• Adding a custom under the test Configuration profile

  In older versions of PS, if I added a custom format to test profile, it should be pinned to the Format menu to test (and the default profile).  That does not happen in PS CS6.

  Is there a specific place, I need to save profiles customized evidence so that they appear in the menu?

• Upgrade PE6 to PE10 - cannot find my catalog of custom location

  I want to update my installation to PE10 PE6.  I have a Windows 7 computer.  I downloaded the trial version of PE10 to check it out.  However, this test cannot find my catalog of location PE10 customized with all my photos!  When I click on search-> catalog and choose the custom location, then navigate to where is my catalog, there is no choice displayed for me to choose.  I tried the Convert button - no help.

  I thought about my catalog penetrating to the default location in Windows 7 to see if it makes a difference, but it seems that if I move catalog this 'thing' moves not only my catalog, but also my 50 GB of image files.  I'd rather not do that - I don't want image files moved.

  Anyone know why I can't connect to my catalog of custom location?

  Well, I'm running on PE10!   I was beginning to think that being on trial was the problem.  So, I bought the upgrade to PE10.  However, it does not solve the problem.  Finally I came across the 10 EP release notes, and who had a connection with the issues of catalogue.  And then he said that I might have to check 'Show previously converted catalogs' when converting.  It's not logical because I didn't have all the conversions on any catalogs, I was trying to find (at this time I had 5-6 copies littered my computer).  However, this seemed to be the thing.  With this, I could find custom catalogs to convert and then, once converted, they appear in Catalog Manager.  (Its also possible the trial version may have played a role.  I don't remember if I tried "To show previously converted catalogs" in the last two weeks.)

• Custom location markers MapField will not Center

  Hi all

  I am facing a problem where the location for my custom MapField (OS 5.0) markers are not perfectly centered on the map. Instead, they always appear in the same place, which is a little lower and more to the right of the Center.

  I use the method object of my MapField custom to draw markers.  Can we see what might be the culprit?  Thank you!

  I think I know what is happening here. Will do my best to explain.

  Assume that your brand image is of size 10 x 10. And the size of your device screen 480 x 360. Now, you want to put the marker in the center of the screen that will be (240 180) in our case. Now, when you call the drawbitmap, you will be probably development of marker (0,0) to (240 160) screen image. Method of painting will start shooting your bitmap of this point.

  To center the image of marker perfectly on (240 160), it must be placed on (235 155). Here I subtracted (marker.width/2, marker.height/2) from the center point. In our example, the marker is 10 x 10. So you get (240 160) - (5.5) = (235, 155)

  In the code you prob you have to do something like that.

  int markerX = point.x - bitmap.getWidth () / 2;
  int markerY = point.y - bitmap.getHeight () / 2;
  graphics.drawBitmap (markerX, markerY, bitmap.getWidth (), bitmap.getHeight (), bitmap, 0, 0);

  I hope that this is the only problem.

  It does not transfer the contacts, but you can easily re - sync those if you used the option to connect to Windows Live Mail.

• Where a bookmark, I added in iOS located on my PC?

  When I add a bookmark in the iOS, it is located in the root directory, same place as bookmarks in office is located. I want to know where the bookmark is located on my PC so I can drop in the right place. If I can't learn to find in the PC, I can't keep my bookmarks synchronized desktop and iOS.

  The bookmarks saved in Firefox for iOS are still not synchronized on the desktop. They are working on adding this feature in a future release.

• Catalogue of PSE 8 in custom location, is not on the list of catalog

  I'm trying to help a client to recover from a computer problem. She was to have several types of problems with his PC a couple of months. PSE 8 seemed to work okay at the time, and my memory tells me I Reconnected all the missing files (if there are any), repaired and optimized, as is my habit. I then did a full backup on an external drive. She had then his son fix his computer somehow form. He lives out of State. I got a call, and she said that she was ready for me to get his PSE 8 operational return.

  When I arrived, we discovered that she had not the PSE 8 CD. She bought it online from Adobe, but never copied to CD, etc. We decided she would buy 10 PSE and download it. I don't had never downloaded it not through the Adobe Store and was totally shocked to find it was a download of three hours. Other files too large, I downloaded Adobe would have taken 20-30 min. While it was downloading I even went hoe and started the download on my internet connection. He would have had an equal amount of time. Sorry, I've lost.

  After 10 of PSE, we installed, I made a restore of the backup of PSE 8 I did a couple of months. I did several times over the years with very good results. We had a message saying that the catalog has been restored successfully. But when I went to convert to PES 10, a mistake seems to say the conversion failed and we must try to restore on PSE 8 try abother Backup.

  This is the bottom. I still have the PSE 8 on a PC at home. I restored the catalog to a location of custonm (a second internal drive). Pictures of 5300 or visible, tags seem to be in order etc.

  But before you try a Back-up, I wanted to for the repair and Opimize the catalogue (named my catalog). But in the catalog is visible, the area where I expected to see [current] is empty, and repair etc buttons are grayed out. I'm puzzled. The only thing I can think to do is to return another backup and try to restore that one of its PES 10, after I dry run at home.

  I'f attached a screen display of the dialog in quesation. I now see where it is small enough, you should be able to see the areas of the screen, to which I am referring.

  I'm puzzled. Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

  Thanks for the screenshot. The main reason I wanted to see it was to check that your catalog for this version. Which it is. It is difficult to tell from the screenshot, but it seems that the catalog file is set to "hidden". The icon looks like semi-transparent. While you can activate the settings in Windows Explorer to view the files 'hidden', he would still have to be hidden from applications. That would not prevent it being used.

  Then try this:

  1. right click on "catalog.pse8db", and then choose Properties.

  2. check if the 'Hidden' option is checked. If this is the case, clear the check box and click OK.

  3. retry verification file > catalog in Photoshop Elements.

  I suggest to follow the steps below and then try to save:

  Method 1:

  If only a small number of duplicate entries exist, try the following:

  a. click on the Windows "Start" and select "programs". Click on "Windows Media Player" to launch the media player.

  b. click on the "library" tab You should see a list of media files uploaded to the Windows Media Player library. Browse and search for files duplicate in the library. Duplicate files share the same name and usually appear side by side.

  c. right click on files duplicate you want to delete and click 'delete '. Repeat the steps to delete all of the duplicate in your Windows Media Library.

  For any consultation remove you items from the Windows Media Player library:

  Method 2:

  If you have a large number of entries in doubles in your library (or if your library is duplicated), it might be better to create a new library.

  To resolve this problem, delete the Windows Media Player database. To do this, follow these steps:

  a. exit Windows Media Player.

  b. click Start, click Run, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Playerand then click OK.

  c. Select all files in the folder and then click on Delete on the file menu.

  Note: you don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.

  d. restart Windows Media Player.

  Note: Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

• Adding a custom paper size

  I have a HP Officejet 7000 Wide format printer and want to print a banner continues (36 x 8 1/2 in.) without having to restore a bunch of sheets of paper.    With my previous HP printer, there was a way to set up a custom paper size, but I could not find such a framework on this new printer.  Is there something obvious that I'm missing or has been removed for this feature on the new model?

  Already tried this unfortunately.  (Working in Publisher, OS Win 7)  Eventually move to another printer for the banner.  Would be nice to have this feature, in the future, if possible updates.

• Adding a custom 404 error page for the specific deployment folder

  I've created a deployment that I will use htm/pdf files static analysis on OBIEE.

  The link to these files are generated dynamically which works well, but unfortunately, means that it displays a link to a file that doesn't exist may not.

  I am looking for a way to manage it in the most user-friendly way. For the moment, it shows the very trivial/useless error of:

  Error 404 - not found

  Of RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol - HTTP/1.1:

  Is it possible to add a custom 404 error page that applies only for searches in this deployment?

  It's a thing of weblogic, so in your deployment, I guess you can add info on the custom 404 in the files in WEB - INF of your deployment (have a loook at pages to customize error in Weblogic if that's what you're looking for or just google about 404 custom in weblogic).

  My BI environment is installed on the server, RHEL. So I installed Oracle BI Administrator Tool on Windows laptop, copied the RHEL server on cell repository, will update the repository and copy it then. But there is no file sawobisauthenticatorproxy3r.dll under the C:\OracleBI\web\bin directory. How could it be? Where can I get this file? Well Google, no option to enter on the internet. I'm sure that this step cannot be ignored.

  Guys, please advice how to solve this problem. Or maybe someone might want to send me this file sawobisauthenticatorproxy3r.dll plugin (if it's can't apply an env).

  Phew. I found the solution. Uninstalled Oracle BI laptop computer administrator tool and installed OBI EE. Now I see

  sawobisauthenticatorproxy3r.dll in C:\OracleBI\web\bin

  and can process my deposit.
