Certified Microsoft partner
We ordered windows 7 Home premium (online download and install) of "completesoftwarecenter.com", a certified partner of microsoft, to make a place to install (upgrade) on windows Vista Home Basic
my Bill says windows 7 Edition home premium and has a key code but when I click on download it grew up in one other window for download and was told because of their customer satisfaction, I've updated (and my key code is now for windows 7 Professional) I can not upgrade to that of windows Vista Home Basic only a custom installation If I had wanted to do a custom, Setup I would have just went with windows 8 (and saved money as well)
support live society can't (won't) help only telling me to send a mail and they will come back to me some 4-5 hours, it was 6 days after the first email, a day of the second and the third (the second time we have contacted their cat live they told us to send the e-mail again)
My questions are:
Being a microsoft certified partner does actually mean something?
Can microsoft help me with this problem?
Because the software was not installed or active can (or just the key code be exchanged)? through microsoft?
I don't know if I'm in the right place to get these answers, but I'd appreciate any help you can give
Thank you, Tim
And how do you know that they are a MS Certified partner? Have a logo on their site doesn't mean anything.
The site was recorded in 2012
The prices are too good to be true
MS does not offer a form of free upgrade Home Premium Pro
Go to amazon.com or similar certified online site and order your software
Basically, you have been scammed

Speedy Pc Pro, claimed Microsoft Partner
I have automatic Microsoft Updates and Security Essentials, most my Verizon email provider DOE is a free automatic security using the McAfee software scan. "" But a quick scan Pro of: software, system problems malware, performance issues, elements of the privacy and Junk Files showed I had 967 problems, but I didn't click on the "Fix All" button. Everyone has an opinion about these results?
Hi, there is no need a Registry Cleaner, etc.
And most of them may do more harm to your any good system claimed.

"Probably too late to help the OP, but for others: SpeedyPC Pro is a scam." It is also directly linked to their company of processing payments, "Safecart. Or what makes a mess to try to get a refund... based in the United States or repairs. It appears if you try unconsciously to e-mail an extremely large file or a search using terms such as "Slow PC", "lazy", "email does not load" etc etc. Lesson 1-NEVER buy software that appears magically when you encounter problems. Once it is downloaded, paid for (usually Paypal-to-Safecart), you are prompted to "activate" - requiring remote access to your PC. Lesson 2 - all unknown, no software support of brand person should NEVER be allowed to remotely... even large companies should be permitted only access controlled, usually stated in the user agreement (which is vital, reading for all software ' demanding' external/remote access. If the folders or files are missing, renamed, moved, etc. and you contact support, you will be asked again for remote access. It cannot. They will declare that only another support level is paid a pension (usually $ 300 or more, with the price down if waver you). Lesson 3 - garbage paid a pension. Then, when it's obvious that you're in trouble, you will want to remove - they help you with if you allow them ACCESS remotely!... Again, you MUST refuse. You can ask for instructions by email, that they will promise to send - and never go there. You can ask to speak to a supervisor and is put on hold - forever. You can remove the software - but it will leave little visible and several hidden files and folders you can not see, even if you check the box "Show hidden folders and files". You can do a restore of the system - same problem, all is not lost. In a recent situation, after several requests for the removal by e-mail instructions and insurance that they cannot yet a system once the software is "deleted", noted an activity external access. The computer was immediately put off. Lesson 4 - you can't fix it yourself. Bottom line - removal of this * requires a travel expert tech shop, where the hard disk will be deleted, * hopefully * critical files saved, the drive to clean up and the system rebooted from scratch. Not a cheap solution and the purchase price of $30 begin to cover the costs. Also, there is no way to go after them so many layers are involved. Original title: Gooseberry? SF TV #.
I received a phone call from a company called gooseberry to mackerel. They said that they are a Microsoft partner and they have received a message saying that I have a problem. Are they legitimate? They have a phone number for San Francisco.
Hello
It's a scam.
We have all the errors and warnings in our Event Viewer
But NO error message is sent from your computer to anyone.
Either these so-called "Microsoft" Tech companies want to sell you a worthless software, or remote access to your computer to try to steal your credit card and bank information and also achieve an identity theft on you.
You are the only person who knows if you gave them remote access.
If you gave them remote access and you do Internet banking, contact your bank, to explain, and change passwords.
If you use your online credit card, cancel and get a new one issued to you.
And the only way that willl you know that you are free to them is to backup your data and do a clean install of your operating system.

And Microsoft does not contact you unless YOU have made prior arrangements with them to do.

I received a call from Aishaz Tech informing me, I got the "csrss.exe"virus and that they could solve the problem for me for £100, which is the cost of the "Microsoft Tools" necessary to solve the problem. They said that I not able to repair myself, nor anyone else would have had none of these tools and they are a Microsoft partner. I run MS Windows 7 Home Preimium. I didn't even notice that I had a problem. There is only one version of crss.exe in the running task manager (although I can't open the file location) and I have had no other problems such as unexpected POPs Windows that other people with this virus are complaining about.
How can I know that this is not just a scam to get 100 pounds of me?
How can I know that I even the virus?
How do they know I have the virus and where they got my phone number from?
Is it also true that not even reformat the HARD drive and reinstall all the software from scratch can solve the problem? They asked me to use "Teamviewer" free software to enable them to take on my screen, showing me the 'evidence' that I got the virus csrss.exe by:
(1) running msconfig and showing me that much Microsoft services in the Service tab have the status 'arrested '. They said all Microsoft services in the Service tab are essential and must always be running - is this true?
(2) they ran regedit and viewd under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SAFETY record, for which the data column says (value not set) and told me that it meant my anti-virus did not work (I use AVG Free, who says he runs and certainly seems to be analyzes all incoming e-mails). Nobody knows what the data column should be in it?
(3) they then looked at what is called prefetch, showed me loads of entries with numbers and no names of recognizable program or file which said, contained the virus.
4 BACK), they ran a tree, sending loads of country names and other information too fast to read the screen, followed a sentence saying your antivirus software is out of date or does not work and an urgent need to be updated. But I keep my AVG anti-virus updated software automatically.
I don't know what to do and I am really worried about what they could do with my computer while they were back online. Someone at - it good suggestions please?I don't know if Microsoft would take interest because they have themselves identified (many claim come / working on behalf of Microsoft/Windows).

"Driver Detective" Microsoft partner? If so, is it a safe and reliable site?
The visit to this site - www.drivershq.com/contact.aspx - we could be led to believe that he is a 'partner' of Microsoft. Is someone able to check this site as being officially affiliated with Microsoft?
Hello
Yes, they are a partner - see qualifications below.
Microsoft Certified Partner
http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Certified_PartnerHowever, my experience is this update of autopilot programs finally all the fail and sometimes
with spectacular results. Better for the update of the BIOS, chipset and other great drivers manually. This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:
This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:
-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.htmlFor drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have. Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
each installation.Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
necessary.Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
manually by model.Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
