Rename the certificate p12

OK, another question for you. Can I rename my p12 certificates which are now on my Mac, or what I need to revoke certificates on the Apple Developer site and start over?

Thank you very much.

Pippa

You can rename the certificate files and the mobileprovision.

  • Failed to install a certificate (.p12 file). Thunderbird keeps asking me the password.

    Hello

I'm running Thunderbird 31.5.0 on Windows 8.1. Trying to install a certificate (Options-> advanced-> Certificates-> view certificates-> import), the Certificate Manager brings me a master password (as expected), who is never accepted. No matter what I'm typing, the password prompt will appear again and so will never install the certificate. This product for .p12 as .pfx files.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Problem solved. If someone stumbles across this post, I couldn't make it work because it was not sufficiently clear that Thunderbird has been asked for the password master and not the password to import the certificate.

If you have set a master password (recommended), you will need to enter (if you have not already in the same session) before you can import a certificate.

  • The "MyNewServerHostname" server did not accept the certificate.

    Hello

I have a server on a Mac mini with OS X 10.11 and a MacBook pro with OS X 10.11 customer who worked very well in the lab. But to put the server on another network necessary to change the name and the IP with the changeip command-line. Now the customer can not get the schooling profile.

On the client, I have install the trusted certificate, and then when I install the profile of education get the following failure message:

The "MyNewServerHostname" server did not accept the certificate.

I already tell a customer to make clean installation, deleted all the old certificate server, stopped the open directory and destroy the OD with the slapconfig command-line - destroyldapserver. And then create a new OD with new certificates, but always the same message failed. Any idea to fix it?

After you rename the server, you must create a new profile of certificate and trust. Did you do that?

  • Error - failed to import the certificate - you can fix this here

I get this message when you try to create a new generation.

Error - failed to import the certificate - you can fix this here

I created a new .p12 file, but also a configuration profile. I can't understand why this keep happening. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

This error means that the certificate and the private key in the p12 file don't match. Take a look at this post, which describes in more detail the creation and validation of your p12.

I have not watched the certificate remains to be seen if this is indeed the expiration date.  Will look at this next...

Unrelated and probably that your certificate has indeed expired.

  • unlock the certificate with the blank password (no)

    Hello

on the certificates (https://build.phonegap.com/people/edit#unlock-key ) page when I upload the .p12 file created with NO password export,
It seems that I can't unlock it, because the popup of release must have a certain value in the password field.

Also, I tried to unlock using the API:
    CURL u [email protected] : k d thepassword "data = {\"password\":\"\ ""} ' SET x https://Build.PhoneGap.com/API/v1/Keys/iOS/549200
but it does not work as can be learned also the docs:
    -api-v1-cles-plate-forme-id http://docs.PhoneGap.com/PhoneGap-build/developer-API/write/#-put-HTTPS-build-PhoneGap-com-

    -api-v1-cles-plate-forme-id http://docs.PhoneGap.com/PhoneGap-build/developer-API/write/#-put-HTTPS-build-PhoneGap-com-

Is it possible to build with this certificate without password?

    Thank you!

Are mix you the push notifications certificate and the certificate of construction?

The APNS certificate is not used for the signing of iOS apps, it's only for your credentials to push notification server.

    Always the same?

It is important to activate the hidden files and folders view.

Most of the SLCache material will be too, hidden by default and the program data folder.

    Open the C: drive.

    N ° 1)

Go to C: > Program Data > Adobe.

Open the Adobe folder and locate the folder named SLStore.

    Rename SLStore old SLStore.

    Step 2)

Navigate to C: > Program Files common files > Adobe.

Under Common Files > Adobe, find the folder named SLCache.

SLCache open folder and all its contents to the backup on the desktop folder.  You must create a backup manually and move the content of SLCache.

Note : make sure SLCache is empty.

Then launch installed apps CC and identify yourself.

Once you have signed and launched the application.

    Quit and restart and check.

  • certificate P12 push problem

    Hello

We currently face a problem trying to download a new Viewer ipa/postcode: while we have already installed certificate p12 to push 'notifications' error-free Panel - so assuming they are valid-, when returned to the Builder App DPS download links are still asking for certificates p12 :-/ Is there any bug/workaround declared on that?

    Thank you for your help.

App Builder asks you for certificates sign the app, not the certificates for push notifications. They have separate certificates.

  • certificate P12

Is for the Viewer to DPS Android the same p12 certificate as that generated for the Apple Store - or should I create a certifcate different p12 for the Android?

You need another one for Android.

  • Urgent: Not able to change the certificate in DPS app Builder

    Hello

We are about to publish an application with the individual edition license. We did a version and then the customer discovered that the certificate must be changed.

However, when we try to create the application, then fill in the information, there is no option to change the certificate - only configuration profiles.

We tried searching high and low and you have not found a solution. In addition, the button Delete is grey is not possible to erase and start over.

How can we change the certificate? The attached screen shows the screen after uploaded Prov. profiles, but there are certificate is checked while the CERT has not yet been added.

Mikkel, you can only choose mobile configuration files. Once you click on create app it will generate the application.

Once you click on the Finish button. It will give you two files developer.ipa and distribution.zip.

When you download developer.ipa it will give you a different dialog box that ask you to select the developer & partner and developer .p12 certificate mobile service password file.

Then click on the sign and download it. See attached screenshot:

Does anyone have an idea what could be the reason for this error?

    Help, please.

    Thank you and best regards,
    Anuj Dwivedi

    Hello

You may have the whole chain.

A note aside on the issue of departure indicated - if you do the same conversion for some reason things don't work well. The work is as follows,

    1. tell certifcate user export to a file, utilisateur.cer
    2. remove the baptistery of the user of the ewallet.p12
    3. import the user certificate in the file that you created in step 1.

    It should work smoothly. HTH.

    Kind regards
    Sinkar

  • I keep getting "the certificate for this server is invalid" for all SSL web sites.

Since the upgrade to Mac OS Sierra I get certificate errors on my Mac Pro to the end of 2013.  It will work fine right after a reboot, but then it will start refusing to open all web sites that use SSL.  In this case until I restart, then it kinda good.

I thought it was some kind of problem caused by the application of update after update to the Member, then I've completely erased from the hard drive and reinstalled Sierra fresh. And now the issue of the certificate is back.

Anyone else having issues like this?  Anyone know of a fix?

Do you have a third party anti virus or other applications that claim to protect, manage, clean, etc. from your computer? If so, uninstall them. Do you get the same message when you are using another browser?

  • A pop-up on IPad Safari on the renewal of the certificate

A renewal certificate ceases to appear on myiPad that the identity of the server can be verified by Safari.

I think that it was an advertisement of a forum page.

everything seems authentic, with all the correct details.

the certificate said he was about to expire, but could be renewed until next year.

However, it continues to request a username and password?

The Web site is for fiat professional.uk, who never visited, the Organization in the name of the topic is Akamai and

    the transmitter is Verizon

I know one of the solutions is to check the time, date, etc. in the settings but it is up to date.

    Any ideas please?

Which can happen if the iOS on your iPhone software is not up-to-date.

Tap Settings > general > software update

  • Cannot see the details of the certificate when you try to display more information about the certificate. Need a fix as soon as possible!

When you click on the padlock to the left of the URL > right arrow > and then click more information > to view details about the certificate Details page > view certificate, I see nothing and nothing shows me the certificate. I need this job to be able to view Details of the certificate and encryption information pages

Hmm, you are using the all-in - One Sidebar extension? It has a compatibility issue with the Page Info dialog box in Firefox 42. See: FF42 - view Page Info - media tab is missing.

  • Trust verification of the certificate by post?

Since his return to mac OS in 2009, I had a constant problem when mail opens and he tells me I have a unverified "trusted certificate". It is usually my domain host associated with my email of the domain. seems that no matter how many times I put the three settings to "always trust" that it is. It's super annoying and goes across my work is done. I sometimes have two or three or more per session (perhaps because of the relatively large number (10) of the e-mail on these areas accounts).

does anyone know how to disable this prompt or otherwise obtain certain technical information from apple on how to disable this option? I have the guest and I hope that Web site.

It seems that there are very few solutions for this and the ones I tried to never work.

    Thank you

Have you tried to remove the certificate? A new must then be downloaded.

  • I tried to open the "Add Security Exception" tab and get a certificate, but he says that he cannot get the certificate.

Firefox is denying me access to Facebook, as well as my Amazon account, as it is said that he cannot trust the certificate. I tried to do what the forum said, will "Add Security Exception" and paste address FB, but it just says: can not get the certificate. This happened only recently, since I've upgraded to Windows 10. Who would have something to do with it?

It's extremely frustrating, and after using Firefox for many years, I am ready to go to the Chrome or even... Microsoft's new browser.

Hi AdamQK, in case you are an avast user, please try to disable https scanning in avast:

    1. Open the Avast dashboard on an affected system.
    2. Select settings in the left side menu.
    3. Adopt a Protection Active.
    4. Click on customize next to the Web Shield.
    5. Uncheck the option "Enable HTTPS analysis", and then click ok.
