  I realize that Flash Professional CC is not listed as an operational programme with the CC extensions Manager, CreateJS is great, but I would try the plug-in of Swiffy which looks like it will only install if I go back to Flash Professional CS6 (is no longer available for download) and install it via the CS6 extensions Manager. So my question is, Flash Professional CC will soon come to extensions Manager CC and in addition the Swiffy plug-in will eventually be available as well?

  Why do you say "Flash Professional CC is not currently listed as an operational programme with the CC extensions Manager"? The CC extensions Manager supports Flash Profession CC. It seems that you have installed Flash Profession CC but CC extensions Manager it does not show in Control Panel product. Is this right?

  Swiffy is created by Google. It does not limit the maximum version of Flash Professional. It's an mxp file and handler extensions CC no longer manages the mxp file, it will be necessary to convert it to ZXP via CS6 extensions Manager (standalone download is available at http://www.adobe.com/exchange/em_download/em6_download.html). Then you can install it to Flash Professional CC using the CC extensions Manager.

  I have a flash extension ZXP; When loading, Illustrator CC2015.2 (El Capitan) appears to be blocked forever and never my screens.

  Strangely, endearing XCODE Illustrator 2015.2 unlocks the Panel!

  Any idea?

• Creating an extension signed for Flash CC

  Hey all,.

  I'm really confused on how to create an extension signed for flash. When I say flash extension, I mean an extension flash javascript: JSFL. When I googled this issue all I get is references to Adoble Extension Builder, flash builder plugin. I tried this plugin and all I can get is a model for creating AIR extensions. I want to create a JSFL, not AIR panels inside the flash IDE or anything... just JSFL.

  So I have my JSFL, and I know how to create a ZXP leave a MXI, but... How can I do officially signed? I have a file, cert.p12 that I use to create signed AIR application commercial versions, can I use it? How can I use it?

  Adobe Exchange package manager can be used to create signed ZXP extensions. It is a free product. You can get it by signing in https://www.adobeexchange.com/producer then click on the 'resources '. It is also available in the prerelease Agora community.

• Webcam not displayed in a Google Chrome Extension with pepper Flash

  Hello Adobe,

  There is a problem with the Flash version of pepper in Chrome to access the webcam.  When embedding a Flash application that accesses the webcam inside a Chrome Extension and click on 'Allow' (to allow access to the webcam), the expected behavior is to see the webcam image.  Instead, we see only a black screen - no picture - and no real mistake that the camera is inaccessible.

  If we turn off Flash pepper and use lightning main plugin Chrome, then the Extension works perfectly (we see the image of the webcam).

  Note that if we try to load the same HTML code directly as a web page with Flash of pepper, this works also.  So this leads to the conclusion that there is a problem with the following combination: pepper Flash + Extension Chrome + webcam.

  It is a major set back to set useful Chrome extensions that use the webcam.  Can what comments you do on this issue.

  Nope.  My initial recommendation to open a chrome bug stands.  I am hopeful that another fix webcam in Chrome could solve this problem, but looks like it's specific for use in a chrome extension.  My hypothesis is that the nature of process in the PPAPI model sandboxing prevents us to access the camera in the case.

  This isn't a use case that test us or support, is therefore no guarantee terms of long term stability or prioritization of patches it must break in the future.  I just want to be clear that it is staggering if you create a business on top of it.  That said, we do not like to see new uses for Flash and try to help if possible.  The rate and the pace of the browsers change makes it difficult to predict what will and will not work long term in this kind of borderline cases.

  In the PPAPI world, there not a lot of leeway "to work things.  The beauty of the PPAPI, is that it provides points of own congestion by which Google can restrict plugin behavior.  Greatly enhances the security of the end user, it is intrinsically more restrictive with regard to our ability to generate clever hacks.  (IMO, it's a good thing in the long run.)

  Google engineers would really need to throw an eye to understand this behavior is not currently allowed and how / if they are interested to provide a manufacturing process, it works safely.

  I have 27.0 FF and have simply been "stung" with this new FLASH extension.

  I can't read the youtube movies.

  I tried "TRUSTED" sites, but it was to get the work of the FOX TAB.

  I tried 'Application policy' as a 'anti-suivi' but it caused more trouble than I liked, so I disabled it.
  But at that time, I've updated the FLASH player. Ridicule me.

  I tried to download Real Player, but it isn't a PLAYER in firefox - I can solve.

  All the other posts on this topic are from last year, so as much as they are "valid", I don't see how they apply to the PRESENT case.

  Can anyone confirm if Illustrator 2015.3 stopped support of Flash/ActionScript extensions?

  This morning I installed 2015.3 and none of the graphic interface of the plugins appear.

  Do we need to switch to HTML GUIs are we need to recompile or modify them so that they work.

  We expect actually just for the 2015.3 SDK?

  Basic flash extensions are no longer supported in 2015 of CC.

  Startup files are Javascript in the InDesign file, but file Bridge is converted to JavaScript binary file.

• Panel Configurator 4 ch to Extension Builder 3 migration issues.

  I am trying to create a set of tools of Photoshop that I hope to unleash on Adobe Exchange in the very near future. The tools are a set of javascript files that are executed through an interface simple panel composed of 4 buttons. There is also a logo at the top of the Panel which links to a tutorial on my site section (much like the Adobe paper Panel Texture Pro if you are familiar with it).

  Initially, I created the Panel using the Configurator 4 (RIP). Unfortunately, I discovered very recently on Adobe plans to remove Flash Extension panel-based features. I opted for Extension Builder 3, so I can present my Extension from Adobe for approval as soon as possible. The main problem is that I'm not a programmer. I'm learning and I am actually very happy with the results so far, but there was a lot of headaches along the way. As for the migration to the Extension Builder 3, I was able to circumvent or find solutions to most of the questions, but there are always a few that I hope someone can shed some light on:

  1. How to create a menu 'fly out' for a sign? I didn't know how to do this in the Configurator 4 either, but at least they provided a "A connection" menu option above the menu options 'Close' and 'Close tab' standards.
  2. It's minor, but when you slide the Panel autour, I noticed that the content of the Panel will disappear and you will see that the color of gray background. The Panel did not have this (you could see the content at any time). Is there a way to get around this?
  3. As mentioned above, I have a logo that used to post a link to the tutorial of the tool on my site. I looked, and it seems that something that is simply not possible to do more. It's too bad, because I wanted to provide users with easy access to the tutorial page. Is it possible to open a new panel from another Panel? In this way, I could at least have the open tutorial as a new Panel in Photoshop. (I just noticed a potential to this in another thread response - though it may be slightly over my head)

  I took a glance at the HTML5, ADOBE Adobe layer Renamer is the author, but makes me more nervous because he has the problem parts hanging out AND no drop down menus supplement. Ideally, I would prefer that it if users did not have to open Adobe Exchange, just to see instructions or information on my Extension.

  Sorry for the long post, but I appreciate any assistance to these questions!

  As a personal note Configurator has been excellent in the way which he balanced (from the point of view of non-programmers) usability and features. I use it myself, but I've seen great things built with it. Conversely, HTML panels will pack a lot of new features and technologies, but curve of learning is more steep and there is no visual tool yet. I should write "learning curves", because - and I say this being a PS scripter and not a webdev - you've to address several topics: HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery, MVC, knot... and finally PS scripting ;-) libraries

  My impression is that - for now - Flash and HTML panels overlap (but not completely) in terms of functionality, but engineers are trying to add extra stuff to the latter (see http://blogs.adobe.com/cssdk/2014/04/introducing-cep-5.html) and this at the expense of 'full flash-features' match - for instance flyouts. I hope that in a next iteration they will add back them--and possibly provide a Visual tool too and many examples.

• Reference data JSFL to CSXS extension

  I have a CSXS flash extension I load in Flash Pro CS5. The CS SDK extension I invoke the JSFL function in my AS3 code with the:

  The JSFL script gets charge and the function is called as I can see tracing instructions spit the text in the console of the Flash output.

  However, my function in JSFL tries to return a simple string value and unfortunately no matter what I try the syncResult.data is always undefined. The syncResult.status has the full value, so the call goes thru. Only the data of JSFL is not being consistent with my CS SDK extension.

  Is there a special way to get data beyond the limits of JSFL-CSXS? In my Photoshop extension I have JSX return a XML code snippet and the CS SDK Photoshop extension works very well. So, what's the trick to the JSFL Flash script?

• Container plugin for firefox still plays the audio ads. I'm deleting it and he returned without permission. How can I get rid of him?

  I got it removed from the location of the file several times. The only solution I found is to stop the process in the Task Manager, but it of a pain and should be repeated several times within minutes of each other.   You talked about the process of container Plugin, so I assume you really mean ads Flash. In this case, you need at least a few options to choose from:
  (1) you can uninstall the Adobe Flash plugin . This will get rid of the real plugin, the Plugin container 'contains', but it will most likely be unwanted side effects: you will not be able to play some Flash games, or watch Flash video on Web sites that use them (e.g. Facebook).
  (2) you could install an ad blocking extension in Firefox, like AdBlock Plus. These lots of ad, Flash extensions block not only those, but they can not and do not all ads block. If this is the path you choose, just head to the Addon Manager, enter 'Adblock' in the search field and install extensions referring to research. I do not use one of them myself, so I give my opinion on which of them, you need to install.
  (3) my personal way preferred: Set Adobe Flash "Click to play" on Firefox. This will keep the Flash Plugin on your computer, but will allow you to opt-in to each page to see what the plugin is set to display (you can always allow websites that you want to enable Flash automatically, it just will not be the default behavior for more).

• How to get rid of the redirect virus?

  I get random redirects when I open Web pages, how do I get rid of these?

  Yes, you can also use that as a last resort so just remove this extension does not resolve the issue.

  It would also be nice if you can relate if redirects stop after removing this fake flash extension - then I can arrange to make blocklisted, so that other users get too protected...
