programmable calculator

I hope that the company or that someone can help me.  I've owned an HP 17BII calculator.  I used it for many years and had many precious equations programmed into the machine.  I even asked graduate students to buy the calculator in my classes at UCLA.   My wife lost my calculator.  It could cause a divorce.  I know that I can resume the equations of spreadsheet Excel which is clumsy and slow.  WHERE CAN I GET THIS CALCULATOR AGAIN?  Is H.P. still?  Now I am old and I would love my calculator back program variables qauanta.  Can someone give me help?  A program I wrote computes the following variables of real estate, for example: gross multiplier, down payment, mortgage interestrate, rate of return on investment fees.  I still have the equation.  It has been used by many brokers in the areas of L.A. and gave them a huge advantage.  Put in any 4 variables and it calculates the other variable, instantly.  This same equation has worked for the financial obligations and predicted the federal funds rate.  Another equation calculates all variables in general relativity on gravity.  His version was so fast, that it would save hours of work.  H.P. must have established a second model.  I can't believe they wouldn't just calculator of.  Thank you very much.  Dr. Norman Peters, former Professor of mathematics, U.C.L.A.

Of course just search the Web.

  • not useful Windows 7 calculator

    I need to do the following calculation

    (2 ^ 28) * (8,192/108) and then convert to hex

    But the hexadecimal conversion is in the programmer calculator and the ^ operation is scientific.

    And copy number of the programmer calculator scientific calculator does not work, because the programmer calculator does not take into account the decimal point

    If I copy the result of to the programmer calculator scientific calculator (20361326440.296296296296296296296)

    I have 2036132644029629629 (this is not useful)

    instead of 20361326440 (only whole and useful)

    IE put 15.8 in the scientific calc, copy in the calc programmer and you get 158. Why don't the programmer calc truncate or round?

    In any case, my main complaint is the separation of the different ECUs, some users may not use several calculators which is very annoying.

    Again, this is because Hex does not 'decimals' points so the whole number. You cannot set the scientific calculator to round to the nearest integer? If not then don't use it - use anything else! If you find my answer helpful, please click the button "Vote as helpful"! Thank you! My Blog

  • Bug in the Windows 7 calculator

    There is a basic bug in the calculator of windows 7 (only in the standard display)

    Equation 1 + 2 * 3 the answer 9.
    In fact, the answer should be 7.
    If we play a little, we discover that he is simply performing operations on from left to right, and failing to perform the multiplication and division before addition and subtraction.
    If I try the same equation in scientific display or programmer, you get the right answer (7)

    The hierarchy in the basic calculator is from left to right is

    1 + 2 = 3

    3 * 3 = 9

    The scientist and the programmer calculator use the hierarchy of mathematical operations
    and the Standard Calculator treats 1 both functions in the order entered.

  • HP 35s - normal probability function

    Hi all

    I am trying to determine if the 35s has an 'automatic' integrated in the prerequisite programs normal probability function.  For anyone who uses Stata, you can type "normal di (value)", and you get a returned probability based on the normal distribution.  Moreover, some people use z tables.  It's beyond my comprehension that a scientific calculator as the s 35 is not such a 'built-in' function, but I could be wrong.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

    See you soon!

    No, but it may be user programmed - the manual provides same aready to use the program, see p.16 - 11.

    Why?

    The beauty of a programmable calculator, is that rather than try to be everything to everyone (and inevitably be below the mark), it gives you the freedom to add features you want for your personal needs by programming. This may mean setting aside some pre-programmed functions, but leaving plenty of space for the user functions (32 KB is a lot in a non-graphical environment).

  • Premium HP: HP Premium: PROGRAM FOR DOING MATRIX OF BATTERY of the CALCULATOR (don't DO NOT WORK!)

    Hello!

    I attend the University for electrical engineering, and so I plan to buy a good calculator for my needs:

    -programmable with enough memory

    -graphical representation

    -"Advanced" math

    I have not discovered only recently on the amazing HP calculators (e.g. HP 50 g), which are capable of the RPN notation and thus make the calculations very fast and effective. I really hate the new calculators that announce the entry "quick and easy" using graphic symbols and cursor to select the location of the entrance! It of a lot of your time and makes me crazy, especially when it comes to long and "complex" calculations

    As I am not able to get the new HP 50 g, I looked at his "successor": first HP. But unfortunately there many defects in the RPN notation and also in some functions. But I'm willing to compromise, especially if I can write programs to replace some missing critical functions of HP 50 G.

    BUT, when I started looking into writing my own duties I quickly discovered that the lack of management functions of the inputs/outputs and even some strange/inexplicable behaviors.

    I wrote a program:

    EXPORT array()
    BEGIN
    LOCAL a, b, i, j;
    a: = years (1);
    IF length (a) == 1
    THEN
    b: = MAKELIST (years (X), X, a + 1, 2,-1);
    ON THE OTHER
    i: = a (1);
    j: = a (2);
    b: = MAKEMAT (years (i + j + 2 - J-(I-1) * j), i, j);
    END;

    (b) return;

    This program takes the last argument ("a") of stack for the size of the list/matrix.

    If the argument 'a' is a number (list 1 item), it creates a list of the last 'a' arguments from the stack. -> WORK

    Otherwise, it creates a matrix with columns and the specified lines. -> DOES NOT

    Now when I tested the code without I or J arguments MAKEMAT service, she worked OK. He worked too, if I used a very simple expression: for example I have J-1 or i + j - J + 2 (column only scanning).

    (The upper part (1 expression in the stack is the return value after execution of Array ()))

    OK LIST:

    MATRIX not OK:

    MATRICES OK, so current of enforcement only of years (i + j - J + 2):

    MATRIX OK, so current execution really simple Ans(I+J-1) function:

    Why these anomalies! I was really looking forward to buy HP Prime, but after all these issues and no real control on the stack of the calculator for the impressive programs

    HP 50 g has built in functions for these conversions, but more recent first HP does not work.

    All the best,

    Ziga

    And summarize the features of the program:

    Make a list of last wrote the number (one being 1: command):

    Make a matrix using a schema = {i, j} (a being list in 1: command):

    The array() function:

    EXPORT array()
    BEGIN
    LOCAL a, b, i, j;
    a: = years (1);
    (A) IF size == 1
    THEN
    b: = MAKELIST (years (X), X, a + 1, 2,-1);
    ON THE OTHER
    i: = a (1);
    j: = a (2);
    b: = MAKEMAT (years (i * j - J + 2-(I-1) * j), i, j);
    END;
    (b) return;
    END;

  • Spanish to English on 50g calculator graphic

    I got a 50g programmable graphing calculator aimed a person speaks Spanish and wonder until I open it if it would be possible to change the settings from Spanish to English?

    There is really not much in the way the language supported on the 50 g. It would lead to a bit of the error and a few other things, but in many cases you can not yet noted that he has been placed in another language.

    Anyway, he would come in English by default unless it has been used.

  • Windows 7 calculator crashed - No Way to restore

    Recently, I got my Windows 7 Calculator (calc.exe) go crazy mad. The bottom has become transparent and all numerical values repeat and are unreadable.

    For example, press '1', you get '1' in the right column, then press '2', '1' moves to the left and you can see '1' and '2' superimposed in the first position, then press '3' and '1' moves left, "1 | 2 "moves left and ' 1 '. 2. 3 "are superimposed in the first position. It is a total mess and occurs at all types of Calculator Standard, science, programmer, statistics.

    You can delete/ClearEntry / = or even sense the final calculation.  If you minimize the window after each press of button, it behaves as it should (except the background is transparent).  I do not use Aero, all video pilots themes, including the NVIDIA are the most common.

    I just want to know how to restore the calculator to the State of origin.  There is no option in Windows features to do, nor can you simply replace calc.exe from a known working system (permissions are blocked).

    Congratulations on setting and thanks for posting the solution to the underlying problem.

    'Appropriate' as described in my previous post will allow you to rename, move, or manipulate system files which, by default, are "owned" by "TrustedInstaller".  You must be very careful when you do this, however.

    I've never used Adobe Acrobat and know nothing about JavaScript.  I am creating a form of invoice.  I have it almost complete but can't do 2 things resolved.

    1. If a line on the invoice is not used, I need the amount column empty, not 0.00.

    2. I need to add 2 totals (parts and labor) and calculate the sales tax on the total of these 2 items.

    Everything I read is way over my head. I'm an accountant, not a programmer!

    Thank you

    # 1, you can configure a custom JavaScript validate it is simply:

    // Custom Validate JavaScript
    if (+event.value === 0) event.value = "";

    # 2, use the simplified notation next to the calculation field:

    Parts * work * 0.085

    Replace 0.085 with tax rate that you use

  • base newspaper Scientific Calculator

    Hi guys,.

    I searched online for documentation on the basic button y log in scientific calculator iOS but I could not find.

    What is it?

    What is the inverse logarithmic function?

    If so what base? Base 10, 2 or e?

    Thanks for the help.

    This isn't an inverse logarithm, it is one logarithm using any other basis as the existing buttons for base 10 or base 2 logarithms.  The "y" is any basis you want to use for the logarithm.

    Suppose you want the logarithm of base 4 of the number 12 (i.e. log4 12).  The keystrokes you would use would be:

    • 12
    • Logie
    • 4
