• Inactive space in the window of brush presets

  It is a very unusual thing. I decided to re - install photoshop, but when I opened it, the control panel preselections of brush on the right has a very weird space under the slider of brush size that I can't do anything with. When I switch on I get sort of a do not enter sign. Clicking on it does not help, and the window closing and reopening it don't work either. It's right here too much room and it really kills me. I can't find anything related to this, but someone has an idea what it is?

  

  But have you used the brush and changed the tip of the brush a couple of times?  My gut feeling is that this isn't the problem, because even if there is "recent" brushes to display, it should still be a ready for when there are empty window.  I would definitely check the permissions, but if there is a problem it will not for general preferences because they save OK, but check the path to the other presets.

• What should I use to draw lines on a map?

  Is it a drawing of the tool that you can attach to your computer to draw lines? The cursor is not precise enough to draw lines on a map (jpeg). Is there a tool I can buy and fix to draw on my screen using PS?

  Thank you post again - I recommend no doubt using the pen for what you are trying to do. Trying to map free hand lines is very difficult, but the pen tool offers precise control. I have outlined some steps for you to follow below.

  1. open your image and select the Pen tool from the toolbar, as shown below.

  

  2. I would recommend zoom in your image to make it easier for you to track on the lines of the complex plane. To do this, select view > Zoom In, or hitting "control +" (Windows) or ' command + ' (Mac) on your keyboard.

  

  3. then create a new layer by clicking the new layer in the layers panel, as shown below. Draw your lines of card on a new layer to preserve your original map image in case you make a mistake or want to start over.

  

  4 using the Pen tool, tracing on the lines of the map of your boot image. Here I begin to Bellevue and suite I90 to Ellensburg. Using the tool pen takes some practice. To get detailed help about how to use the pen tool, watch videos of Terry White I linked in my previous post.

  

  5. Once you have finished tracing over the lines of the map, go in the tracks Panel by clicking on the "Paths" tab in your layers panel.

  

  6. in the tracks Panel, click the icon of the path highlighted below. This caresseront the way you created using your most recent Brush tool settings - I will go into this more again to the next step.

  

  7. you can see that the way that I created with my pen tool has been rubbed with yellow and aligns very well with the original line of the card. You can change the size and color of your run by selecting the Brush tool in the toolbar and clicking the tools described below.

  

  8. when I have to zoom out, you can see I have drawn precisely the line of the card. I did it very quickly so with patience, you can create extremely accurate map lines.

  

  I highly recommend watching the video of Terry White on how to use the pen tool. The pen tool is the best way to create very relevant and precise lines apart from the purchase of an external drawing tablet.

• It cannot create a brush in PS CC or CC2014.  Can anyone help?  Define preset shape is not highlighted for me to choose.

  When I go to create a brush like on every article I can find my DEFINE FORM PREDEFINED button is not available for me to click on.  I asked another photographer with the same CC2014 of the PS and its works very well.  Any help or suggestion?

  The answer is that brush cannot be more than 2500 x 2500 pixels.  I reduced my image and it worked perfectly!  So make sure that your image size is 2500 pixels or less.  Julie

• Created in Adobe brush brushes appear in PS CC2014, but not PCCC2015 - me or them?

  Created several brushes and saved to the PS format. They appear correctly, in the library I attribute them to use PS CC 2014, but the same access the PS CC 2015, libraries are not there. Suggestions. Thank you.

  Answered my own question - reset the preferences file and now it's fine. Don't know what who was wobbly as the brushes of the dnuee is concerned, but all good to go now.

• Recently upgrade to Lightroom 4 and adjustment brush does nothing.

  I click on the brush and reset all the sliders with the exception of exposure, for example.  I have set to brush and start brushing on the target area.  Nothing happens and does not show the red mask overlay on brushed surface.  Use Mac 10.6.8.  I have also several catalogs upgrade - catalog Lightroom 3-2, -3 and -4.  I'd rather have a single.

  Check the flow rate (how long the effect accumulates) and density (how high it can go).

• I recently installed plugins of brush (fire, stars and glitter) I was not able to change the color of the brush since. Anyone has any advice on how to remedy this situation?

  Sorting, I put a pallet of each color in a library and used it works a treat!

  It's in the preferences-> GPU performance, you have to uncheck 'enable animation Zoom '.

  Hello - I'm a developer on the team of fresh paint.

  At present, we are provided limited support for sensitivity to pressure on devices that support of pressure.  It is the control of the dynamic brush only we provide outside the user interface.  In addition, we are not provided a way to understand the rotation and angle of contact with the canvas to paint brush.  In short, for our latest version of the application of the fresh paint, the brushes all have a uniform rotation and angle to the surface of the painting.

• Malfunction of automatic mask brush

  Hey guys, iv works in lightroom for a few years now and have been using the tool of shape mask car for a long time.

  But iv recently downloaded the new lightroom and I try to select my RAW files with automask sections for editing, but it selects the edges as the brush with the mask auto turn off.

  If anyone has seen this problem before and knows how to fix, please send through help!

  I'm not sure I understand your logic - "he selects the edges as the brush with auto mask turns off."

  In order to follow with an exchange of views to see if you really have a problem-

  With the 'off' Automask brush does not select the edges!

  1. with Automask 'off', the brush changes all pixels located under brush.

  If brush on the area of blue sky with automask 'off' - the Green overlay shows where the brush adjusts.

  

  2. with Automask 'on', the center of the brush hair cross chooses the tone of image pixel to change, and only similar tones are amended by the brush stroke.

  Then brush on the area of blue sky with automask 'on' - and the Green overlay shows where only the blue of the sky is adjusted - as is the tone where I first clicked the brush to choose the ringtone of pixel. (I didn't click the brush on the red zone!)

  

• Draw in Illustrator for IOS-custom brush only premium?

  I recently acquired an iPad Pro 12.9 and Illustrator installed draw. I also have an Adobe ID, associated with a Creative cloud application (not the sequel CC). When I was doing experiments with Illustrator draw, I double tapped on a brush that shows custom cursors. When I typed on the cursor icon, he has to tell me what to use premium and limited free users.

  I'm a bit confused about that. Does this mean that I have to pay a subscription or buy this feature so that it works? I think I saw the same thing happen on the Photoshop sketch, too.

  Any clarification would be great.

  Hi Adam,.

  At present, all the features and settings in the draw are accessible to all.

  At some point, there may be (it's something being discussed) features that will only be available on Creative subscribers cloud (brush settings is one of those). Alerts are because we want that people know what are the features those perhaps in the future (I do not suspect that we would never far subscribers non - Creative Cloud without notice).

  Can someone please teach me how to use the healing brush and the patch tool? I didn't get the video!

  Also some examples of a recent wedding:

  In the first, I used the Healing Brush tool spot, value "Content Aware" to paint on a sheet at the foot clamps in a wedding photography. It was literally just paint on leave and then releasing the mouse button (or a pen) and Photoshop filled in the region.

  

  

  

  The second was an area with the pattern and the spot Healing Brush tool could not match the pattern exactly

  I chose the region of the offending piece of the grass, the patch the Source value tool, and then drag the selection to another box patch until the model matched. When you release the mouse, Photoshop has mixed model

  

  

  

  The third was the abolishment of a from offending lamp from a background.

  In this case, I used the Healing Brush tool.

  I selected the source (i.e., what part of the image to paint with) whenever by holding down the ALT key while clicking on and then painted on the station. By choosing a variety of sources in different parts of the background, I have avoided the repetition of pattern tree.

• Transfer of the CS6 to CC brushes

  I recently installed CC and cannot locate the brushes I have cs ^ How can I transfer CS6 CC Photoshop brushes

  You can save brushes and brush presets in CS6 and load them in CC.  Brushes will have extension brush and predefined tools have .tpl extension.  You should also be able to migrate predefined using Photoshop menu Edit > Presets > migrate Presets and Edit menu > Presets > Import/Export of Presets...

• Brushes

  I've used photoshop for years. I have installed it on my PC, but recently I bought a new PC and decided to pay monthly fees for photoshop. Why my brushes look so different Palace. When I click right it isn't look the same and I can not use parentheses to change the size of the brush.

  Check my copy of CC 2015.5 (Mac), it's the square brackets [and] that change the size of the brush, not parentheses (and), which are also called the "brackets".

  When you right click on the brush, you will see the Panel preset . Depends on how how to set you up.

  

  If you choose the command window > brush, you get the Panel the brush that lets you fine tune your brush features.

  

• Illustrator export to PSD causing of custom brushes to look "rough".

  I've recently updated to version 2015.3 of Illustrator and now when I export my files .ai to one. Lines PSD with a custom brush applied pattern look jerky.

  I reinstalled the old version and one is doing the same thing. I enclose some images to illustrate (large images to view details).

  Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated

  You don't need "regular" and the artistic forms. You can do this with only artistic shapes.
