CD player will not read a certain disc.

I recently bought a game. Just today, in fact (new, not used) and put it in the disc drive. He did... some sounds as if she was trying to read it, then everything just stopped. You have disk problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD &)
Burn DVDs and CDs and read DVDs). So it is not unusual for 1 or 2 parts to no function
while others are doing so correctly.

Burning at low speed, or by using the master could help. A CD/DVD cleaner
could help.

Brand of the CD or DVD drive can also be the problem. Low quality (cheap brands) are always
issue.

CD/DVDs have a tolerance + - and your can read/write on the outside edge
tolerances of the disks. They may be delivered, but it is usually cheaper to replace
the reader.

Go to Device Manager and remove the drive from the list of devices CD/DVD.

Then start the registry (regedit) and delete the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters completely from the following registry key values:

Recently, I went for 2 weeks - when I left my computer was working and my dvd drive could read all my disks (mainly games)

My return however (and after the installation of 18 updates last night) the bed DVD player is no longer just about any type of media disc (having already be able to read all). However, whenever I needed it for work, he did, I noticed that before I left my DVD player had played a bit and seems to be trying to read discs (making the noise of rotation).

I ordered HP discs and received 3 disks by mail. I just got my new hard drive (the former was way past disappeared. I don't know how he held for so long) and replaced the HARD drive. I put in the old HDD to test the DVD/CD player and it works very well for CDs and DVDs. Not sure that it would have a flaw JUST in the ability to run the boot disks as there has never been anything to take for her (although, nothing is impossible).
