  1. Set your BIOS so that it uses the DVD drive as its primary boot device.
  2. Start the computer with your Windows 7 repair CD.
  3. Press a key when prompted to boot from the DVD.
  4. Select 'PC Repair' in the menu.

  6. When you are prompted, select System Restore.

I also changed in "my computer (right click) > change settings" and changed the name of the computer, the description of full computer name and computer. After this step, right click in 'My Computer' watch my desired username, but using the "information for Windows > operating system" it shows again my old username IE Dell.   As you said, you tried regedit. Have you tried changing RegisteredOwner and RegisteredOrganization keys in the following key:

  It might be a good idea to be more specific on what changed you:

  The profile uses "username" to your user handle display or community name. It seems that it is the one you want to change.

  The login page also uses "username", which is your login name or your email address. This information cannot be seen by others. If you have changed that too, you can specify that, who, according to previous experience, can be the reason of all sorts of problems.

  I think the term "username" is misleading and the account profile page should rather use "community name" or "Nickname" instead of "username" to avoid confusion.

  The real "Login" name cannot be changed, but there is a preference that allows the application to always use the name of 'connection' to the name of the author may not be used.  It is under Edit > Preferences > commenting and in the section "to comment.  Uncheck "always use Log-in name for author name.

  Your comment is remembered until you tell Acrobat to store another, by editing a comment and update the default. It has nothing to do with the 'identity' in preferences, which is used for digital signatures.
