• LIST OF KNOWN ISSUES FOR INDESIGN CC?

  I have CS3 and CS6 and also creative cloud.  Things that work on older programs do not work on the CC and I hesitate to upgrade my other computers.  Is there a list of known issues for CC?   (my preferences of color and thickness turn against zero when I do the lines and boxes).

• Kerning issue between InDesign CS5 in a single machine vs another

  I'm having a problem with the kerning of one machine to another in InDesign CS5. When we have customized kern a font in a single spacing of copy machine seems fine. When this file is opened in another machine, the alignment of the fonts all changes. If someone has encountered this problem, someone could find a solution? It does not appear that the ID is silicate kerning instructions in the file.

  You may or may not have seen my follow up post in the forum, but in my case it was a problem of different versions, 7.0 vs 7.03... I thought that the machines were at parity, but our group had updates disabled on my machine, even after I applied the update. Uninstalling and reinstalling indesign and then by the 7.03 update fixed the issue. Thanks for your help.

• Function call libraries issues

  I have a software development kit that I work with who provides (atmcd64d.lib and atmcd64d_internal.lib) .lib files and. DLL of the same name files that are located in my (x 86) /Program Files / National Instruments/LabVIEW 2013 / user.lib directory. I have a master .VI that contains lots of VI of this library. However, when I try to load the VI, it tries to find the. DLL file. I find manually the. DLL file for her. When loading, however, I get errors all my sub VI telling me that they are not executable due to an error.

  Follow this error all the way to the root, and I find that the library function node call said that the "library not found or failed to load." However, I can't change this library function node because it is in a VI that is in a library. So, I can't just point each VI to the appropriate library.

  In addition, your files have 64 in their names (indicating that they are 64-bit dll?), but the path is in Program Files (x 86), indicating that your LV is 32-bit. I'm pretty sure you cannot load 64-bit dll into a 32-bit process, but I don't have the experience to say what would happen if you actually try.

• Adobe DPS - tutorial video drop-down panels for digital issue of Indesign Magazine?

  Try to get information in a video tutorial to tutorial drop-down panels for a Digital Magazine, I'm working on.

  Had any advice for a multi object - State - but that's exactly what I need to and I'd love a video link I (everything is around f).

  This is the best way to attack this as a beginner.

  Create an InDesign file MultiPage with number of pages being equal to the

  number of States desired for your MSO.

  On the first page, design the base state. Copy and paste everything in the second

  page and now design the second State.

  And until you have finished. Now the group everything on each page and

  Copy / paste in place everything in a single page. Create the ASM.

  This will give you a pretty heavy file, but will give you a good

  Foundation for the thought process required to do this.

  What language? You will need to use Adobe world ready paragraph composer.

  The problem I have is when printing.

• Large Volume of data merge issues with Indesign CS5

  I recently started to use Indesign CS5 to design a piece of mail marketing which requires the fusion of data from Microsoft Excel.  With small spots up to 100 pieces, I don't have any problems.  However, I need to merge 2 000-5 000 items of data through Indesign on a daily basis and my lap top current was not able to manage the merger of more than 250 pieces at a time, and the merge process 250 takes 30-45 minutes if I have the chance and the software not crushed.

  To resolve this problem, I bought a desktop computer with a second generation processor Core i7 and 8 GB of memerory, thinking that would solve my problem.  I tried to merge the track 1,000 of data with this new computer, and I was forced to restart Adobe Indesign after 45 minutes of no results.  I then merged 500 pieces and the task was completed, but the process took less than 30 minutes.

  I need help with this problem because I can't find another software which can design my mail merge the way that Indesign can, however, the time it takes to merge large volumes of data is very frustrating because the software crash from time to time the after waiting a good 30-45 minutes to complete.

• I have URLs link issues in InDesign CC 2015. 19 total of images, only 5 first jobs, show all green in InDesign.

  I was on a call for help about 2 hours and they do not seem to help. Someone here has this problem and how can I solve this problem? The images appearing to work the links dotted. Those who do not, do not have the contour. Once again, all attached links are green display as in the fact that they have to work.

  So, I suggest that you create a no fill/no frames of race on the images and then convert them to a button. Set the action, like going to the URL and add the URL like that.

  Hello! My plant InDeisgn-documents that several times every hour. This problem started when I upgraded to the latest version of InDesign in June.

  It happens more often when I'm working with effects, but it happens in time even when I work with other stuff in my InDesign documents.

• Can I add indesign object styles to my creative cloud library?

  I have an object style that I use on the screenshots in my InDesign documents to give them a shadow and rounded striped black mount.

  I normally keep this style in my template, but once from time to time I like to use in another document which is not based on this model, so I usually have open, copy and paste the screenshot with the object in my new document style and then reapply the style of the object (which is imported) for the desired screenshot.

  I was wondering, with the integration of libraries CC in InDesign, I could save the style of the object directly to the library?

  Object styles are not moveable in CC libraries. Do not forget, that the function is cross-application (also works with Illustrator CC, CC of Photoshop and other applications). Libraries of InDesign objects are necessarily InDesign only.

  But you have found the best solution: when you drag an InDesign object, it copies an extract file (which contains all styles) and a PDF file in the CC library. An application like Illustrator or Photoshop can set the PDF file, the extract is used when copying to InDesign. It will add the Style to the object if you move it to another InDesign file.

• CC - unable to connect to the server libraries

  Hi all

  Libraries that I create in InDesign (2014.2) does not synchronize with creative cloud. And also the other way around, when I create a library on the site of the CC, the library does not appear in my libraries Panel in InDesign.

  After the screenshot below, I am unable to connect to the server, but I am able to access the site of the CC on this computer.

  Ideas or workarounds?

  

  It seems that it is all back to normal again. I have nothing else, just waited for a solution. It should be something with Adobe servers indeed. Everything is working now and my library finally again synchronize the two CC 2014.2.2 CC 2014.1.1 of Illustrator and InDesign CC 2014.2 Photoshop.

• Adobe Indesign CC out of memory error / accident while scrolling

  As I travel on my document InDesign (on a MAC), I get an error message saying that I'm "OUT OF MEMORY" when I scroll with the SPACEBAR on the keyboard scroll bar and or a document. I just updated a new patch through Adobe InDesign and restarted my computer several times.

  I checked all the configurations setting, all paths include the headers and static libraries point to InDesign CC SDK.

  Note: Get these errors from the linker in all UI component class objects where the following interfaces are inherited:

  CTreeViewWidgetMgr

  CIDEditBoxEventHandler

  etc.

  Build environment:  Windows 7 ultimate + Visual Studio 2010 SP1 + InDesign products SDK Build 244 CC
