    I want vista also.
    Please help me

And I need driver sound and video drivers for windows 2003...

    Please help me

    It is very simply;
Your operating system server Win 2003 a damage and crushed to the Vista Boot Manager menu and therefore you don't get the Vista Boot Manager.

You just lucky to get this Vista Manager startup is again to boot from the ORIGINAL Vista MS DVD. He undertakes to repair the boot loader, and you will be able to start in Vista.

Then, you need to install the EasyBCD tool. It of free and this tool helps you to understand the additional operating systems in the Vista Boot Manager.

PS: Win 2003 Server drivers are not available. You could check if some drivers Win XP would work on this laptop.

    > After I tried to start windows so was in error "missing operating system". I managed to install WINDOWS XP, so I could access HDD RECOVERY but nothing happened.

The installation of Win XP has damage and remove the Boot Manager and options preinstalled by Toshiba and backed by Toshiba picture.

This means that if you will be unable to retrieve the device using the drive HARD recovery option.

You could retrieve the device back to factory settings using only the Toshiba recovery disc! But I guess that you didn't create this disk is good?

Well, in this case, you can order this disc from here:

  • Satellite A300D-126 downgrade Vista to XP

    Hi all

I bought the laptop Toshiba Satellite A300D, model 126, with Windows Vista Home Premium (PSAK4E).
These days I tried to install Windows XP Professional with SP2 on my laptop.

First, I made a new partition (D :) for the new operating system.
I installed the OS XP on the D: drive. I expect to be able to choose between the two OS (Vista and XP) when I start the computer.
After you have installed all the drivers for XP, I took on the Toshiba site, I realized the SM Bus controller driver is still not installed.

Where can I get this driver?
Secondly, how can I choose between two operating systems when you start the computer?

    Thank you.

    Hello

First of all I hope that you have created a Toshiba Recovery disk in order to recover the laptop if something will go wrong.

Now to your installation of Win XP.
The installation of Win XP has damaged the Vista Boot Manager.
If you want to start the two BONES, then you will have to boot from the original Microsoft Vista disc to repair the boot manager.
After the boot manager has been repaired and you started the Vista device you can use a tool called Vista Boot Pro to include the Win XP to the Vista boot loader.

    See you soon

  • Satellite 5005-S504, error of bad Machine.

    Hello

I have a laptop of Satellite 5005-S504. I try to run the recovery and the Configuration Builder CD that came with the computer you. Only, I get the error of 'machine wrongly' on the screen.

I must say that I had to change the CD player, because the original was damaged. The original CD player was a Matsu * a UJDA710 DVD/CD-RW combo. I replaced by a Matsu * a UJDA750 combo DVD/CD-RW drive.

Someone tell me something about the string "DMI", but I don't know what is and how to set it up to do the recovery work CD.

    I thank you.

    Hi danielgaspar76,

It seems that the recovery CD can not initialize the motherboard of your laptop (String DMI) information.
If this failure Message is displayed. It does not depend on the player you're using.
So for the time being, you have no other solution to find your laptop. First of all, at need to contact Toshiba Service partner who wrote the correct information on your motherboard.
After that, you can use your recovery again cd without problem.

    Good bye

  • Is it possible to get 3 primary partitions on a SATA HDD?

It seems a simple question, but I'd like some opinions on this. I have Vista pre-installed but not bootable in addition to a bootable XP.

I want to add a 3rd OS to share the boot with XP keeping Vista on the reserve. I know that there is another main partition of the SATA drive, WinRE, the recovery for Vista partition.

So, in reality, there are 4 primary partitions, both bootable. Could there be any problem with that?

    Thanks for any comments.

Yes, you can create 3 primary partitions.

My laptop is using dual boot option I use XP and Vista. The two BONES are bootable.

First, I installed Vista. Then, I created 3rd partition using Vista disk management settings.
Then I installed XP on the new partition.

After this procedure, I was not able to start the Vista once again because the Win XP has damage the panoramas start Manager. It was only a small matter. I could renew the boot manager of Vista boot from the Vista CD and selecting the repair option.

Finally, I installed BootVis (it s a Vista Boot Manager management tool) and could add the XP to the Boot Manager.
Of course it is possible to add other OS, but I think than XP and Vista is sufficient.

Perhaps this brief description can help you add new BONE.

    Best regards

  • Can't stop my laptop using Shut down option under XP

When I click on my closure logo on my laptop, the computer just seems that he is trying for a few seconds and then returns to a normal situation.

  • Windows XP installation with blue screen

    Hello

I'm trying to reinstall windows on my laptop that I think he had a virus.  I have managed to reformat my hard drive and that he was trying to run FDISK, but this does not seem to recognize my hard drive (I think).

When I try to load Windows from my CD I get say blue screen

A problem has been detected and windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer.  If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check for viruses on your computer.  Remove and newly installed hard drives or hard drive controllers. Check your hard drive to ensure that it is

properly configured and completed.  Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer.

    Technical information:

    STOP: 0X0000007B (0XF7C82524, 0XC0000034, 0X00000000, 0X00000000)

Can someone please help me because I'm at a complete loss what to try next.  I tried and run chkdsk from a follpy disc of ms - dos 6.2, but it told me that I need to run scandisk instead that has not solved anything.

Oh and I also tried another disc hard incase my original was damaged but keep did the same thing.  The disc also had Windows XP previously.

It is possible that the laptop is designed for Windows Vista only. If there is no Windows XP drivers for the hardware, you're out of luck. You will need to do some research to see if this computer laptop Advent 5431 has XP drivers available. This will help you get started:

    http://www.Google.com/search?q=advent+5431+XP+drivers&btnG=search&hl=en&source=HP&gs_sm=e&gs_upl=781l2625l0l4234l11l9l0l2l2l0l203l893l1.5.1l7l0&OQ=advent+5431+XP+drivers&AQ=f&AQI=&aql=

If there is indeed XP drivers available (you will need to get these first and have them on hand because they will have to be installed immediately after installing the OS), then your problem is the laptop computer that should allow you to select a floppy with the SATA drivers. If this isn't an option, you can probably access the BIOS and change a setting for the controller to IDE hard drive or "legacy" or something in that sense.

Since it is a hardware problem than a problem of Windows, you might be better off posting to a forum of users of laptop Advent.

It is possible that Vista may be the only option.

  • Windows XP license & reformat

My computer got a virus attack, after execution of 'unhide.exe', many issues are still "empty".  for example the folder empty system - so 'disk cleanup' & 'Defrag' tools are not available.  And do not know what other services of Win XP is no longer available.  Plan to reformat the computer.

Reminder: To reformat, I need Win XP on this computer virus damaged disc, but I couldn't find it.   Instead, I found the disk Win XP on my other XP computer intact.

Thanks for the info from this forum, I was able to find the key Code Win XP this damaged computer.

Question: Can I use the disk Win XP (not owned the damaged computer) to re - install Win XP on the damaged computer.

If I can, should what key code I use:

    (1) key code printed on disk Win XP (my other healthy computer has already installed.)

    (2) or the code of the key to the Win XP from the damaged computer.  (I could find this key code by running a program seen on this forum).

    Thank you very much.

    Skip

    Hi Skip,

Are both the computer of the same brand? If Yes, you can use the CD to install the operating system, but do not forget to use the product of the computer key - in your case you are installing the operating system from cd - the computer healthy I use the same words :) to the damaged machine, you must use the product key from damaged computer.

Locked Operating system means that you can not install the operating system from the disk of a band of another brand of computer for an example of use of Dell (recovery or operating system) CD you can not install the operating system on an HP/Acer /... PC, etc.

    I hope this helps.

  • When I boot computer I get this message... Remove the c:/System Volume Information directory. EFaDATA\SYMEFA. DB-log is corrupted and unreadable

When I boot computer I get this message... Remove the c:/System Volume Information directory. EFaDATA\SYMEFA. DB-Journal is damaged and unreadable... How to fix this?

Thank you very much for your help.
I discovered the new external hard drive was the problem. Formatted as NTFS seems to be a problem so I reformatted to FAT and the problem disappeared.
The error message was: the journal of System Volume Information EfaData SYMFA DB file or directory is corrupted and unreadable.

    Thanks again.

  • Paint does not open

By clicking on it, he said

"There is not enough memory or resources to complete the operation close some programs, and then try again."

The problem is that you can close all the programs, but it does not help. I tried to open an existing jpeg and save it in the paint, he worked me no intrigues, no end.

The fact is that the only way that I can save an image Word - is not ideal.

That doesn't sound like too much pressure on system resources, and since you mentioned the name of file of paint that you have found, that it resembles the original is damaged or missing.  I would try this:

Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files

  • No application when trying to open programs

original title: damage after the virus - help?

I was attacked by a virus last (Vista 2011). I used malicious software to get rid off the coast and everything seemed fine at first.

However, I noticed that I can not open a single application. No IE, no Media Player, messenger even not. Not a single application opens without window asking me what program I want to open and IE giving only as an option before you send me the Microsoft page, telling me there is something wrong with the files.

I managed to work around the IE does not, and found things like problems with my registry mentioned online. When I tried to run regedit it says application not found - which tells me that there is a serious problem somewhere.

Also, it is said in my lower right corner updated Windows Installer % 0 but nothing that really happens. Normally, by right-clicking on it, it should bring up a screen but it is not popping up. I tried introducing via the Control Panel, but when I clicked on the security, said that there was not.

I am at a loss about what to do - anyone got any ideas on what might have happened? What is the rest of the virus? If it has damaged my registry and did something get deleted? Also, if I download anything (I tried to circumvent the failure in IE by downloading Google Chrome, it will let me download the file but not open it without asking once again with what program I want to run - I'm going along in circles)

All the tips and suggestions are grealty appreciated. Thank you.

    Hello

    see if that helps

    http://www.Winhelponline.com/blog/restore-exe-file-Asso-Windows-7-Vista-incorrectly-associated/

    and this

    also run the sfc/scannow command.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

Use the (SFC.exe) System File Checker tool to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click principally madeprograms,Accessories, right-clickguest, and then clickrun as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or clickallow.
    2. Type the following command and press ENTER:
      sfc/scannow

The sfc/scannow command analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions

If SFC detects the main problems it can't fix you may need to borrow a Microsoft dvd vista not an acer, HP etc. recovery disk and do a repair installation

read the below tutorial on how to perform a repair installation
