  Same thing here.  Looks like Windows did an automatic update during the night, and now nothing iCloud associated work (calendars, contacts, etc.)

  I also noticed that the error message: "could not load file or Assembly ' MOM." Implementation ' or one of its dependencies.  The system cannot find the specified file. "It started after restarting the Windows Update as well.  I imagine that the two are related in the same problem to iCloud.

  After that update Thunderbird was installed yesterday, the works of default account, the second account does not work. flash error message dropped something on the server an ora network problem. Don't stay long enough to copy. Has worked with FAI for an hour (they were connected on my machine). All the settings are correct. We have removed the account and rebuilt three times, has failed every time with the same message. only difference found in settings between account was in the Local Directory:

  Go to your desktop and double-click the file name fixme.reg

  Restart the PC and try to install the updates again

  or

  Click Start.

  Type regedit in the search field and press to enter.

  On the registry change windows click on file and select import.

  Navigate to the location where the fixme.reg file and select the file.

  Click ok on the windows screen once the registry is merged successfully.

  Restart computer and check if updates installs.

  * We had system mechanic and I uninstalled it since I discovered that it corrupted my windows installer.

The error says I need to check your internet connection.  I checked the connection and it worked.  Also in IE8 I logged into my Netflix account and released a video of my Instant queue.  This proves that my internet connection and a Netflix account working. I tried to re-login to Netflix of WMC, but once again the message on checking the internet connection appears.  I restarted the PC, but that did not fix the problem. Netflix I uninstalled and reinstalled, no not yet fixed.  Can anyone help?  I've been a happy user of WMC-Netflix for several months (so far).  Notice, 2 security patches Windows automatically installed yesterday before I tried to use Netflix.

  Since neither updates Jan - 10 have installed, I'm going to hand you Support MS in the hope that they can resolve the problem. See below.

  That being said, is an interpretation of the 80070017 - cyclic redundancy check error "a device attached to the system does not work," which suggests that a hardware problem might be the cause of the error (although I must say that it is a very low possibility in this case).
