer.  I downloaded the trial version of PE10 to check it out.  However, this test cannot find my catalog of location PE10 customized with all my photos!  When I click on search-> catalog and choose the custom location, then navigate to where is my catalog, there is no choice displayed for me to choose.  I tried the Convert button - no help.

  I thought about my catalog penetrating to the default location in Windows 7 to see if it makes a difference, but it seems that if I move catalog this 'thing' moves not only my catalog, but also my 50 GB of image files.  I'd rather not do that - I don't want image files moved.

  Anyone know why I can't connect to my catalog of custom location?

  Well, I'm running on PE10!   I was beginning to think that being on trial was the problem.  So, I bought the upgrade to PE10.  However, it does not solve the problem.  Finally I came across the 10 EP release notes, and who had a connection with the issues of catalogue.  And then he said that I might have to check 'Show previously converted catalogs' when converting.  It's not logical because I didn't have all the conversions on any catalogs, I was trying to find (at this time I had 5-6 copies littered my computer).  However, this seemed to be the thing.  With this, I could find custom catalogs to convert and then, once converted, they appear in Catalog Manager.  (Its also possible the trial version may have played a role.  I don't remember if I tried "To show previously converted catalogs" in the last two weeks.)

  What location opens hot link, PLACE BAR IS EMPTY. Select history to make it appear.

  Location IS NOT UNDER the 'Window' menu (some do; "show more"Mozilla Firefox").

  First tab in the window SHOWS ONLY a '+', then when additional tabs are open, you cannot navigate back to the first tab except by closing all others.

  Very rude behavior.

  I had already tried to turn off all plugins and deleting of plist file. No change.

  Your tip has led me to "help: Troubleshooting Information: Reset Firefox" which seems to have worked.

• Catalogues of PSE 5 suite recovery disc replacement

  I had to have our hard drive replaced.

  Unfortunately, we had a number of catalogs that had not been backed up. (No comments please)

  I've re-created the structure of files and so to put all photos back in the right place.

  I seem to have 2 directories relevant catalogue being

  ............. Adobe\Catalog Folders\My catalog

  ............. Adobe\Catalogs

  After reloading PSE 5, copy the old psa files to the location appropriate (i.e. where the my default catalog file is)?

  (That is Adobe\Catalogs)

  Or do I have to get the contents of these two directories?

  It does not matter where you put the .psa catalogues. Put them anywhere and double-click them

• Adding a custom location backup

  Is it possible that I can add my own save in location?  It's a pain to have to navigate to the folder of the computer in my own project file every time.  It would speed up my work without end if there was a way to do this?

  What application you want this for? Sometimes, it may be possible to put this under settings of this application.

  In general (I assume that you need at least Professional edition) you can also try this: press the Windows key + R > type gpedit.msc and press enter > User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows components > Windows Explorer > Common Open File Dialog > click twice on the items displayed in the Favorites bar > select active , then specify your custom location.

• File name of the Image displayed in PSE 8 does not match the file path name in Windows 7

  I recently got a new computer. I've updated on my computer Windows XP of PSE 5.0 to 8.0 PSE.  Then, I moved my files to the new computer that is running Windows 7, following the instructions that I have received on a previous post.  I copied the catalog file and the image files on the C drive of the old computer to the new computer (file catalog to the specified location in the information system;  images of my images).   Everything seems to have worked beautifully without having to go through a great struggle to reconnect.  The organzer seems to have found all of the images and I can put them in the editor as well.  However, when I look at the properties of a given image displayed full file name is that it was on XP: C:\Documents and Settings\ < username > \My Documents\My Pictures\ < folder name >-< Filename > rather than the path as it is in Windows 7, i.e. C:\Users\ < username > \My Pictures\ < file name >-< Filename >.  I am new to Windows 7 then maybe miss me something unique to Windows 7 but I'd like information.

  You are using the alias of the special folder that Vista and Windows 7 create to maintain backward compatibility (Microsoft continues to change how and where are stored the documents of users).   On Windows 7:

  C:\Documents and Settings\\My Documents\My photos

  is a special type of alias in the file:

  C:\Users\\Pictures

  (AndC:\Users \My Pictures is yet another kind of Windows 7 special alias, a 'library', which includes the folder C:\Users\Pictures.)

  Whenever an application like PES refers to the old location, C:\Documents and Settings\\My Documents\My photos, Windows that automatically converts backstage in C:\Users\\Pictures.   But Windows Explorer is configured to prevent you to access C:\Documents and Settings\ interactively - only programs like PES are able to do.  Microsoft wants users of Windows Explorer to always use the name of 'new', C:\Users\\Pictures.

  In your case, your catalog contained the old paths of XP folder, and Windows is automatically translate on the fly for new paths, unbeknownst to PSE.

  Like most of the backward compatibility hacks, this does not work perfectly.  PSE believe that the old road and new road are two completely different cases.  I'm not positive, but I think that there are opportunities for PSE to get confused by that.   When you import new pictures, they get recorded in the Catalog under the new folder paths.

  In my previous recommendation about how to move to the new computer, I had assumed you would probably change user names and locations of photo and so you would have to make a reconnection, and you would not have met it.  If I thought that you were not have need to reconnect, I would have recommended not not using this method, but rather using Backup/Restore (my first recommended method) - my bad.

  It would be nice if your current catalog and the PES works pretty well.   But there is at least a small risk that the road of PSE will get confused by old and new folder names.  The best way to avoid this would be to start again and use the backup/restore method to move your catalogue, which is more effort on your part.  But because I do not understand the risk, I can't tell you if you should be worried about it.   No doubt do tests: editing, import and edition of new photos, use view > view of the location of the folder, try to rename and move the old photos and the new folders, try the Photo Downloader, etc.

• Custom pages OAF does not not in the R 12.2.4 upgrade

  We are upgrading to R R 11.5.10.2 12.2.4. We have copied our instance of generation of Production and improved to R 12.2.24. Now, there is a problem with the custom pages OAF. It seems that the custom java class files are not get covered by the application.

  Since it is the body build, I am applying custom patch directly in the file system to run (fs1) and I am getting below error while executing one of the custom of the OPS page:

  oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: could not create Java class: (oracle.apps.xxfe.f486.asn.lead.webui. ASNLeadQryCOEx) associated with the area: (ASNLeadQryRN). It is probably because the class name is incorrect or not included in the project.

  I think that it is simply saying that it couldn't find the java class. But I checked in the system as indicated below, the class files are roughly:

  I've heard that it takes run the utility adcgnjar and when I tried, I got the message below:

  Generation customall.jar...

  Do not create custom not customall.jar like no java directory under JAVA_TOP.

  Maybe it's because the location of the custom folder which is$JAVA_TOP/oracle/apps/xxfe

  I also tried to install these custom features of the OPS in online marking (as per my understanding following the features of online marking is not required (this is just an instance of generation) so earlier I had installed directly in the file system to run). But in following mode of patch, I had some error in ADOPTION (prepare) as below:

  I could solve this problem. I am writing the solution that worked for reference:

  1. When the custom java files are placed in one of the shipped Oracle directories of the application (for example $JAVA_TOP/oracle/apps/fnd, $JAVA_TOP/oracle/apps/ad, etc) then the creation of custom jar file is not necessary.
  1. When the custom java files are placed in $JAVA_TOP // and then run the utility adcgnjar.
  1. Deploy customizations that are created in the package. oracle.apps.xxprod * and no xxprod.oracle.apps. * or xxprod.oracle.apps.xxprod. * on EBS 12.2.X?

  It was our case because we have a custom directory under $JAVA_TOP/oracle/apps/xxfe

  When the custom java files are placed in any other non-standard location (for example $JAVA_TOP/oracle /, $JAVA_TOP/oracle/java / etc) then custom jar file must be created manually and must be made available for WebLogic to pick it up.

  Detailed instructions are given below:

  Create a temporary custom.zip file that contains the entire application customized to the non-standard location directories/files:

  (1) cd $JAVA_TOP

  (2) zip r - customprod.zip. Where the list of all directory paths are present, compared to $JAVA_TOP for the custom to the non-standard location application java files.

  Generate customprod.jar file & sign 3).

  Command: adjava oracle.apps.ad.jri.adjmx - areas $JAVA_TOP/customprod.zip - outputFile $JAVA_TOP / customprod.jar - jar $CONTEXT_NAME 1 CUST jarsigner - storePass - keyPass

  (4) delete temporary customprod.zip.

  Command: rm $JAVA_TOP/customprod.zip

  (5) follow the steps below to allow the custom WebLogic jar

  (a) to take a backup copy of the existing /admin/template/ebsProductManifest_xml.tmp

  (b) modify /admin/template/ebsProductManifest_xml.tmp to add the customprod.jar (after customall.jar)

  (c) execute AutoConfig

  (d) bounce midrange services

  I configured UCM correctly for my portal application by creating the connection of content in my application resources repository.

  Our Center web version: 11.1.1.8

  Impossible to recover the file. The dynamic application file is not at the specified location ('/ l01/oracle/middleware/user_projects/domains/Webcntr_domain/ucm/cs/weblayout/resources/wcm/custom/sitestudio/contentwizard/webcenter/contentwizard.hcsp ').

  That's what I did

  In one of my portal page I added the content presenter by entering mode(ctrl+shift+e) contribution and in content configuration presenter window, when I clicked on the button "create Web content".

  It take me to my window to center of oracle and survey web content the above error. Here's the URL that I have in my browser

And content of oracle web Center (UCM), I can learn all the definitions xml for these items. But if I want to change their definitions in the site studio, I do not get is it possible to see all the definitions element or definitions of region I created previously. is this kind of bug in 11.1.1.8? Since I was not facing this problem in 11.1.1.6.

  WebCenterConfigure component of the Complutense University of MADRID is responsible for the creation of the contentwizard.hcsp in the folder you specified. Please check if it is enabled, or you will need to reset it.

  In any case no problem of migration, if WebCenterConfigure been activated before it doesn't have an impact, of the contentwizard.hcsp.
