Is for the Viewer to DPS Android the same p12 certificate as that generated for the Apple Store - or should I create a certifcate different p12 for the Android?

You need another one for Android.

  • certificate P12 push problem

    Hello

We currently face a problem trying to download a new Viewer ipa/postcode: while we have already installed certificate p12 to push 'notifications' error-free Panel - so assuming they are valid-, when returned to the Builder App DPS download links are still asking for certificates p12 :-/ Is there any bug/workaround declared on that?

    Thank you for your help.

App Builder asks you for certificates sign the app, not the certificates for push notifications. They have separate certificates.

  • Failed to install a certificate (.p12 file). Thunderbird keeps asking me the password.

    Hello

I'm running Thunderbird 31.5.0 on Windows 8.1. Trying to install a certificate (Options-> advanced-> Certificates-> view certificates-> import), the Certificate Manager brings me a master password (as expected), who is never accepted. No matter what I'm typing, the password prompt will appear again and so will never install the certificate. This product for .p12 as .pfx files.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Problem solved. If someone stumbles across this post, I couldn't make it work because it was not sufficiently clear that Thunderbird has been asked for the password master and not the password to import the certificate.

If you have set a master password (recommended), you will need to enter (if you have not already in the same session) before you can import a certificate.

  • Rename the certificate p12

OK, another question for you. Can I rename my p12 certificates which are now on my Mac, or what I need to revoke certificates on the Apple Developer site and start over?

    Thank you very much.

    Pippa

You can rename the certificate files and the mobileprovision.

  • certificate P12 for Android?

How to generate a p12 certificate to use for an Android application developed in DPS?

I know with Apple, I generate them through the portal of commissioning, so, how do we Android apps?

  • HARD drive crashed, certificate .p12 lost but who still have the original SJC

I am able to somehow get my apps to sign as the old packages or what I get BlackBerry to clear the old ID and allow my other?  Bit worried because my application stores saved locations, and users have the possibility of saving on their device file manager, but if I get the old package that cleared the means they have two version of the application on the device.

  • updated Android app - problem with the new/old P12 certificate

    Hello

We have updated our android App, one was built in October 2013, and now, we have used the new web tool for building application - since I'm on a new Mac I can't access the old certificate of P12, I created a new certificate P12 and signed then new app "apk" with her... And now when I try to download this new APK on google game I got a message:

    Failed to download

You have downloaded an APK that is signed with a different certificate to your previous APKs. You must use the same certificate. Your existing APKs are signed with the certificates with fingerprint (s)...

It is true, but is there a way to get around this if I don't have the old P12 files?

It's something you'll have to ask questions about Google. Their mistake is pretty clear that they want you to use the previous certificate, and that is beyond our control.

  • Single edition and p12 certificate

    Two questions:

1 - edition has simple will help I need only the number of series (simple editing Adobe number) to publish to the app store? I've been finding conflicting information, saying: Yes, it is available on the Adobe website and then another source saying that I need professional or company making the Viewer 'public' rather than 'private '. It seems with the simple edition that I have that the "private" option available.

    2. I'm building the app for a University. In order to sign the app distribution, I downloaded the file distribution of developer ios of the University site mobileprovision. I can't create a p12 certificate using the certificate of distribution of the University on my computer.

I found this Web page describing how to transfer it, in my opinion, I need: export your signature and placed on active service from a Mac and import them to another.

    http://developer.Apple.com/library/iOS/#documentation/Xcode/conceptual/ios_development_wor kflow/10-Configuring_Development_and_Distribution_Assets/identities_and_devices.html#//app le_ref/doc/uid/TP40007959-CH4-SW8

After my University contact sent me their certificate p12, I get the following error message "unable to find expected label ' iPhone Distribution:' in this certificate."

Can you tell me how to solve these two issues?

    1. in publishing simple workflow, you do not have an option to post as a Public, publish as private, you must export the Folio and then import it into the generator of spectator while strengthening the use approx. serial number to activate your version by download.

Read the following link to learn more about the workflow:

    http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/digitalpubsuite/using/WS67cb9e293e2f1f6032817afa1337a03d59b-7F ff.html

    2. read the iPad edition guide to create required certificates (attached). It is best if you complete the whole process of certificate on a Mac using keychain Access to avoid complications. When creating certificates, sure to uncheck enable to iCloud. I recommend to have channelled the guide in detail and follow the step by step process as mentioned in the guide.

  • BlackBerry graphic Help - location of developer certificate

I use the graphic Help for Windows of BlackBerry to sign my AIR applications.

How to change the location of the certificate .p12 under the tab "Configuration"?

No matter what I'm looking for the path point to "author.p12". (the file is in a local settinsg RIM folder) is this a bug?

    Thank you.

    Vibes

P.S., Where the graphical help of BlackBerry stores input data? It is perhaps possible to hack the path in there?

The package of the graphical tool id help (you can view in the application xml file for the)

graphic help AIR app) is 'hand '.   Yes, you read that right, 'hand '.

(You can see the full application xml content to a path on your system that could

    look in C:\Program Files\BlackBerryGraphicalAid\META-INF\AIR\application.xml on

    your system).

Using this idea and Adobe documents for name resolution of local filesystem sandbox, you'll find

that for example in a Windows XP box using Graph installed, local settings are stored in a

    shared in the path object:

    C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Main\Local Store\#SharedObjects\Main.swf\BBGraphicalAid.sol

Given that I have not used this tool in ages, I had installed 1.0.0 version, and I was able to

Run the configuration wizard and change the location of the .p12 file in this version.  However, once

I install the latest version that I can easily find, version 2.6.6 and then run the Setup Wizard.

and try to change the location of the .p12 file, it gives me a warning about how I already have

This and I'm about to overwrite the certificate.

Note this discussion only when using the command-line tools, "If you name the new P12.

Author.P12 and place in the same directory as the barsigner.db, then you can sign up with 1 order.

(which means, you don't have a two-step procedure signature as you would if you name something .p12

Maybe different) graphic help requiring / waiting for you to use the standard 'author.p12 '.

the name and place it in the standard location.  (For example Windows XP that is):

    %HOMEPATH%\Local Settings\Application is in Motion\author.p12).

Try to copy your .p12 file to location name and see if that helps.

Finally, see my comments about why IMO according to graphic Help for a production build stream

is not a particularly good choice.

  • Certificate of RIM to submit the app?

Hello, my application is ready for release! I use Adobe Flash Builder Burrito like my IDE. When I choose to export the application blackberry I gives me the options to load/create a development certificate and create a certificate from the RIM.

These are necessary for me to submit my app in the app world for the free offer of the Playbook?

How to create a development certificate (.p12) on my Windows computer (on a Mac, there is a utility called Keychain)?

Is the certificate of RIM that is identical to the Code signing key "Java"? How can I get that?

EDIT: Also: when I submit my app which is the final step to get my app World app? I'll either get a message to approve or reject my application, if it is approved, then it will automatically be available in the app world by releasing the Playbook?

    Hey Noah,.

at this point you are not required to sign your application because there is no such thing as a process to do so. you are to submit your application unsigned. so just follow the steps u took less the signature part.

Here's a thread guide you through the steps if you need confirmation:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Tablet-OS-SDK-for-Adobe-Air/building-application-for-submissi...

the steps are on a mac, but it should be near the steps on a windows machine.

and Yes after submitting your app your in the pool (great basin) of people waiting to have their applications approved. as for having in the playbook at the start after that a user purchases the device, I not heard to be a possibility. hope that helps. Good luck!

  • PhoneGap Build certificate on iOS error

    Hello

IM phonegap-plugin-push application and it works perfectly on android.

On iOS Ive created an app id which matches my xml config, then created a ssl certificate and it exported to a p12, then created a configuration profile. When I download these certificates to build and use them to compile app with push notifications I get the error

"Error - certificate does not match the profile: the default keychain is not a corresponding identity."

    Help, please. Thank you

Did you create an SSL certificate for your server push and you builded the app with this p12?

If so, you shouldn't have. The app should still be built with normal/p12 certificate, not with a certificate/p12, which is planned for the server.

  • certificates on two different machines

I will be traveling with a machine that has my installed certificates.

I have new make or install the originals on the new machine?

If you have certificate .p12 files, you can use them only on the new machine when you sign in to your application. If you do not have certificates .p12, you need to rebuild on the new computer before you can download and sign your application. The certificates would be linked to the new computer.

  • IOS development certificates

I created my first application last year. Of course, at this time there, I created required certificates. I'm ready to create my second application. I need to create new certificates for this second app?

You don't need to create new development and distribution of certificates .p12. These same certificates to use for all your applications. But for the second application, you must create a new AppID and mobile available files based on this App ID. If you enable push notifications, you must also .p12 different certificates to push.

Use the same for all applications:

    development .p12 certificate

    distribution .p12 certificate

    Required for each application:

    file of available mobile development

    file of available mobile distribution

    CERT to push development .p12

    CERT push .p12 distribution

  • How to sign a PDF with certificate .ngp?

    Hello!

I received a document that I'm supposed to sign with an electronic signature. My Bank, I have software BankID and a certificate (the software is used by most banks here in Sweden).

But Adobe reader does not recognize the signature and wants that I give him the location of the file.

What I found was that Adobe research certificates .p12 or .pfx format. But my Bank certificate form is .ngp (which is supposed to be safer). Is there a way for adobe reader to read the file of NPM?

I've never had this problem at the signing of the official documents in browsers (for example when the tax return). Adobe reader software does not read this electronic signature? It was working fine before, when the bankID software still used p12 (which was less than 2 years ago).

    Kind regards

    Kenji

    Hi Kenji,

Acrobat / Reader only recognizes certificates .p12 or .pfx.

You can fill out the feature request form to include the identification of certificates .ngp at: https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform&loc=en

    Kind regards
