Cause of multi Cam in the program monitor PPCC. Help?

Hello

For the last week, I've been editing Canon. MXF a five camera images shot in Multicam PremPro CC.

Everything was fine.  I progresses and has been able to export some preview episodes.

Late last night, so that the edition Multi Cam in the program window, half Multicam window becomes black.

Screen Shot 2014-12-31 at 9.39.03 AM.png

Multi cam is activated in the program monitor.

The Source window can see the multiple in the sequence cams - as seen here below.

Screen Shot 2014-12-31 at 9.41.04 AM.png

And the timeline has everything enabled for Multicam as well.

Screen Shot 2014-12-31 at 9.40.27 AM.png

As I say, I've been editing this project even for more than a week now, and it suddenly stops the multicam in the program monitor.

The footage I had finished editing is no longer will show Multi cam in the program either monitor.  And the project has the same through other computers in this studio.

CC is a bit different than CS6.  It is the most recent update the PPCC2014.2

I'm looking for suggestions of ideas for what to do here before we start the project more in CS6.

I hope I won't have to go back to CS6 a second time on a Bill this year.

Your comments are appreciated.

Thank you for your time.

Right,

So here was the problem, if any of you out there people are going nuts with what appears to be a broken project.

In the timeline above layer multicam, I was falling into the graphics. I cut and paste into.

In order to so I highlight the layer I want to drop the graphics on.

As shown below.

Once a layer is a highlight that the layer of Multicam, the program monitor will show is more multicam.

Remove the layer as shown highlighted below.

Hope this helps someone.

See you soon...

  • Where is the drop-down menu which will distribute choose me multi cam to open different cams in the program monitor?

I have a project of two cameras that I want to use the multi cam editing option.  Cannot find how to get individual cams open in the program monitor I can start cutting between them.

The key offers that option as well.

  • During the insert, the program monitor does not display the adjacent images

On page 207 of the manual, it says:

The program monitor can help you determine where to place a clip you add to a sequence. During a change of crush it, it displays the images

in the adjacent sequence for the new clip head and tail. During a montage of the insert, it displays the adjacent images at the insertion point.

When I drag a clip in the project Panel in a sequence, everything works as indicated in the manual. And when I drag the same clip with the program monitor, everything works still fine - but I don't see any adjacent items displayed. How to view?

This works when you drag the movie, not the program monitor.

  • Export lack contrast compared to the program monitor

First of all; I'm running on Windows 10 first CC 2015.1 and using a GPU Nvidia GeForce Ti GTX750. I use Dell U2412M twins IPS monitors that are calibrated using a Spyder4Pro.

Any codec I export to it always seems to be the same discrepancy between what displays the program monitor (as well as the preview to export) and video after export. I used VLC, the native Windows! 0 Reader (film & TV), Quicktime and HTML5. I have all these images will appear less saturated and lacking in contrast. Play exported images on an other machine parts, even relatively faded image.

I've been reading a lot of posts on this topic, seems to be a common problem, and try to find a solution that works, none of the suggestions I've read have solved the problem in my case.

    • I checked the settings in the Nvidia Control Panel, everything is configured to use the Nvidia settings. Returning to the video player settings makes it even more flat.
    • The only one who came close it is make some additional adjustments when exporting via the effects tab. However, it's something drastic workaround with the overcompensated preview.
    • It isn't just Quicktime that has this issue, it is in all areas.

Y at - it a setting I have not spotted, either during the export process, or to set the display within the first I missed which would give me a parity between the preview that displays the monitor program and exit? This seems a little silly that the Visual tool used when the color correction and classification of images seems to be a rule in its own right...

Below screenshot shows the same part of a few images, VLC on the left and the program within the first right monitor.

Thanks in advance for any idea on this issue.

After a little experimentation this morning, I think I can find the answer. I use some Look of Tom Antos LUTs as part of my process of dimming on my current project. Without these elements in the equation for the difference between the program monitor and images exported in VLC is almost the same makes no difference.

It is interesting export a file from .cube since Lumetri color Panel with everything Tom Antos LUT applied and then using this file in the ranking. .cube seems to cure the problem. There must be either something wrong with the formatting of the original Tom Antos LUT where changes to the image have been applied in the program monitor but were then omitted in the rendering process. Tom Antos READ appeared in or an earlier version of the first, and there is a kind of incompatibility. Anyway, to re-record the LUT as a native first CC 2015.1 .cube file seems to fix the problem.

I take this opportunity to thank R Neil Haugen and J. Simon for their valuable input

I hope that don't cross is not all 'line in the sand' marking my own answer to my original question as the answer...

  • The program monitor empty composite video.

2 x 2.26 Ghz Quad Core Intel Xeon

    16 GB of DDr3 memory

    2011 mac Pro

DeckLink Studio 4 k audio and video output running at the receiver and external controller

    NVIDIA 5770

    Graphics NVIDIA Quadro 4000 card

The program monitor is empty. I've got audio of counting. I can get staff to record the signal, but in composite video, nothing comes through. The video and audio signals are through my card of cause on an external monitor and speakers, but the program monitor is just empty.

I tried restarting the computer and the creation. Check the updates of drivers Cuda. 6.1.18 running

Already old version 6.5.14 but the problem persists.

Tried to create a new project.

I tried different video settings for the sequence, but all behaving the same way.

I can't video playback in my UI for the source or video monitor.

    Help, please.

Contacted support via chat. Is that the rendering engine has been set to OpenCL rather than Cuda. To do this, go to 'file/project settings/general' at the top of this is the rendering engine of access. If it isn't on Cuda and you Cuda, then you will not have playback. Problem solved. I feel stupid, but there is the answer if someone else needs.

  • The program monitor shows nothing

I just got CC and started to edit a project that I had initially started on another computer in the trial CS6.

Open the project, he has converted format CC, find the files and everything. When I preview the it, the program monitor shows black, but audio parts. I tried with a new project and add a few titles and still nothing in the program monitor. When I exported the media, he appeared correctly, but forecasts were black.

No idea how I could fix this? After Effects displays previews very well, QuickTime seems to work without problems, and I'm a little lost.

EDIT: Checked the file Adobe Premiere Pro preview files: there is a file called Untitled.PRV (my project is untitled) which is empty. Shouldn't there be something in there?

Running on a new computer, 8 GB of RAM, i7-3630QM 2.4 GHz, 2 x GeForce GT650M, etc. I don't think the specs are the cause.

Thanks for this tip. Read all over the web; It turns out that the codec packs is bad (I didn't) and decided to uninstall those that I donwloaded. First is always present, so it was definitely a driver problem.

  • The program Monitor stops the video play list

    Hello

I lose the composite image of video playback in the program monitor and the Source monitor after a few minutes. Audio is not yet.

While the video plays, a random video color video screens near bar overall top 10 lines of pixels from the left edge to the right edge, then the video freezes on video, but you can still listen to. After awhile, an error message appears and the first to be forced closed. "NVIDIA OpenGL driver detected a problem with the display driver and can not continue." Error code: 3'

It happens on all projects ranging from different resolutions and sizs from 30 seconds to 40 minutes. I suspect it has something to do with this error of the video and pilots communicate do not, but something causes of creation to arrive after the clip, played some time to display. I tried a few online solutions, others have had success with, but it doesn't have a lot of solutions fully documented for Windows users.

This put all my projects on hold. Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

    Other clues:

able to see reading through the other display modes such as waveform, vectorscope or rc

be able to see the video images to change if manually move the playhead to blue

Windows Media Player plays video files very well

Closing the first to reopen the first time very well for a few minutes

  • Last image is "stuck" on the program monitor.

When you edit a sequence, for some reason, where there are gaps in my timeline, the final image seems "stuck" on the program monitor. In fact, it is if I select any image of the clip in my sequence, and then click an empty space and black on the timeline, it shows that the framework I finally got on the program monitor.

The only way I got around it so far was fade to black or close and reopen the sequence, and it comes back as soon as something is displayed in the program monitor.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.

    Welcome to the forum.

Why are there gaps in the portion of the video of your sequence? Those that can cause all sorts of questions. If you have black, where you have gaps, rather to insert pieces of video Black (created with the new icon on the bottom of the project Panel - black Video).

Good luck and if you remove those gaps, see Ann Bens TUTORIAL.

  • The program monitor - I'm not seeing full clip during playback

I am worried real!  After days of my life, import video and editing-and then trying to solve my problem to see only part of the fastener back playing in the program monitor that brought me to your site.  I spent hours looking at your posts (and indeed Adobe help pages) is trying to solve this problem and clearly my sequence settings initial (I think!) were wrong.  Maybe I can come back because I really don't know how these values are set correctly.  My original question please, if I finish my editing and then export this file, will I see again that part of the clips in the final version, or will I see all of the original clip?

    Some information:

    -Windows 7

    -Premiere Pro CS4

-Program monitor setting is 'fit '.

    -aspect ratio 16:9

-PAL (based in the United Kingdom)

    -Camcorder Sony HD - SR12E

    -1920 x 1080i HD

Phew, hope this is enough Info for you "kick start" me!

    Thank you.

    Best regards, Doreen.

From the looks of it reviews, the camera probably records in 1920 x 1080, so it is likely that you need the 1080i25 not anamorphic, preset (50i) AVCHD.

You must have installed a Windows 7 64-bit driver (if it exists)
for this. Do you have? Otherwise, navigate to the web site of the camera
manufacturer, search, download and install it.

  • The program monitor shows only half of the picture

Hi I'm new in preview, for some reason any when I open a photo in the program monitor, it shows that half of the picture, straight cut, in the Center (see below). I used to be able to see the entire photo and add the title and text to it.

what setting should I bring back to normal?

    2016-10-05.png

The first thing I would look at is the Sequence of parameters - click, on the top menu and ensure that the settings are - post a screenshot please. Your program monitor looks like a size extra-large, much wider than the standard ratio 16:9 HD or 4 K.

The setting sequence is the basis for everything in your project - if it's wrong to start, all you will be affected later.

Once you have a correct adjustment sequence you are satisfied, still images or video clips you want to use may not be the same dimensions/dimensions you chose for your sequence (such as 1080 p which is 1920 x 1080 pixels). You may have a still picture with larger dimensions, and then it will appear cropped as you currently see as its size does not match sequencing. Think of it as the photo was too big for a picture frame.

As Jim mentioned, you can use the effect Adobe path across the source to fit, however it can be quicker and easier to simply with the right button of the image on the timeline, and then select define framework - this will automatically go to the media in your sequence.

  • First CC - the program monitor goes black after a few minutes

    Hello

    I have the following problem:
After 5-10 minutes, the program first DC monitor (2015) becomes black. The sequence and any remains intact, I can still do everything, but it does not show on the program monitor. When I restart first nothing is deleted or changed in any way that I myself.

    Technical information:
I use Windows 8.1, 12 GB of RAM on 2 TB of free space on my hard drive and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 650.

I would be very happy if anyone of you could help me with this problem because it's really in the way of my workflow to restart every few minutes.

    -Clara

Thanks for all the help, but fortunately, the problem disappeared after the new update and I hope it stays like that.

  • The program monitor randomly goes black

First Pro CC uses for months and no problem.  All of a sudden, the program monitor goes black, then back over video transitions between clips, then goes black again.

I have a HP workstation, with a processor of xenon 12-core, 32 GB RAM, 9 TB of disk storage hard (the first 1 TB flash), blazing fast dedicated with a ton of video memory video card.  It's worked wonders for 12 months and with all the other products Adobe (Photoshop, Lightroom) and hundreds of other programs.  I have NOT changed any video card or video processing settings.   I don't have a hardware problem - it is a problem with Adobe first Pro CC.

I spent the maximum money on the hardware and the software more later/better (even though I hate paying a subscription for software).  And now this...   Moreover, I understand now and still not a bug, but when the screen goes black in a video software - well, it's like losing your direction while on the highway - it's sort of IMPORTANT - wouldn't you say Adobe?

I'll scream at Adobe on Monday, but have a serious work that must be done this weekend.

Is there any help that works?

You use the latest versions (which numbers?) of Adobe CC?

    Try resetting the workspace.

Try to update or restore your video driver.

Try to remove the media cache files.

    Try resetting preferences.

  • Format change in the program monitor

    Hello

I don't know what happened - but somewhere over my editing that the program monitor has changed to a standing position (as I filmed with an iPhone stand). I can't find where I can change the settings back to 'normal' - if anyone can help a beginner in Premiere Pro?

My only solution now is to start a new project and make the film...

    Louise

    snurrigt.PNG

It is the sequence settings that alter the size and shape of the program monitor. Take a look at the title sequence / sequence, the size of the pixel settings should be the same images of you, if you are on CC, you should be able to change the settings if necessary.

  • The program monitor recovering at the center when changing sequences

I picked my level of zoom to 200% for a nested sequence and discovers the top left in the program monitor to work with the media.

When I go to the nested sequence in the tab adjacent timeline, I also chose my 200% zoom level and the position of the monitor program sliding towards the top left.

When I tab back to my first sequence, my monitor of the program, always set at 200%, restores the centre, and I have to drag my monitor of the program towards the top left.

When I return to the nested sequence tab, drag the program to the top left monitor.

Is there a way to keep my monitor to reset the program back to its central position?

I think you're stuck to readjust on this one.
