Cc of Photoshop keeps freezing computer
So I just got Photoshop CC and my computer seems to have a lot of trouble, just the race for more than 2 minutes. I tried to lower the ram it uses, disable the gpu and changed "scratch disks" to see if that would do anything, but it doesn't seem to work. I check my graphics card and it said its updated. I updated my computer also and it still does not work. I saw someone say to try to reset the preferences and that seems to work for like a minute, and then it would freeze again. It is so bad to the point where I can't even do ctrl + alt + delete to get to the Task Manager or right click on the taskbar and clicking Start Task Manager.
My physical characteristics are:
Windows 7
Intel Core i7 - 2600 K @ 3.40 Hz CPU
16.0 GB of ram
64-bit operating system
AMD radeon hd 7700 series
Any help would be great. Every time I tried to do a different test, it freezes and I had to do a hard reboot every time. I don't even get a blue screen of death, everything stops.
So I was able to understand that if I checked all the hard drives to be used as a scratch disk that it actually works very well now. I have 4 hard drives I have used, and everything is very smooth. I opened documents, rearranged, panels, etc. There is no slowdown whatsoever.

see you soon,
AmandaIt is not easy to say why this happen, but I think it's certainly software related issue.
I don't know how much experience do you have with the operating systems and are you ready to look for a problem or you want to solve this problem quickly. If you want to quick fix use Toshiba recovery disc and reinstall the OS. With the own operating system preinstalled, everything should be OK again.
Otherway follow the instructions I found on the internet:
------------------------------
I have a few here that might solve the problem.First of all, I suggest that you start the computer in safe mode and of control; safe mode starts Windows with a limited set of files and drivers. Startup programs do not run in safe mode, and only the basic drivers needed to start Windows are installed that, follow these steps to start the computer in safe mode with networking:
(A.) to restart the computer using safe mode, restart the computer and press the F8 key for about four to five times. Appears in safe mode listed in the advanced options of Windows. Select Safe Mode, and then press ENTER.
Now check if you are able to work with your programs, if you are able to start the computer in safe mode only, then the problem may be with all the conflicting startup items on your computer.
(B) you may need to perform the clean boot on your computer, to help troubleshoot error messages and other issues, you can start Windows Vista by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
The following link has steps showing how to perform the clean boot: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135
(1) perform the clean boot (check the link to perform the clean boot)
(2) enable half the services
(3) determine whether the problem returns
(4) enable half of the startup items
(5) determine if the problem returns
(6) repeat the steps above until you find out which program or service is causing the issueAfter you determine the startup item or the service that is causing the problem, contact the manufacturer of the program to determine if the problem can be solved. Or, run the System Configuration utility, and then click to clear the check box of the element of the problem.
Note: Please make sure that the computer is configured to start as usual according to step 7 of the article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135
If the problem persists, I suggest that you perform a scan of the file system [SFC] checker on the computer, this replaces the corrupt system files with system Version of Windows on the computer files, follow these steps to perform a scan:
I suggest to empty the temp folder and later, follow these steps:
i. Click Start > type % temp % in the start search box > press on enter > delete everything present in the temp folder.
1. Click Start and type cmd in the box start the search.
2. right click on cmd in the list programs and then click Run as administrator.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue
3. at the command calls, the following line and press ENTER: sfc/scannowWhen the analysis is complete, test to see if the problem you are experiencing is resolved.

Computer laptop G62 keeps freezing
For the last two days, my laptop G62 - 227 CL keeps freezing once I used it for about 5-10 minutes. It freezes completely - no cursor movement or response to all keys. In addition, it freezes any programs I am running.
However, I am able to use the computer in Mode safe mode with network without any point of freezing (so far; I was in Mode without fail for about 30 minutes). Unfortunately, I need to use MS Word, which does not work in Mode without failure.
I use the computer entirely on the current because the battery is pretty much kaput. Could be the problem? If so, I'm confused as to how the computer can operate in Mode without failure. I can't afford a new battery, so I hope that there is just some sort of software problem.
Is there some kind of diagnosis I can run who can tell me what is the problem, or if anyone else has had this problem?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Hello
You are welcome
From your description of the issue and the HARD drive error code, it seems that the player is running out - is one of the reasons for which a failing drive will run in Mode safe because it experiences less load (in terms of read/write) when Windows is running in this mode.
The first thing I recommend is to back up all your personal files etc so that you always have access - lack of readers can be unpredictable.
Once completed, see if the following is helpful at all.
Start in Safe Mode, click the Start Menu, click computer, left click Local disk C once to highlight, right-click on Local C drive and select Properties. Click the Tools tab and then click on the button "check the drive for errors. In the next window make sure that both boxes are checked, then click Start. Right plan the audit on the next reboot of the system, and then restart the laptop - this process can take several hours before the load in Windows.
If there is no improvement real time this is over, it is probably time to think about replacing the HARD drive - if you want a guide on this procedure, please let me know.
Kind regards

original title: computer freezes liked.
My computer is a Packard Bell Imedia 1328. I use Windows XP Home Edition, Service Pack 3. My computer went haywire. It keeps freezing on and does not turn. If I delete an email I've read, he often removes 2 at a time. When I open an email, it appears in a small package on top of the normal size open. I assumed I had a virus for a fulll with Microsoft Security Essentials, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware scan and used the full range of Uniblue Power Suite. No problems have been disclosed but the problem persists. My computer is like me, too old and falling apart, or can it be saved? I am a money, self-taught surfer, step by step in plain English would be appreciated. Thank you very much.
I would recommend not using software uniblue, instead use following:
Make sure your system is clean first. (which I think have made you)
use ccleaner to get rid of junkfiles http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download
preform disk cleanup and defragmentation in order to improve the performance of your system.
do not use unistall programs u.
Make sure your windows is uptodate and drivers work correctly and that they are as uptodate.
Use http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html to protect your pc against spyware, adware etc and keep it uptodate then use firefox as your browser
only use the block announcement more, no script and WOT for safer web browsing for firefox.
go to msconfig (type in the search box in startmenu then press enter) then prepare your computer to clean boot by disabling all startup items and any of the services of windows, and then restart your computer. See if it makes a difference? If she did then you should know which ones caused to slow down your pc.
minimize your startup programs in msconfig (type in there search box in Start menu, and then press enter)
try to check your drive for errors and also run the SFC (sfc) system through cmd (run cmd as administrator, and then type sfc/scannow)

Ensure that your data is backed up / copied to external media. It seems that your PC has a hardware problem. If it's a name brand PC, for example Dell / HP etc it may have preinstalled utility test read the manual or manufacturer's web site
If it's a generic PC, then your machine to HD will have a free test bootable utility, for example SeaTools from Seagate
