  Hello

  You can change the username without no problem safely (if there is no restriction by changing the user name, Oracle would not make this feature available). All references to the application are made through the USER_ID and not the username.

  It might be a good idea to be more specific on what changed you:

  The profile uses "username" to your user handle display or community name. It seems that it is the one you want to change.

  The login page also uses "username", which is your login name or your email address. This information cannot be seen by others. If you have changed that too, you can specify that, who, according to previous experience, can be the reason of all sorts of problems.

  I think the term "username" is misleading and the account profile page should rather use "community name" or "Nickname" instead of "username" to avoid confusion.

  The real "Login" name cannot be changed, but there is a preference that allows the application to always use the name of 'connection' to the name of the author may not be used.  It is under Edit > Preferences > commenting and in the section "to comment.  Uncheck "always use Log-in name for author name.
