CC of Photoshop for PC - ctrl-alt-arrow key does nothing

I installed Photoshop CC on a new PC, and the combination of keys ctrl-alt-arrow does nothing. He used to reduce the area of framing around pixels and move the selection by 1 pixel. Now, it does nothing. Using shift-ctrl-alt-arrow shrinks the selection around the pixel rectangle and move the selection of 10 pixels, meaning that it is supposed to do. Any help is appreciated.

I got this in Windows 7 with my driver Intel HD 4000 as well. Enabling auto-start for the Intel Graphics Control panel was the problem. He caught in the trap of the combination of keys Ctrl-Alt arrow, but not the Shift-Ctrl-Alt-arrow key combination.

If the solution is simple http://superuser.com/questions/796396/how-to-disable-igfxhk-module-process-from-starting-u p-with-windows

I just went into msconfig > Services tab, deselected "Intel HD Graphics Control Panel Service" and restarted the PC.

You will always have access to the graphical control panel, but Ctrl-Alt-arrow is no longer blocked in Photoshop.

my windows xp screen is upside down.  I tried Ctrl + Alt + arrows and it does not work.

    Hi milton the monster.

Check in Control Panel to see if you have a NVidia Control Panel or ATI Control Center icon. You have will depend on which video card to install on your PC. Click the NVidia or ATI and open Center Control Panel. Look carefully at the options and you should see an option for "rotate screen". Click on it and press the appropriate option to rotate the screen in an upright position.

Looks like a shortcut key turned on the side windows vista and when I try to press ctrl + alt + arrow to turn common sense will not work.  I hope someone can help.

Press Ctrl & Alt keys and use the arrows to rotate back.

According to the graphics card on your computer, these can be alternatives.

Right click on the desktop | Graphics options | Rotation.

Right click on the desktop | Screen resolution | Orientation.

    Hi StkY,

The ability to reverse/do rotate the screen is a feature of the graphics cards drivers.

Method 1: Turn off the hot key feature.

Right-click on the desktop > graphic properties Hit > Hot Keys > remove or turn off shortcut keys of

    Or

Method 2: Change you the combinations of keys for your travel to game in control of the game options.

  • No mode of the Tablet CTRL + ALT + DELETE key or Windows security?

I just bought a laptop / Tablet HP TX2-1020US that came with Vista Home Premium.  Good so far.  I upgraded to OS to Vista Ultimate and my original SBS2008 domain-joined and worked on a large too.

The problem is: when I'm in tablet mode, no button is "Windows Security" referred to in the prompt "press CTRL + ALT + DELETE or Windows security" in the starting System.  I end up having to convert portable mode, press CAD and convert again in tablet mode and use the biometric login each time.  Same thing to unlock the machine after an invocation of the screensaver, etc..

HP support says they don't support "as sold" configuration, even if I am invited for an upgrade as it sets up for the first time, I am on my own if I do.  Not a very "the computer's personal again' approach to customer service... ;-)

I thought I could reassign a touch on the surface of the Tablet--maybe the button "Mediasmart" I wouldn't need otherwise.  But the upgrade apparently took a toll on that too since the dialog box control Tablet PC Panel, in the general and the tabs button, I decidedly enigmatic after the upgrade and the tablet button ID is displayed as @BttnCmn.DLL,-2, -9, -7, etc. (for example the change in screen orientation button is @BttnCmn.DLL,-9).

I would appreciate a solution that is running boards - the need to press CTRL + ALT + DELETE and brings me directly to where a slip of the finger is a login, or a reallocation of button so I could tap without having to disable-tablet-mode each time.

    Thanks in advance,
    Richard

    And one possible answer is:

    1. Administrative Tools | Local security policy
    2. (Elevation of privilege)
    3. Local policies | Security options
    4. Interactive logon to change: don't require CTRL + ALT + DELETE to "Undefined" to "Enabled".
    5. Close local security policy tool.

CTRL + ALT + DELETE screen is bypassed, and the login screen is used instead (for which the fingerprint reader works fine).

    Thank you
    Richard

  • Change a network password does not appear is not on the Ctrl-Alt-Del keys change password

On Windows 7, I pressed Ctrl-Alt-Delete, then chose to change password. I clicked on the connected on tiles for the "Admin" user, then pressed the button other credentials, then shows the logged on user tile and Insert a smart card tile, it did not show the tile 'change a network password '. Do you know in what situation am I able to change a network password? Thank you!

I don't know why it should not work on your machine, but you can reset your password like this:
    1. click on start.
    2. type the three letters cmd in the search box.
    3. press on Ctrl + Shift + Enter
    4. click on "run as Administrator".
    5. type the following command:
    NET user "user %%nom" xxyyzz {Enter}
(Replace the password you want to use xxyyzz)

  • Shortcut Ctrl + Shift + arrow key doesn't seem to work

I only started using Windows 7 a few days ago (new computer came pre-installed), and I seem not to be able to select text by using the shortcut keys Ctrl + Shift + key management (to select text). Because it is a little the keystone of what I do for a living (writing and editing text), I'm naturally upset.

I don't know if it's because for one reason or another the shortcut no longer exists in Windows 7 (but I expected more hits from google and General hoohah if this is the case), or maybe because I mucked with the locale of Windows when he started everything first. After all, Ctrl + Shift is here as a possible shortcut to change the settings (which suggests a potential conflict). I had trouble original, namely how to replace the default Windows come with locales and eventually remove and reconfigure the settings several times until I got what I wanted. Maybe I saw something up along the way without realizing it?

Right now I use the keyboard layout United States (native English), UK regional settings (date time, etc.), but have a German version of Windows, if it has been initially implemented differently. I made sure that Ctrl + Shift is NOT selected as a shortcut to change the language settings - basically he has that one language, set up and all the shortcuts are disabled in the window.

I had also several popups triggered inadvertently accessibility and have no idea how I responded to them. I disabled everything that I could find in this regard to little too (as again the Ctrl and shift keys can behave differently).

I have two keyboards, and both have the same problem; I tested this on a XP computer, and the shortcut works very well-only is not the keyboard.

I found someone else asking the same question elsewhere on the net, but it is impossible to find an answer...

    So:
The shortcut still exists (I guess for this)
No idea how to get it back?

Solved the problem - was not Windows, it's the stupid software that came with my screen using the same shortcuts. Disabled the software, everything works again.

  • Is there a way to change the ctrl + alt + delete keys unlock to not require the password in Windows XP - SP3 computer?

I hit CRL + ALT + DEL to lock my computer (XP SP3). When I press CRL + ALT + DELETE to open a session back (unlock) is application name to username/password instead of just remember my user name and only to enter the password.  How can I just change this behavior just ask for my password?
