  Thank you for taking the time to make this post very informative, excellent. Without the machine test myself that I can't be sure, but based on the age of the computer and what you wrote I suspect for lack of material. It could be something simple like the hard drive or RAM or something more serious like the motherboard. I wouldn't recommend replacing any material on such an old laptop.

  As long as the hard disk has been physically, you can recover your data easily. If the hard drive has failed, then you will need to send the drive to a professional drive savers data recovery company. It is quite expensive ($500-3700), but they can usually recover your data. Some insurance policies cover also, professional data recovery in order to check with yours. But let's be optimistic. ;-)

  IMPORTANT - If there is no question that the drive is at fault - there are noises, for example - and the data is crucial NOTHING else ON THE DISC. Whenever launch you this player you can destroy data. If this is the case, send the drive to a professional data recovery company.

  I'll give you the information on how to test the hard drive to see if it's good physically and how to recover data when you can't in Windows but in doing these things requires a certain level of computer skills.   Boot with the CD that you have done and do a full test of the reader. You will probably need to change the boot order. Your Dell can give you a temporary boot menu if you press F12 as the computer starts. If so, use your arrow key to select the CD drive.   * My understanding is that you can now write on NTFS from Linux partition. If you wish to do this, Google for instructions on the use of the NTFS driver.

  I have a flash/as3 project, which prompts the user to choose a mp3 file on his playbook a game simply it.

  I put the file in blackberry permissions - tablet.xml

  It works fine when running on the desktop, but fails silently when running on the device!

  So I have set some alerts in my code, but can't figure out why it stops to try / catch statement (see code)

  Let tell them bytes of length is 300 000 bytes.

  the ProgressEvent is triggered twice, once to display 0 / 300 000, then /300 000 0.

  On the desktop, the difference is that the 2nd time it shows 300 000 / 300,000.

  I have no idea why it does not read the byte array on the device and why it works fine on my desktop.

  I can't seem to find the setting for the Web and client Anyconnect set connection attempts that have failed maximum when on the LDAP in Windows database.

  I would say that after that maximum 3 attempts to connect the possebility to connect again times out for 10 minutes.

  Now it is possible to log in as often as you want, which is a big security problem.

  I don't think that this can be configured in AnyConnect or on the ASA. They both rely on the settings on the Windows Server. We can fix this. (reference)

• Fresh install of Windows 8 the new SSD and Windows update found 127 updates and they failed with error code 80248007

  I've been struggling for weeks to try to get my computer Windows 7 update to Windows 8.1. It is not interesting to go in full history frustrating because I gave the update and now I just try to start over again. The recent measures and current situation is as follows:

  1 PC is powerful enough with i7 and 16 GB chip.

  2. new SSD this week.

  2. freshly downloaded Windows 8 Pro ISO burned to a DVD and checked.

  3 Ran install successfully and signed using my Microsoft Account.

  4 tried Windows Store for Windows 8.1, but said I need updates.

  4 Ran Windows Update in Control Panel.

  5. Windows update found 127 updates and they failed with error code 80248007.

  I don't understand how I can get these failures with a new facility.

  Glad you got it going... If I had to guess, it was very likely updates .net 3.5, which has caused the problem... or maybe, Net 4.5...

  They require a process runs to complete their installation that seems to start running in the middle of updates remaining to try to install...

  Hello! I represent a couple of different companies and I have 7 inboxes.

  The problem is that some of the executives of these companies contact me via my standard workmail instead of the certain Inbox set we have for them.

  So I want to be able to redirect my own Inbox mails coming from some users, so that they find themselves in an Inbox, me and my co-workers sees instead of my own private work stations. (Because these leaders don't bother to send some mailes too we a certain Inbox and it is getting frustrating)

  I tried a redirect addon, but I do not understand too much work.

  in the picture I have uploaed you can see the settings. What I am doing wrong? Because even when I have this filter upward all e-mails from these three users are always found in my own Inbox private instead of the one I have below.

  Open address book, and then file/new/address book..., the name, and then click OK. the new address book is displayed in the left pane. Select an address book in the left pane, then select the contacts in the right pane, hold down the CTRL and drag the selected contacts and drop them on the new address book icon in the left pane (copies of contacts).

  The filter would look like the example in the picture.
