Certification exams 1z0-050/052/053/054/055 are still valid for 11 GR 2?

Given the 2 GR 11 is now realeased can you confirm the reviews above remain valid for 11 GR 1 material and 11 GR 2? I might consider a handful of questions (but only maybe a handful and perhaps less) who may have different answwers between 11 GR 1 material and GR 11, 2 especially perhaps in 1z0 - 053.

  • Exam 1Z0-058

    Hello all-

I am preparing for the 058 exam 1Z0. I see that there are two sections and 77 questions.
    My question is that

    (a) is it 77 questions in each section?
    (b) if it is for questions 77, (total), then do we know if how many questions of each section (percentage wise).

    Thanks in advance.

    user11142794 wrote:

Nope - 77 total. It is a very good thing, because if there are 154 questions to answer in 105 minutes, you would only 41 seconds per question to answer all.

    (b) if it is for questions 77, (total), then do we know if how many questions of each section (percentage wise).

OE does not provide this information. However, there are 47 grid Infrastructure: Clusterware and ASM topics and 32 topics CARS. With 77 and 79 issues, you can expect the two sections to separate close enough percentages of topic, this figure approximately 60% of the trial (46 questions) being about Clusterware and 40% (31 questions) being about RAC and you're not far off.

  • The similarity is the performance and tuning 1z1-064 (12 c) the exam 1z0-054 (11g)?

I had Oracle 11 g performance and Tuning of Oracle class.

I wonder how close the 1z1-064 will be the exam 1z0-054.

I'm also a student at the exam 1z1-064.

Is he still released books, or simply the material of the RTO.

    Thank you Roger

Oh - and regarding the materials on 1Z0 - 064, there is not yet any material of third parties specific to 1Z0 -054 out right now.  I am sure that there is no output for 064 yet.  I will create a guide for it shortly... I hope that I will be able to complete before the beta and take the exam at the end of the beta.  However, I concentrate on my exams to practice at the moment... so I don't even know if I'll make this deadline.  I certainly will not post before the end of the beta review and probably not until the review of the production is released.

  • Ianyone of other ridiculous notice how the questions are about the certification exams?

I just took and failed the test of 11g upgrade.  I tried to upgrade my certification from 10g to 11g.  I did not test certification since 2005 so maybe I'm a bit out of touch, but a lot of questions they were absurd.  I studied for about two or three months for this test, which is a test upgrade, always had to cover a very wide range of knowledge.  Now, I understand that they do not want to make it easy on us, but some questions were right out of left field.  There are maybe 10 or 15 questions that were up as "If you have this parameter is set to true, then, what is the advantage?  I can manage completely questions like that and that's what I studied for, but when they ask questions where you need not only to know all the parameters and then also what that all total possible outcomes could be and then they ask you those more obscure, he just drives me crazy.  It also seemed that some answers were incorrect on a few. I know I'm ventilation here because I didn't, and I'm going to hit the books again and it resume (another $245, Ouch!), but be warned, if you have not taken a test in a certain time, you can not only take more time to study, but also to study what the results might be.  I had already purchased the study books, but I also buy the oracle practice test.  The press review of oracle that I bought had some practical issues on a cd, but they were not the same as what was in the actual trial.  Now I have to wait 14 days before I can take it again.  Well, back to the study.

    John:

It has no State specifically, but based on his post, guess (with all the dangers it) it's a 10 g OCP.  If so, the topics on 1Z0 - 034 are much broader than those that will encounter it on 1Z0 - 050.  This review would require the OP basically start over on his preparatory review process and to focus on a broader set of information. In many ways - this isn't a bad thing from the point of view of becoming a more experienced DBA.  However, after failing an examination, I wouldn't feel comfortable not him pointing to a second review which would have the same gross effect than the first, but who is bigger, longer and probably more difficult to pass.  He doesn't also know its results until sometime in March at best.

Questions give - they are the only aspect of the series that I cannot agree with enthusiasm. Certainly, the questions and the answers may not be identical to what is real, but similar review is not prohibited. The Q & A in each book certification give I used don't have anything like the "feel" even for them than those of the real exam.  That's what reviews STS/transcend do much better.  Their questions and their responses are formatted looks a lot like the real thing and have a similar difficulty level.  You said before (I think on OraFAQ) that you write the questions on automatic test for your books.  I suspect that the person who does never took Oracle exams.

  • What is the time interval between two Oracle certification exams?

    Hello world

I'm looking forward to associate level certification in SQL and PL/SQL.

According to a link from the official website of Oracle, I need to spend the next two STAGES to win the Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate Certification. The two steps are:

URL of the location where the screenshots below (measures) is as follows:

    https://education.Oracle.com/pls/web_prod-PLQ-dad/db_pages.GetPage?page_id=653 & get_params = P_ID:162 #tabs - 1

    Capture1.JPG

    Capture2.JPG

There are to options available in two stages , so I chose to give the two following tests:

    1 (from step 1) EXAM: 1Z0-061 (database Oracle 12 c: basic SQL)

    REVIEW 2 (step 2): 1Z0-144 (Oracle Database 11 G: program PL/SQL)

    Now my questions are these:

Question 1: I intend to take the exam 1Z0-061 first (lets say in June), may therefore take the second exam (1Z0-144) at any time after appearing for the first review or is there no specific time frame in which I'm suppose to take the second review?

Question 2: will what type of certification I get if I take only one exam (1Z0-061 or 1Z0-144)? I know Oracle's official website said that in order to get "Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate Certification", I need to pass the two exams; but what happens if I chose to give only a single review at the present time? In the case giving a single review, what type of document of certification will I right to (wave speculation: right to half certification Oracle PL/SQL Developer )?

    Thanking you.

    Best regards

    Ankit

Answer 1: He is there no time limit/limit. Finally, I guess Oracle takes his retirement 1Z0-144, but which does not occur for many years.  They have not even removed from the earlier incarnation (1Z0-147).

Answer 2: Passing a review in itself does not have a certification or credential.  The only "book", you will have is the sheet of test results.

  • formulated differently: 10G OCP can upgrade to 11G OCP (1z0-050 or 1z0-034) and be always active, correct?

The sentence differently: 10G OCP can upgrade to 11G OCP (1z0-050 or 1z0-034) and be always active, correct?

They should NOT put just to 12 c, correct.

Someone at work took the Oracle class in Chicago: Oracle 11 g new Featurers for administrators.

They wanted to ensure that they would NOT have to take another training class Oracle.

    Thank you Roger

They should NOT put just to 12 c, correct.

Fix.  There is not currently a scheduled date for individuals with 11g as their highest certification of need to obtain a new certification.  If Oracle does not change their policy (unlikely), it will be a date in the future where it is practiced.  However, the upgrade to 11g will prolong the active life of their powers of Oracle by (I guess here) 2-3 years.

I don't know what you mean by "shall take".  Once you have OCP, Oracle requires no additional training for practical requirement - even if the certifications become inactive and must be reactivated. I guess you mean that he took the class because he wanted to prepare 1Z0 - 050. Based on this issue, he now wonders if he needed to go directly to 1Z0 - 060 rather (and therefore would like to take the new features in preparation for this test review 12 c).

  • Certified Oracle SQL Expert Exam - 1Z0-047

I plan on taking the exam 1Z0-047 and recently (in the last 3 weeks) bought the study guide / review of Kaplan for Oracle 11 g r2 for this test practice (or at least I thought it was up to and including Oracle 11 g r2).

If I understand correctly what I read, it seems that questions for version 12 of the database are now included in this review.  There is apparently no separate examination that does not include the Oracle 12.  Is this correct, or can I still request a review for 11g r2?

This is also true for PL/SQL and other exams (must study for any question 12 c)?

Given that most of the developers I know is not yet up on 12 c, it seems that there should be at least an option of which version of the database you want to testify against.

Everything / all thoughts are appreciated.

    Barry D.

I guess in what above, where you have "now", you want to say 'no '.

No there is only one exam 1Z0-047.  The number of topics under review that are specific to Oracle 12 c is minimal.  I've updated my page on the contest of Expert SQL include articles on these topics, so you can prepare for them, even if the Kaplan materials do not yet cover them.

Oracle Certification Preparation: Details of the examination and preparation for 1Z0 - 047 resources

This is also true for PL/SQL and other exams (must study for any question 12 c)?

The current reviews of PL/SQL (1Z0-144 and 1Z0-146) have not been updated to 12 c.  In my view, that the two have been validated against ut 12 c. which simply means that nothing they contain is wrong for 12 c - No 12 new c-specific features have been added.

  • Can I take the 1z0-042 (10g admin 1) after exam 1z0-007 Oracle 9i

Hello! I have a question about the Oracle 10g admin 1 (1z0-042) Certification.

    I passed 1z0-007 SQL Oracle 9i in December 28, 2012.
Now, I decided to complete tracks of OCP DBA in Oracle 10 g.
    My Questions are,

    1 should I should I improve?
    2 Does1z0-042 complete my GED?

    3. I will have the choice to complete OCP 1z0-043 taking?

    According to this link

Oracle exam 1Z0-007 is deleted: for me what mean?

It is clear that I can take exam 1z0-042 having previous passed1z0-007 (SQL 9i).

I just request this to my satisfaction before preparing for the next review.

    Thank you...

So, is he put the last hand I can take 1z0-042 without upgrading only 1z0-007 in order to complete OCA 10 g admin-1?

    It's 1z0-007 > 1z0-042 > 1z0-043 = OCP?

    The answer to your question is Yes.  1Z0-007 > 1z0-042 > (1z0-043 + training) = 10 g OCP

There is no such thing as upgrading your credentials SQL Fundamentals.  They are marked by a release of the database only for the convenience of the OU.  I discuss here:

  • exam 1Z0-478 on site page: likely typo: (relatively minor):

It claims to replace the exam 1z0-471... This is probably incorrect and refer to the 1z0-451... even as many other pages.

    Hi all

I finished Oracle APEX 3.2 - certification of Web applications to be developed in January of this year.
I saw Daddy Oracle launched Oracle APEX 4 certification as well last week, but the certification 1Z0-450 CODE remains the same. I want to make this certification, if this certification will have individual certification? or just an upgrade to the previous? Please answer

    Well done:

    Key references are here:

    http://education.Oracle.com/pls/web_prod-PLQ-dad/db_pages.GetPage?page_id=41&p_org_id=28&lang=us&p_exam_id=1Z0_450

    and

    http://education.Oracle.com/pls/web_prod-PLQ-dad/db_pages.GetPage?page_id=376

    ..........

There are significant differences between the examination and certification.

    ..........

Certification is Oracle Application Expresss Developer Certified Expert (it is a non-specific version).

The review was: 1Z0-450 Oracle Application Express 3.2: development of Web Applications

Exam : 1Z0-450 Oracle Application Express 4: development of Web Applications

    .........

The review has been updatd people should now really use Oracle Application Express 4, and it would be bad practice to force people to train on 3.2 when who should not be used for new development.
The update of this review to this version is so welcome in my humble OPINION.

    .........

Course topics/issues may have been modified, many will be remained unchanged.

And all those who have passed the 3.2 review would be to the standard required to pass an exam 1z0-450.

    .........

As you have already passed 1z0 - 450 (well done) you cannot resume it. And those who spend now he will get the certification even for her.

    ***********************************

This illustrates an important point for the exam takers:

You should always double-check the exam term reqularly upward at a review, say 2/3 weeks before and 2/3 days before to check for changes.  They occasionally happen.

    ***********************************

In the review, you get to review and when there is reason to consider that you notice that the title has changed you might note stop right there.
(You will notice that the title has changed since: + 1Z0-450 Oracle Application Express 3.2: development of Web Applications + to + 1Z0-450 Oracle Application Express 4: development of Web Applications +)
(If it has changed since booking now sure if Pearson view recommend... probably not IMHO).

It is possible if you have marginal fail and it changed to the very final days in the race upward at the examination, you pourriez could try to claim a recovery. But you're a review whether you are an expertsays, and that means you would be expected to double check these topics to review in the exm go upward. A precedent had been set for this when reviews of solaris 10 has received a upgrade in the topics in the Solaris 10 release 10/08 (zfs, zones etc.).

Main points of the mention above are:

    (1) on and after June 1: this review has been updated to include the module 4. If you are currently enrolled in this review, you must include all the subjects discussed below in your preparation. • Exam 1Z0-007: where to start?

    Dear all!

I am new to oracle. I know a bit about SQL (its basic syntax). Now, I want to go to the certification track. (OCA = > OCP). He first of all, I have to take the exam 1Z0-007 (if I'm not mistaken). I want to prepare for the consideration of the. Each of you will guide me which, from where I should start? I mean, what book, what study material, links etc. As I am new to your community and this is my first post. Please accept my apologies if I made a mistake.

    Thanks and greetings

    Fakhar ul Hassan

1Z0 - 007 must always be the first review you...

I would just like to say that the alternative SQL exam 1z0-051 is a review more modern and I am reasonably sure that the team that produced for it was intended to produce a review better with more relevant topics.

    Reference: [http://blogs.oracle.com/certification/2009/08/0096.html] parts 1, 2 and 3.

1Z0-051 study also sets out probably more focus on the new ansi join syntax.

So 1z0-051 is probably the best choice of review SQL for many people.

It said that some will have reasons to go with 1z0 - 007; We can already have material for tha for example.

Published by: bigdelboy on 25-Sep-2009 12:02 - original poster... feel happy to continuie with 1z0 - 007 and not be distracted by this argument. I just wanted to put a balancing comment at camp pro 1z0-007.

Examination of SQL is first as previous poster said is IMHO the most judicious choice of decision for DBA/developer OCA/OCP candidates.
