  I go through the steps, it displays 2.0 TB of capacity, but when I get to "Current disc layout" it only 47GB available!

  What gives any suggestions/ideas? Why can't I get the full 2 TB?

  I guess that there is actually 2 TB + 47 GB. You must create 2 TB-512 b LUN, not even one more byte.

  Firefox does not apparently see that a high enough version of Adobe Flash is already installed (there is no downgrade). Other applications are able to run Flash without any problems.

  The Flash player for Firefox is 10.2.159.1 that the fixed Zero Day exploit in the previous version, see: Adobe releases update of Flash Player Security.

  What I suggest you do is to go to http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html and download Adobe Flash uninstaller, and that (first close Firefox). Then, go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ to obtain the current version.

  Uninstaller will also uninstall IE8, so you'll have to use that to download and install it again I'm afraid. This is because the version of Firefox does not have the ActiveX control that is required to operate the Flash in IE8.

• CS5 built and deployed with "Disable AAM."  How to enable updates without having to reinstall?

  I used Adobe Enterprise Deployment Manager to create a package Design Premium CS5.  Now 6 users who have received this package report that they cannot update their own facilities.  I realized that a default build configuration has the box checked ' disable the MAO"!

  In the package build itself, there is a file called "optionxml.xml" that contains a line about updates, with a "remove = true" indicator is defined.  This seems to be only configurable during compile.

  Is it possible to change this on customers, once it is deployed, without having to reinstall the suite?

  My wife's cell phone can connect to the router with a N Wireless card at a speed of 170 Mbps.

  My laptop can connect only to 54 Mbps. I checked that I am connected to radio N of my router (the radio of G/B/A has a separate connection).

  I was able to determine the problem after extensive web searches.

  I was using the WPA-TKIP authentication which, in some cases, prevents the speed N Wireless.

  Once I changed WPA2-AES authentication radio N I got immediately 300Mps speeds and it varies between 240-300Mbps now.

• I've moved the Creative Suite 5 to a new computer, off on the former, active on the Illustrator again, but only and Photoshop will open. The rest of the suite does not open. How can I fix it?

  I moved from Creative Suite 5 from my old MacBook Pro to my new MacBook Air and followed instructions to turn off activation on the new and the old but only Photoshop and Illustrator work. I also need to get InDesign, Acrobat, Dreamweaver, and Fireworks. Is there a way to fix this? Problem with the MacBook Air is it is not a hard drive so I had to transfer it via external hard drive.

  The problem is that you need to install CS5 from a setup file or the installation disc. You cannot just copy files because there are a lot of additional files that get to the right place.

  You will need to use the Adobe cleaner to remove all the stuff on your new computer:

• autoexpanding a tree works - but only once

  I ran across a strange behavior in the adf (latest version) and I do not know how to debug/fix it. I put a tree on initiallyExpanded = 'true' and it works, but only once.
  
  My scenario:
  
  I have a splitter-split page, with a tree in the left (navigation) and 'details' separator in the right. The details are inside the same page, a blender decides which section to display. (More details Re: howto: display dynamic form on the selection of the tree (11 GR 1 material jdev) )
  
  Then. Navigate in my navigation tree, access to a node and the 'details_1' section opens and shows a part of entry fields and trees (another). This tree has the value initiallyExpanded = "true" and is initially developed.
  
  Then, I chose another node in the navigation tree, which also highlights the "details_1" (just for another record). Iterators are defined (input fields contains the correct values) but the tree is not developed. This is the same section if the tree is the same, very, very, like work one :)
  
  After opening some leafes and switching back and forth between the two records details the tree keeps the last State.

  So, if not you unload/reload the instance of the tree but simply refresh the tree, it is not considered as initial rendering. In this case, I think you have to programmatically set the dislosure line key on the path of the selected tree

  I use JDeveloper 11.1.1.7.0, who has a WebLogic Server embedded 10.3.5.

  When I test my application by right clicking on my page and run... in WLS on-board, everything works perfectly.

  It works with any page and any flow.

  Now, I have to deploy the same application to an external 10.3.6 WLS

  First of all, I have the application package in one EAR to aid Assistant JDeveloper. I did right click in application-> Deploy-> MyApplication...-> select deploy ear...

  
  

  Then, when .ear file is built, I run startWebLogic (I have already created a domain with the ADF operating options) and deploy the .ear as an app.

  I have a lot of warnings, but the final message is deployment is ok.

  It is therefore my surprise that I get a NullPointerException in the first page I test in the first access to an ADF/view iterator in the Java class:

  Well, I finally solved my problem.

  The steps are:

  • Configure WL 10.3.6 as a WLS incorporated in JDeveloper.
  • Configure WLS Diagnostics: http://jdeveloperfaq.blogspot.com.es/2009/12/faq-7-how-to-configure-adf-diagnostics.html
  • Run applications in WLS 10.3.6. Now, there are a lot of newspapers, and I see the problem in the DataBindings file. AppModule connection name and reference data binding to this AppModule were mismatch. FIX: http://www.emmersonmiranda.net/2011/07/jbo-33005-configuration-appmodulelocal.html
  • Then, a Classic JNDI fail. It is very important the name of data source JDBC with certain agreements with the login name. See this: http://mrk-group.blogspot.com.es/2011/11/unable-to-lookup-data-source-at-context.html

  Finally, it works.

  Now, let me ask another question.

  I have change the DB connection (not the name, is not posible) to another user in the same DB schema. I want to check if the application still works and it does. But why? My test is right?
