Change config network on Photosmart C4385
I have a Photosmart C4385. I recently changed my router and dhcp addressing. The printer still has the old (its URL and the gateway) IP addresses, and now the interface of the solution Center tells me "this product is not configured for networking." No network settings are available. »
Short to reconfigure my router, is it possible to set the printer to the factory settings? Or to force the printer to re - acquire its DHCP?
Printer is connected to Vista Ultimate Svc Pk 1 USB, but I have other computers (including MAC) who needs a wireless connection, but cannot 'see' the printer broadcast Configuration.
I use a Belkin wireless router that is configured for DHCP from my VPN Firewall-Router Netgear.
The old system used 192.168.2.XXX
New addresses are 192.168.130.xxx, gateway is 192.168.130.1
Yes, with WEP SSID
I think that covers everything he... Sorry for the re-post - I read the post of good Questions repeatedly.
Best thing to do is to set a static IP address on one of your computers to 192.168.2.76 (same subnet as the old IP address of the printer) temporarily and to reconfigure the IP address of the printer on the new subnet that you use.
You can do it from the printer's internal web page.
When your done, reset IP address of the computer to the new subnet address.

Hello
I'm about to get rid of a Photosmart C4385 Printer. I heard that some printers have internal hard drives that can store information that has been printed, and if the printer is in the wrong hands, it could be in serious trouble. I was wondering if this model to memory/drive hard internal that stores information even after being turned off. And if I have the same need to be concerned about the risk.
Thank you
-Jordan
According to the specification: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01122227, this printer has no internal hard drive. Any printer will have an internal working memory, if it has no internal memory too. We will remember the settings - for example, language, paper size, etc.. It does not print pages.

Do you know in what situation am I able to change a network password? Thank you!
I don't know why it should not work on your machine, but you can reset your password like this:
1. click on start.
2. type the three letters cmd in the search box.
3. press on Ctrl + Shift + Enter
4. click on "run as Administrator".
5. type the following command:
NET user "user %%nom" xxyyzz {Enter}
(Replace the password you want to use xxyyzz) -

How can I change the "network protection" off to on?
How can I change the "network protection" off to on?
If you ask about network access Protection, see this:

Impossible to change the network location of the public in the network and sharing Center.
I'm unable to change the network location of the public to the private sector or at home. In network and sharing Center, he is listed as unidentified network, and under "Public network" is written in black and is not clickable.
I have a connection high speed (USB connected) also listed above under "Home network", it is written in blue and is clickable.
The affected connection is an XBOX 360 connected via a network cable. I wish to connect the XBOX to the Internet via ICS, but cannot do so until this connection is either private or at home.
Things I've tried so far;
Reinstall the drivers,
disconnect and reconnect, turning on all the elements concerned.
All ideas,
Tourist shifty.
Enable ICS on the connection Strip and not on the XBOX 360 connection. When you do this, the connection of the XBOX 360 will still be confused with a public network, but everything should work. Boulder computer Maven

PhotoSmart C4385 says color cartridge error message is not compatible, but it worked before
My PhotoSmart C4385 gives me incorrect error messages. The most recent one is the "color cartridge is incompatible", but it worked before.
Hello NancyofMarylandand welcome to the Forums of HP, I hope you enjoy your experience!
I see that you have problems with ink. I would like to help.
I suggest to remove the cartridges and perform a power reset. Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.
"I also recommend the continuation of the procedure described in this paper on a ' cartridge Incompatible ' or 'print cartridge is missing, improperly installed, or not intended for your device' Message appears on the computer.
Good luck and please let me know the results of your troubleshooting operations. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

How to change the network connection?
Greetings,
I try by programming (perl) change which network a virtual machine is attached to.
The problem that I think that I have is how to map support-> network-> value back to support-> deviceName.
For example, I empty the deviceInfo and is part of the production:
'backup' = > ({bless him
"deviceName" = > "qaenv1.dummy"
'network' = > ({bless him
'type' = > 'network ',.
'value' = > ' network-28803 "»
(}, 'ManagedObjectReference'),
'useAutoDetect' = > 0
(}, 'VirtualEthernetCardNetworkBackingInfo'),
So if I want to change the network for, say, qaenv2.dummy, how to find the value of medium-> network-> value for qaenv2.dummy?
Thanks in advance.
Chip
