  I have ready a few days ago an article somewhere on public property of component adding custom in the Panel property of Adobe Flex 3 using a few Metatag.

  Today I thought to add my custom in the properties panel component property, but could not do, I can't even remember the meaning of this article.

  There are a number of categories for grouping.

  Property	Type	Description
  category	String	Includes property in a special subcategory in the property inspector UI Flex Builder. The default category is 'other '. Specify a value of 'Common good', 'Effects', 'Events', 'Layout constraints', 'Size', 'Styles' or 'other '.

  I'm reading the excellent book "ActionScript 3.0 Quick Reference Guide". In some chapters, the authors ask us to install third-party components. They install in the CS4 extension manager, but for some reason that I don't know, they are not showing in the components Panel.
  
  I use Flash CS4... but I also have Flash 8 and Flash CS3 installed (actually, all of the suites), and he never caused problems before, so I don't think that's the problem... Furthermore, if I install in CS3, they appear in the Panel.
  
  FYI, I have a version of Canadian French Windows XP and I work with English Flash versions...
  
  In particular, extensions, I've tried are:
  -as3webservice by Pieter Michels (wellconsidered.com);
  -Library of Yahoo! Astra (by Yahoo!, of course);

  No, there is not in this folder, but as I understand it, they shouldn't be here either, because in this case, this is the place for those default (which comes with Flash).

  Those added are in the Documents and Settings folder:
  Yes, since I installed the same components in Flash CS3 and Flash CS4 (because they were not involved in CS4), they appear in: C:\Documents and Settings\Nelson Therrien\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe\Flash CS3\en\Configuration\Components... Good.

  Now, they appear in Flash CS4 (path C:\Documents and Settings\Nelson Therrien\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe\Flash CS4\en\Configuration\Components)... N° !!

  BUT! I don't know if it's because I tried the French version once or because I have a French operating system, but I also have a fr folder (full path: C:\Documents and Settings\Nelson Therrien\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe\Flash CS4\fr\Configuration\Components) and... THEY APPEAR!

  So I copied them in the folder en in the file in and here! They now appear in the Flash CS4 components Panel...!

  I find files of layout of the text in "Settings\Application Data\Adobe\Flash CS4\NIL\Configuration" and then copy the files to "Settings\Application Data\Adobe\Flash CS4\en\Configuration.
  and then, my problem is solved.
  I use win xp and farsi language.

• Very slow to open the components Panel

  The site I am building a lot of image assets. Whenever I open the active panel, it takes a minute or more to open. I use a macbook pro retina 2015 with 16 GB of ram and a processor i7. All other applications work like a charm, but Adobe Muse really needs a lot of work in terms of stability and performance. The new version is especially very slow. I think Adobe Muse needs to work on the bug fixes and performance at this stage and constantly release new features first.

  In fact, I have download the latest version last night and I am pleased to announce that the question was indeed fixed in this new construction. Kudos to the team for a job well done! This is good progress. But the active panel still need a lot of work. I have not to mention them here and create a new thread for this private place in the beta program. Thanks for your help!

• Connection problem with the database, the closure of Flex Builder

  I developed a web page that connects to a database, reads data and it shows on the screen. I use HTTPService to connect to a php server that supports MySQL data. Everything is OK when I run the Flex Builder web page, but when I run the page doing double click on the file released .html the connection fails and the program generates this error:

  Previously, I also faced the same problem when working with Php as the Backend, the problem is that Flex does not call your PHP page

  It is the way I solved it to export your Flex Project at Flex Release Build.

  Right click on the export of project---> Flex project---> Release Build---> copy all the files on your server where all of your PHP files are and then call the application from the browser

• Expansion of the CF in Flex Builder

  I am currently using Flex Builder 3 on OSX Leopard, and I've updated the Eclipse platform to 3.3.3. I just installed the ColdFusion plugins from the official download page, but they do not seem to work. I can go to new-> other and then try to start a wizard in ColdFusion but the two Ajax and Flex versions say that they are not currently available on this platform.

  Don't know how I did it, but don't know how to cancel it.  Somehow, I changed the other button in the custom property Panel.  I use DW CC 2014 so don't know if this is an upgrade in 2014?

  The only thing I didn't understand about is why it's different CBWMS and PCOC 2014.

  You will need to ask about the 'authorities'. I have exactly the same thing. Until you said it, I didn't even notice the BOM change, and frankly, I think it's better as "custom".

  I downloaded just Dreamweaver Cs6 CC and that you do not find the category "structure" in the Insert panel. Any ideas?

  Oops, I didn't know that you speak DWCS6 cloud, pCOC.

  DWCS6 cloud is not this menu.

  There are a lot of differences between theDWCS6 and PCOC clouds, make sure any tutorial/book that you use is correct for the version of the program that you are running.

  The Flex SDK kit is the strict minimum necessary to develop a Flex application: compilers and libraries of components. With the SDK, you will need to use your own text editor, and then manually run the compiler. It's awkward, but at least it's free. I would not recommend this approach (to someone).

  Flex Builder 2 is an IDE for developing Flex applications. Under the hood, it uses the SDK, but most of the gory details are hidden on your part really, it streamlines the development process with Visual authoring tools, code completion, etc. It costs money, but if you're serious about Flex development, it is worth the cost. It has a 30 day free trial, to take it for a spin.

• Stop automatic checking of the parameters on the search panel Call

  On the search screen call, when we choose a customer location and organization fields on the search panel auto-fill with the current values of the client and the two options are checked.

  I know it's just trying to be helpful, but our leaders find it very annoying, because our organizational structure changes regularly and that is why we must always uncheck the two boxes of these search criteria to make sure we get all the calls for the customer.

  How to stop the location boxes and organizing be checked when we select a customer on the search panel call?

• "SWF is not a loadable module" during the compilation of flash builder 4.6 but not 4.0

  I'm having a very strange problem on a legacy project. The developer who built the project (using fb 4.0 and flex 3.0.0.477) is able to compile and the application works fine, both locally and on the server. However, if I take the same code and compile it using fb 4.6 and even flex sdk, the application works locally, but begins to not load the modules on the server, which gives an error "SWF is not a loadable module. There are no other errors of the debugging sessions.

  All cross-domain policy files appear to be in place. The module, starts loading, but receives the error after 5-10% is downloaded.

  I also tried setting the scope using modLoader.applicationDomain = ApplicationDomain.currentDomain; with no result.

  It finally worked! The application has been loaded from https, while the regular http modules.

  I guess your initial point on the restrictions of security on FB 4.6 was correct, but I don't know why the scenario of Flex Builder 3 got the same results.

  This morning, I was able to download the update panel Folio Builder, but when it is installed the Panel called % menu_name and the Panel is white.

  -First leaving InDesign!

  1. uninstall the "Digital Publishing" in Adobe Extension Manager.

  2. in the Finder, locate "Panel Adobe Folio Builder" - uninstall Adobe Folio Panel should be found - uninstall

  3. in the Finder, search for "Adobe producer Folio tools" - a uninstall Adobe Folio producer should find tools - uninstall

  You don't need BEA Workshop or IBM Rational Software. I think it means that you can install the plugin eclipse/BEA Workshop on top of Flex Builder/IBM Rational Software.

  If you choose to Flex Builder standalone, then you have even eclipse. If you choose Flex Builder Plug-ins you need eclipse.
