Change password for local administrator on Cisco ISE in distributed deployment
Hi guys,.
I managed four ISEs of Cisco in a distributed environment.
First ISE is the Admin, second ISE is followed, the third and fourth are the PSN.
We use local authentication. We want to change the password for the admin user name.
-What does that by a lucky break the connection between the ISEs or will be the new password pushed to each of them?
There is no possibility to change the passwords on the PSN as the administration tab is not available.
I know that when I create a new user, he's pushed all ISEs.
Thank you.
Serge.
Serge,
Good question. Once I read this question, I had to know, so I tried this in my lab.
I changed the admin password and change successfully, I had to connect to ISE using the new password. Then I noticed on my dashboard to my node communication school admin and my PSN was green. YAY. I went to the page of deployments and could access the configurations for the nodes.
Trust, I logged the secondary node using the NEW PASSWORD. So, Yes, not only communication does NOT break, the new password is pushed down to all nodes.

Keychain Access: change password for Local Items
Hey everybody,
Until a few days ago, I had my OS X connected to my Apple ID login Then I unplugged the two and changed the two passwords.
Now every time that I start to OS X, many things (talagent...) ask my local products Keychain password, which is always set to the password I had before the change. The change password menu item is grayed out, so I have no idea how to change. Needless to say, it's quite annoying having to type the password about 5 - 6 times every time you start Mac OS x.
Does anybody know a solution for this?
Thanks in advance.
Hi MissKillALot,
Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. I'm sorry to hear you're having problems with your Mac. Hello
Unfortunately, it's in the code of conduct for these forums to help users to circumvent passwords and security settings. You will need to remember the password or reinstall.

I don't remember what my password for the administrative account.i did not a password reset disk. AlSi o do not have a disk to recover. How can I reset my password or put on the administrative account?
If you have forgotten your password, if you have another user who has administrative privileges account you can log in to that account and change the password of your account of origin of the user accounts applet in Control Panel. If you do not have another account like this set upwards or that you do not have the password which you will need to log on to the built-in Administrator account. In XP Home, start the computer in Mode safe. This, by repeatedly pressing the F8 key as the computer starts. This will put you in the right menu. Navigate using your arrow up; the mouse does not work here. Once in safe mode, you will see the normally hidden administrator account. The default password is white.
In XP Pro, you don't need to go to Safe Mode. In the home screen, do Ctrl-Alt-Del twice to get the classic Windows logon box. Type in "Administrator" and the password that you assigned when you set up Windows.
If you reset the password of the account administrator integrated into house or have Pro and don't remember the password, use NTpasswd to change the password of the built-in to a white administrator account. Download the bootable CD .iso image file, burn with third-party burning software such as free ImgBurn , Nero or Roxio. Burn as an image, not in the form of data. Start with the media that you have created. You need to maybe change the boot order in the BIOS or obtain a menu of boot command temporary with the pressure of a special key. NTpasswd will run. Follow the instructions carefully.

Then, go to the user accounts applet in Control Panel and set passwords that you remember and other changes. WRITE THE PASSWORDS DOWN AND PUT THEM SOMEWHERE YOU WON'T LOSE THEM.

No, there is no impact of the change to the password of user oracle/root on the equivalence of the user and RAC.

Need a guide step by step installation of Cisco ISE in distributed environment.
Hi friends,
If anyone has the step by step guide installation for Cisco ISE in distributed environment please shere!
I have the Cisco user guide, but does someone have created at the time of the actual installation.
Thank you
Sachin
There's a trustsec 2.1 how to guide on the cisco Web site. There's also a 2.0 TrustSec ISE Guide flow that includes instructions step by step for the establishment of ISE 1.0.4. Which is still pretty accurate for the 1.1.1 guide. But if you go through the site should give you all the information you need.

Users cannot change password for 802.1 x and implementation of ISE
Hi all
We have implemented cisco ISE 1.1 for a week and we notice that Microsoft active directory the user cannot change password there when it expired.
We store all user account in Microsoft active directory for authentication and ISE is mapped with Microsoft active directory. Normally, when your expired password Microsoft active directory ask you to change your password, but in our case cisco switch or 802. 1 x do not allow communication with active directory before giving access to the network. Is this a configuration error or cisco do not support this?
Best regards.

Impossible to install a password for the administrator
I tried to install a password for administrator on my PC. I am the administrator and have another account for a "guest." Whenever I try to install a password, he comes back and says that he can do. There has never been a password installed. I talked to Dell who said best Buy never changed ownership when I bought the computer (which it was a display model) and when I called Best Buy, they said that never "own" anything. I called my computer guy and he said there is a problem with Windows and I should put it in. They want all the money to fix it and I think that since it is a mistake to "Windows", then I don't have to pay so he can get fixed.
I just went on live Windows and tried to update and she returned with
"SYSTEM ERROR DETAILS".

I forgot the password for my administrator account only.
A few months ago I created two accounts on my Windows 7 computer: a standard user, who does not have a password to connect, and an admin user, that does not require a password to connect.
The problem is that I forgot the password for the admin user and now I can not upload files to the standard user because he asks me the password of the admin.
What can I do?
You can use the account that Windows created for you when you first loaded Windows. It was created automatically with administrator privileges. Setting up new accounts will not change unless you deliberately downgraded this initial account.

Change password for an Oracle RAC installation account
All,
I'm not an Oracle DBA, but currently I am asked to fill in until a certified Oracle DBA lights. I work with MS SQL Server and have servers managed for some time.
That being said, my question is probably a simple. In the Oracle 11 g RAC 2 installation guide, it tells you * must * use an account that exists on both servers to install. So far, so good, we have a domain dedicated to this purpose and no other account. However, due to a recent change in policy, we must also change the password on this account on a regular basis (annual). My question is, which, if it is, a will this affect on our Oracle RAC database facilities?
If we simply change the password at the domain level, rather than to check the "must change password at next login", is this cause problems with our data?
My inclination is no, we have no problems, because current services 'running' Oracle use the local NETWORK SERVICE account that will not be changed, but confirmation of this would be appreciated.
Environment:
Operating system: Windows Server 2008 R2 SP2
Oracle: 11.2.0.2 and 10.2.0.4
GRID: 11.2.0.2
Thank you
