Change of integrated listening port for HTTP WebLogic
HelloI would change the '' integrated '' webLogic DefaultServer http listening port.
I can change in the config.xml file located in the
[OracleMiddleware_home]\jdeveloper\system\system11.1.1.0.31.51.88\DefaultDomain\config\
<listen-port>new_port_number</listen-port>
However, when the application starts (running some .jspx pages), this port number reverts to the old value!Is there another way to do this?
Have you tried tools-> preferences-> run; Click on 'change the server instance' click on 'Start' and put the port out there?

Change the default ports for http and https
Hello
I'm trying to change the default ports for http and https
I have a 506th PIX (which does NOT of NAT)
I have the following: -.
static (inside, outside) tcp 192.168.10.2 601 192.168.10.2 http netmask 255.255.255.255 0 0
static (inside, outside) tcp 192.168.10.2 602 192.168.10.2 443 netmask 255.255.255.255 0 0
access-list acl permit tcp any 192.168.10.2 eq 601
access-list acl permit tcp any 192.168.10.2 eq 602
Access-group acl in interface outside
where 601 and 602 are the http port and https to be redirect to respectively.
I changed the webserver accordingly
I get the error message
"No group of translation not found for tcp src outside:189.x.x.x/50232 dst inside:192.x.x.x/80" (trying to access port 80)
"I also have ' fixup protocol http 601.
I had access to the internal and external web server before attempting to change the default ports
Any ideas where I'm wrong?
See you soon.
I apologise for not thinking correctly.
the static method must be:
static (inside, outside) tcp 192.168.10.2 80 192.168.10.2 601 netmask 255.255.255.255 0 0

How to manually change the ports for HTTP on the server vCenter Server
Hello Experts,
We have Windows Server 2008 SP2 machine where we v5.1 installed with other SSO components, inventory services, vCenter Server and Update Manager.
So we went from SSO, the inventory services and vCenter Server fine however, vCenter Server has stopped working. While we were to modernize SSO, the service could not start after the upgrade and the recd suite error "Service VMware KDC service could start.". So, we found the article on the VMware site that said port 88 to cause the problem. To find out more by using the netstat command, we found vpxd.exe used port 88. That is why, we stopped this service and proceeded to the upgrade of the SSO. The upgrade is complete following the inventory service and vCenter Server. While we were upgrading vCenter Server, we found that port 88 was used for HTTP communication.
So we wasted on the use of the port. The upgrade has been completed successfully, however, we can not connect to vCenter server using vSphere Client version 5.1 or 5.5. We even tried to start the VMware VirtualCenter server using the services.msc console and it failed.
So we assume the port changes happened during upgrade of the SSO meets the HTTP port by vCenter server usage. We need help on how to manually change the ports for HTTP on the vCenter server.
Suggestions forward. This problem is with the production servers.
Thank you
Karan
This has been resolved... port has been changed manually and works very well.

What command to change the number of ports for vSwitch0?
I develop kickstart to deploy ESX4 U1 to upgrade our 100 ESX 3.5 servers. After trying for a day, I had almost all of this work. The problem is vSwitch0 is created with only 32 ports. Can I use vi client to change the port number after, but it is nice to have everything using kickstart.
Y at - it a command to change the number of ports for vSwitch0? I know that you can create a new vswitch port num vSwitch, but not for vSwitch0 created during installation.
For those using pxe and start problem with no. cos NIC added by the user, it is not a real error message, press Alt + F1 to display the actual error message, it should tell you what the problem is.
Thank you
I have it in my postconfig:
Perl-pi-e w /------/ NET/vswitch\/child\ [0000\] \/numPorts = \"\d+\"/\/net\/vswitch\/child\[0000\]\/numPorts = \"256\"/g;' /etc/vmware/esx.conf

Change the listening port for SSH on IDS
Should what command I use to change the listening port on an IDS 4200 series? I listen on another port, and when I applied the S189/S190 update, it changed SSH port 22.
Just out of curiosity, too, no one knows what else S189/S190 updates change?
Thank you
Jim
Cisco supports only configurations using the CLI interface. The ssh port cannot be changed through the CLI. Modifying the files in config system via the service account is not a good idea and not supported.

How to change the default listening port?
Hi all
11.2.0.4
RHEL 6.5
I managed to install Oracle Db 11.2.0.4 on RHEL 6.5
He created a default listener uses port 1521.
With the following entries in listener.ora.
listener.ora # Network Configuration file: /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0.4/db_1/network/admin/listener.ora
# Generated by Oracle configuration tools.
LISTENER =

(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = ip-10-0-0 - 216.ec2.internal)(PORT = 1521))
)
)
ADR_BASE_LISTENER = / u01/app/oracle
How can I change the port in 1522? Can I just he replace value of listener.ora?
Should I also change the value of KEY = EXTPROC1521 to KEY = EXTPROC1522?
I tried to change the port in 1522 in the listener.ora but when I start "lsnrctl status".

Hello
As said earlier after which the listening port, you must update the parameter local_listener database as below:
ALTER system set local_listener ='(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP) (HOST = ip-10-0-0 - 216.ec2.internal)(PORT=1522))'
editing the system registry;

Your listener.ora sets a listener named OPENVIEWLISTENER. You have not specified the name of the listener when starting it and so he went with the default values (name of the LISTENER listener and so on). The command you are looking for is lsnrctl start OPENVIEWLISTENER

Highway X8.2.2, Changing default SIP Port for B2B calls is not possible
Much of community support.
I 10.5.1 (SU1) of CUCM and X8.2.2 Expressway.
I have configured without VPN Jabber and B2B based on the Document calls "CVD-CollabEdgeUsingBE6000 - Apr14.pdf.
everything worked fine for months, but after the upgrade of the X8.2.2 Express way B2B calls are no more work.
After troubleshooting, I found the following:
the DSF Guide tells me to change the default Port to 5061 to 5560 B2B calls because 5061 is also used for the integration of Jabber.
When I look at my record of wirekshark I see cucm tries to connect to the port 5560 expressway, but after sending a SYN packet, cucm receives a RST packet.
When I change back to the port of 5560 to 5061, everything works well again for B2B, but of course encrypted calls Jabber connection is not possible more.
for me, it looks like a bug, but I found nothing on the 'Bug search' tool.
I also tried to disable all Protection rules and I also have a firewall rule for Port 5560. I also tried to change the TCP Port to something different, 3999 for example. All this without success.
Just a little look in the guide.
Two caveats. First thing the guide explains unencrypted SIP - TCP connections, if you want to be aware that both sides use TCP or TLS. If you are using TLS certificates must be good as well.
5560 isn't a port on the highway, this is the port for the trunk on CUCM.
What do you see CUCM sending to Highway: 5560 Setup is not ok.
The port of the highway will not be changed.
If you look at page 30, he 5560 port is used for the "incoming Port *" and the bottom of page 31
You can see that it uses the Expressway IP with port 5060.
On the highway, you configure the area to port 5560 (page 34)
And of course the firewall should also be ok.
Please note messages posted under the stars below and set the thread if it's an answer!

I have a 10.3.4 weblogic domain. His number of prot is 7001. How to change to 7091?
Hey YOU,.
Try the following options.
Option-1). You can simply use AdminConsole to do the same thing.
Path of the console:
Login to AdminConsole---> environments---> servers---> AdminServer---> Configuration (tab) now you can change the listening Port.Option-2). Using JMX also, you can do the same thing:
Topic: Change the Port AdminServer using JMX
http://middlewaremagic.com/WebLogic/?p=613Option-3). You can also choose the option WLST to change the Port. as:
connect('weblogic','weblogic','t3://localhost:7001') edit() startEdit() cd ('Servers/AdminServer') cmo.setListenPort(7091) save()

WSD port for printers and TCP/IP ports monitor, what is the difference?
There are a lot of discussions on IP etc. addresses for printer problems. There is no mention of a new feature for the port for printers, WSD port for plug-and-play printers, I assume that the IP addresses have no importance with WSD, my printer is vaguely configured for the WSD port and TCP/IP port, can someone please expain
Here is a description I found
The WSD Port Monitor is a new printer port monitor in Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008. This port monitor supports printing on network devices that are designed to include Web Services for devices (WSD) technology. Services Web for devices allows devices connected to the IP-based network announce their functionality and to provide these services to customers using the Web Services Protocol. Clients and devices WSD communicate on the network using a series of SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) messages on UDP and HTTP (S). WSD for devices offers a plug-and-play network experience that is similar to the installation of a USB device. Services Web for devices also defines a security profile that can be extended to provide additional protection and authentication by using certificates based on the device.
WSD is not a port, but a port monitor. A port monitor looks at information from the TCP/IP port and makes routing or changes based on what happens in the port.
This link has some in the description of the depth of the WSD port monitor:
http://blogs.technet.com/b/askperf/archive/2008/02/11/WS2008-the-WSD-port-monitor.aspx
Back to the comparison of the IP address as a P.O. box. Once the letter arrives in the POST box, someone needs to come empty the box or letters are going no where.
When the data comes in the TCP/IP port a port monitor is where I look for that to happen. The WSD port monitor would take over this function from the standard TCP/IP port monitor.

Requirements of ports for vCenter Server 5.1 - SysLog Collector
Hi all
Has anyone installed a SysLog collector?
My book of vmware by Lowe mentions little on the ports for it.
During the installation of the server, he gave me a list of ports.
I accepted all the flaws, except that I changed the ports http to 81 and 8081 because IIS is installed (vmware docs say to use one port other than 80, if IIS is already installed)
Now, during the installation of the SysLog collector it asks which http port I use.
The vmware docs nothing mentioned on the syslog http port is my book. The vmware for TCP docs show that.
ESXi Syslog Collector 8001 TCP ESXi vCenter Server Network syslog server
Just use port 81 as the http port I have set up for vcenter server? The web interface won't connect through this port? There will be a conflict?
I used netstat and port 82 is not used. Should I use?
The other settings works ok?
There is no firewall involved; vCenter server and the VMs system will reside on the same site
Thanks in advance
port 81, that is according to the third screenshot! 8081 is for Tomcat!
