• RSS feed of component in the portal generator

  Hello world

  I created a page in the portal builder where I want to display RSS feeds from a public url data. I moved the flow RSS of the dialog component and provided the url of RSS feeds.

  But at runtime, it displays all the data - instead, I get the foll. error:

  Could not get the RSS feed due to the expiry of the connection after 3 seconds. Provide a higher timeout interval.

  Lack to supply other parameters?

  To activate the sons of new RSS external WebCenter portal or Portal Framework application, you must configure a proxy server.

  A proxy server is also required if you want to view external links in the activity flow task flows. RSS and the activity stream share the same proxy server settings.

  You can configure a proxy server using Fusion Middleware control or WLST. For more information, see Section 8.2.4, "set up a Proxy Server."

• Can I change default display width in the integrated PDF Viewer?

  Hi cfcentaurea, you can define a view by default as follows: enter Subject: config in the bar firefox address (confirm the message information where it appears) & search for the preference named pdfjs.defaultZoomValue. Double-click it and change its value to the width of the page (this should affect all new documents you open).

• How do I change default search engine in the address bar?

  I know that in previous incarnations of Foxfire I could use about: config and change Keyworld.url to change my search engine default. I recently reset my Foxfire because I had problems with the original site and now it is set by default to Google. I don't want to use google. How can I change this? I don't want a search bar, I don't want to make a difference in a search bar. I want to just the address bar to work the way I have always worked it for me before. Can someone help me?

  You can change the search provider from the search bar that is automatically in Firefox by clicking on the arrow pointing down and put in service of your choice.

  If you don't want the search bar, you can "hide" it view by clicking on the button 3-bar menu, go to 'Customize' at the bottom, and then dragging the search bar in the box features and additional tools .

• I'm unable to change default file associations. The association always returns to what it was.

  I am running Windows 7 64 bit.  I can't change the file associations default for .exe and .ini files (I have not tried the other file extensions).  I tried to make the change by choosing "open with", select the desired program and checking the 'always use the selected program to open this type of file.  I also tried with the option "Default Programs/Set Associations" in the control panel.  No matter what I do, the association returns to what it was before (the Notepad in the case of .txt and .ini files)

  Thanks for your suggestion.  I tried Microsoft FixIt, but that did not help.  Then I remembered that I had installed and uninstalled a trial version of UltraEdit v. 18 on my computer.  This program partners with a variety of file types.  I reinstalled the trial version, making sure that it has been configured to not to associate any type of file and then uninstalled again.  Now everything works fine.

  I think Lightroom lance is set regardless of the default player for a specific file type. The system does it, Lightroom.

  You must change the file in your operating system association, I think.

  You must install the latest patch bundle for WebCenter portal.

  I believe that this error is a bug caused by certain features that are available in the portal Builder, but not in a framework application.

  Basically, WebCenter is throwing items of metadata to specific models of devices. In the portal Builder, you can create different templates depending on the device, but this feature is not available in the framework where the error.

  Just install the latest patch bundle and your problem should be solved.

  Also... Note that Oracle recommendation is to use the portal generator and not to develop any new application with the framework.

  default: report models are hardwired into APEX and cannot be changed the way the theme templates can.

  Using the web Inspector in a browser with the tools of development such as Safari or Firefox + Firebug you can look at the source of the report with a default: model to determine the HTML structure and classes used and applied by the APEX CSS selectors, then override these in your own style sheet, or create a custom theme version of the model from scratch.

• Update models for through the change of site

  I just set up my first site and am sure that I did not address the model thing properly. I made a model and then used for each subsequent page I made, saving the new page as the new page.html. I think there is a way, or I thought I understood that there is a way to update each page whenever I change something in the model. I don't see this effect.
  
  I added an image map to jpg on the template page, I see very well when checking in the browser. Now, I don't know how to add this change to all my other pages (in line, or even off if need).

  Currently the spacing of default image is 12 when you insert a picture into pages and go to the tab reorder. Is there anyway this change constantly at 0, so each time you insert an image should not change it?
