• Questions about the use of Adobe Muse (was: Basic - Help please)

  I am a volunteer to build my first website, to help veterans.

  As I am new, I have some basic questions:

  1. How can I copy in the navigation buttons wrap the text so that they can be shorter?

  2. How can I create 'in the navigation of the page"where I have a pages long document and a box on the side - with topics in the document - so that a viewer can click on the button in the box and jump on this part of the document?

  3. I am confused about what I see on the screen and that a real Viewer will see.

  a. my frame is defined on a width of 960 - I have no idea why.  I have 9 videos put on my home page, so that I can l take final decisions later, as for those who remain and who will move to other pages.

  b. to obtain 9 on the page, I have all made 320 X 240.  However, to place on page 3 in all, those outside executed partially beyond the marker 960 width pink and purple.

  c. when I view the page in 'Preview' or 'view in a browser', all the pictures show in their entirety with many areas left on the outside surfaces of the pages.

  Please explain that a veterinarian would actually see and what misunderstanding I.  Please consider in your response that most of the points of view may be on tablets or smart phones.

• Start basic help, please.

  What I have to do is to create a document of 36 "x 72", paste a chart of 100 DPI at the same size of gimp and save in format PDF. Looks like it would be a simple task, but here I am, come to beg for help.

  I was able to:

  InDesignCS4 open

  Start a new document

  When I went to change the size of the document in document format... What is this? P0? where is inches?

  Since it is a 8.5 "x 11" sheet of paper I did some calculations and put in a number that would correspond with 36 "x 72" "

  When I pasted the chart which was 100 dpi and 36 x 72 "it was too big.

  I can record on the PDF, I tested for this.

  When I went to find answers in the index of the 'help' I found that is sorely lacking.
  My guess is that my brain is wired differently so the creators of this program.

  Somehow Adobe Indesign guru could give me instructions to do the most basic tasks?

  Use file > Place, don't paste graphics. Collage will get a low resolution preview.

  Default measures are picas, but you can use whatever measures you like.

  I'm guessing that your graphic is too large because you stuck on a page that was too small. There are 6 picas to every inch, so a page 36 x 72 "would be 216 x 432 p p. If your chart is still too large, you can resize it right down. You can even set the frame 36 x 72 (or what you want it to be) then object > adjustment > fit content proportionally.

• WVC54GCA / WVC210 - I need basic help on configuring alerts by e-mail.

  I recently bought a WVC210 in hopes of using its ability to send whenever it detects a movement. But I can't understand how the game goes.

  Ideally, I wanted to have it work with gmail. But I've read that, due to a security that gmail requires that the camera be able to do. Also, I heard that the same would go for yahoo and other emails.

  Does anyone know a way to get email working for someone without their own mail server? Can I use information my ISP to do?

• Basic Help Xcontrol

  Hi I'm new to xcontrols and trying to figure out how they work, I read a number of posts on the forum I thought I again, how they worked. Clearly I'm not.

  Take a new Xctl

  The façade has a control of the chain and U32 for debugging. The data type is the string. The U32 Gets the time triggers the data change event. In the case of fake the shift registers are wired straight through.

  

  I also added a change event for the control of the chain.

  

  test2, the Xctl, is droped on the main VI with this scheme.

  

  The data change event fires when inserting. He event fires whenever you open the main VI, but not when the value of the control chain is changed. Still typing in the Xctl stop stops the main VI.

  You should not run into any questions triggers an event of the façade. Looks like your block diagram got a little cut on the photo, is the event that you get a value replace the cluster action?

• Basic Help with Flash v10 (creating a simple calculator)

  I have Adobe CS4 Pro with Flash v10.  I am trying to create a minimal and simple calculator that adds 2 numbers.  I followed the tutorial at http://layersmagazine.com/flash-design-calculator.html.  Initially, I was unable to name the variables to all objects, but got this cleared up by selecting ActionScript 2.0 (was set to 3.0).  At this point, the calculator accepts two numbers, but when I select the button 'Add' the associated code, as shown in the tutorial, nothing happens.  Does anyone have a suggestion as to what I might hurt?  Thank you.

  Remove all the variables in the textfield of the properties panel.  If you have also done the same for the total textfield instance name there, use:

• Need really basic help

  I've never used Flash or ActionScript before, and I am very frustrated trying to do something very simple:

  I just want to write an ActionScript 3 that prints "Hello World" in a console. I don't try to run in the web, a graphical interface, or something else. Can someone give me instructions on how to do this with Flash CS4 on OS X?

  CTRL-ENTER compiles the movie. Or Menu control > test movie and you will see the listed keyboard shortcut. If you were not allowed to enter the script you described, before starting a new movie, so you had a selected object... Select a keyframe and enter the script.

• Help! Error code 80070641

  Can anyone help? I tried to install the MS updates and get the same error code: 880070641.  I have looked everywhere and tried many solutions without a bit of luck.  I uninstalled outlook 2007 and not reinstalled, no help. I made sure windows install is running in automatic mode, and no help. I'm not good with computers and do not want to get dirty with the registration system, unless someone can guide me through it. I called microsoft and they said to call HP.  I told them that I believed troubleshooting free upgrade and they said if your computer does not start while aid is free.  I use a computer HP laptop that is about a year and a half, Vista 64-bit.  Updates, I try to get are: KB 956358 - 951944-976884-972581-974234.  Because I've uninstalled and reinstalled outlook 2007, it is said now I have to update the MS Suites service pack 1, but will not install either.  This is starting to affect other programs so that I'm getting a little nervous.

  If someone can give me some basic help without getting too technical, it would be so nice.

• What are the basic criteria to keep a computer in good operating condition?

  HI: I asked a question before and I will say first my pc works fine and I have no problem.  I want to know, as PC users, what are the basic top of page I should or can do to keep my PC works perfectly.  First: I am a paid version of the anti-malware software and Online Armor for my firewall.  I am running Windows 7 64 bit with IE 9 - I used 10 & 11 and frankly don't like them.  I run more registry cleaner software as I think that was my fall down during the past year, why I had to reinstall my discs of recovery on 12 or more times.  Any basic help and knowledge would be appreciated as I like to learn new things - also if anyone knows of acceptable software that is allowed to run or use to keep your pc running like new thank you Dave

  I tried without success to get examples of Flash-based help files: the use of Flash and AS3 to create a (similar to CHM or WinHelp help authoring style) help file.

  I would like to create a small, very basic help file in a Flash AS3 project, with the look / feel of a Windows style help file. Perhaps, there are a few examples, sample FLA that can help me to avoid "reinventing the wheel."

  Here is an example of a table that I have and I need basically help make and update statement. My syntax is all messed up. I have update the 'INDY' column WHEN THE NUM AND NUM 2 and INDY are the same. In other words it since it needs to update the last N with a 'Y '.

  Kutlaya is right, but I want to tell you that it will be good to buy memory module produced by Toshiba or Kingston because this module are tested and you won't have any problem. If you buy a cheaper third-party module, it is possible that they will not be recognized by the BIOS.

• How to use Excel on iPhone 6 s/ios 9.2?

  I need basic help for a beginner who has never used the 'cloud', in any version.

  I use Excel for updating a single database stored on my desk while I'm home.  I want to keep the latest version of this file in a cloud and then use Excel on my iphone while I'm on vacation, keep up to date while I'm away from home.  Then, when I'm back home, I want to replace the now-old version on my desktop with the version I updated while I was on the road.  How do these things?

  I have an iphone 6 s. I use ios 9.2.  So I have an icloud account.   I have Excel 2013 at home on the desktop.  I heard onedrive, which is made by Microsoft, not Apple, I think.  It sounds as if OneDrive and iCloud are the same kind of 'cloud' storage.  Right? If so, should I use iCloud or OneDrive, or it doesn't matter?

  Once, I download the Excel application, then what?  Just open and continue normally as I do using the desktop computer?  How can I find the file I want to work, once I put it in iCloud or OneDrive?  It will be apparent once I use the Excel application where to find?

  Finally, once I am once again, the House how do I put the file of the cloud on my desktop instead of the obsolete version hard drive now that I left behind?

• NEITHER USB-TC01 not found

  I need very basic help taking a reading of a thermocouple.  I am a NI USB-TC01 plugged into a USB port and following the instructions to 'Take a measurement with LabVIEW' Web page of NOR.  I am at the step 4 "select USB-TC01 case as the measuring instrument" and didn't get "any device supported found" under "support of physical channels" when I see "Dev1 (USB-TC01)" what am I doing wrong?
