Keychain Access: change password for Local Items

Hey everybody,

Until a few days ago, I had my OS X connected to my Apple ID login Then I unplugged the two and changed the two passwords.

Now every time that I start to OS X, many things (talagent...) ask my local products Keychain password, which is always set to the password I had before the change. The change password menu item is grayed out, so I have no idea how to change. Needless to say, it's quite annoying having to type the password about 5 - 6 times every time you start Mac OS x.

Does anybody know a solution for this?

Thanks in advance.

Hi MissKillALot,

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. I'm sorry to hear you're having problems with your Mac. If you are prompted several times your login Keychain password after changing your password, you may update or reset your login keychain. • Change password for local administrator on Cisco ISE in distributed deployment

    Hi guys,.

I managed four ISEs of Cisco in a distributed environment.

First ISE is the Admin, second ISE is followed, the third and fourth are the PSN.

We use local authentication. We want to change the password for the admin user name.

-What does that by a lucky break the connection between the ISEs or will be the new password pushed to each of them?

There is no possibility to change the passwords on the PSN as the administration tab is not available.

I know that when I create a new user, he's pushed all ISEs.

    Thank you.

    Serge.

    Serge,

Good question.  Once I read this question, I had to know, so I tried this in my lab.

I changed the admin password and change successfully, I had to connect to ISE using the new password.  Then I noticed on my dashboard to my node communication school admin and my PSN was green.  YAY.  I went to the page of deployments and could access the configurations for the nodes.

Trust, I logged the secondary node using the NEW PASSWORD.  So, Yes, not only communication does NOT break, the new password is pushed down to all nodes.

No, there is no impact of the change to the password of user oracle/root on the equivalence of the user and RAC.

  • How do I access the password for Lightning Manager?

    Hello, all.
I'm trying to connect my lightning calendar to google calendar using CalDav.
I'm following the procedure described in this guide: http://www.technorms.com/7955/sync-google-yahoo-windows-live-calendars-thunderbirds-lightning
I got to a point where I entered my google username and password.
But the calendar does not load.
So I thought that the problem is that I entered my user name for google as "username", not "[email protected]".
Then I tried to change it, I deleted the calendar I made and then tried the process again.
But I had saved the username and the password in "Password manager"

My question is how to access the password manager? And then how to remove this info so it is no longer stored? So, I try again, the process of "[email protected]" instead of "username" when you are prompted for authentication by google's step in the instructions above.

    Thank you!

The URL of the calendar in the article you mentioned is exceeded.
Check this blog and follow the instructions.
    https://blog.Mozilla.org/calendar/2013/09/Google-is-changing-the-location-URL-of-their-CalDAV-calendars/

The lightning is not a separate password manager. Follow these instructions for the removal of the existing passwords.

  • Users cannot change password for 802.1 x and implementation of ISE

    Hi all

We have implemented cisco ISE 1.1 for a week and we notice that Microsoft active directory the user cannot change password there when it expired.

We store all user account in Microsoft active directory for authentication and ISE is mapped with Microsoft active directory. Normally, when your expired password Microsoft active directory ask you to change your password, but in our case cisco switch or 802. 1 x do not allow communication with active directory before giving access to the network. Is this a configuration error or cisco do not support this?

    Best regards.

  • Cannot access the password for administrator on Win7, how can we access this account?

There are two accounts on this computer. An administrative and standard user.

I can't access the administrative account. I forgot the password for this account.
I can access the standard user account, but I can't change the administrative password because his account not administrative and I do not know the password on the admin account.
How can I either change the standard user to admin user without having need of the admin password or how can I access the administrator account?
The admin account is my main account with everything I need.
His family win7 premium is a desktop computer.
I, also, don't have Internet. The only internet I have is on my mobile phone with limited data.
This is why I can't download anything to help.
Help or knowledge is much appreciated.
    Thank you
I can't access the administrative account. I forgot the password for this account.
There are a lot of options built into Windows to help you out of this situation:
    • Restart the computer with your Windows repair CD, then use system restore to set Windows in a few days (only works if you have recently changed the password).
    • Log on to your account admin to spare, and then reset the password for your existing account (works only if you set up an alternative admin account).
    • Log in as administrator mode without failure, then reset the password for your existing account (the password is usually empty).
    • Insert your flash drive USB with the password key file (only works if you have taken the time to create such a key file).
    • Use the password indicator (works only if you have created a hint and if it's good enough to allow you to guess the password)
    • Check your paper files (works only if you threw down the password somewhere)
  • Change password for an Oracle RAC installation account

    All,

I'm not an Oracle DBA, but currently I am asked to fill in until a certified Oracle DBA lights.  I work with MS SQL Server and have servers managed for some time.

That being said, my question is probably a simple.  In the Oracle 11 g RAC 2 installation guide, it tells you * must * use an account that exists on both servers to install.  So far, so good, we have a domain dedicated to this purpose and no other account.  However, due to a recent change in policy, we must also change the password on this account on a regular basis (annual).  My question is, which, if it is, a will this affect on our Oracle RAC database facilities?

If we simply change the password at the domain level, rather than to check the "must change password at next login", is this cause problems with our data?

My inclination is no, we have no problems, because current services 'running' Oracle use the local NETWORK SERVICE account that will not be changed, but confirmation of this would be appreciated.

    Environment:

    Operating system: Windows Server 2008 R2 SP2

    Oracle: 11.2.0.2 and 10.2.0.4

    GRID: 11.2.0.2

    Thank you

    Jason has.

  • Change password for the DN of the user: (MSAD config) Shared Services

We have the MSAD service account to configure shared with MSAD services. E.M.P. version 11.1.2.3

As a policy, we change the password for this account. Since we do not have shared services link works in this version.

    Will work the steps below?

    1. modify the password for the service account in MSAD

    2. connect to the workspace with other admin MSAD (my user id) id

    3. change the password for Shared services configuration MSAD, under "set up user directories.

If this approach does not work, is there another way to do this?

One solution is to change the workspace-> administer-> workspace server

settings-> "allow direct connection after the failure of the SINGLE sign-on:" = Yes

This will allow you to connect without SSO assuming that there are problems with the SSO.

(assuming you can change pw back so you can connect to the workspace).

  • Change password for user "root".

I started watching Orchestrator, and I was asked to change the password for the 'vmware' and another 'administrative account"(don't know what it is) when I clicked on Configuration Orchestrator. I clicked on Configuration of the device several times and I have not been invited to reset the 'root' password, I am still able to connect with "vmware" as password. Is it possible for me to connect to via vCenter Orchestrator console and change the password to root via the command line? Or is it possible to force him to ask me to reset the password for the "root"?

If you are able to connect to the vCO Device Configuration using the root / vmware, he should also be able to connect to the console via vCenter as root. Once logged in, simply type passwd and press on enter, then enter your new root pw.

  • Change password for the application from the apex

    Hi friends,

I created an application of database in the apex, for this application in the login page, that I need to set as

Forget the password link or change the password link, assume that if the end user clicks that link means, there ask for the

    New password: and confirm password

shortly after he entered the password if the user connects to the application of the means, he needs to go inside the application. .........

Normally to reset the password for the end user for the application, we will do it on the side of the administration of apex

It is that we will give RESET PASSWORD OPTION to change the password for the end user...

My question in this sense, that the end user must change his password by itself in the front end application...

It is possible to like that in the application of the apex...

    How friends,

    Kind regards
    Mini...

The problem is that you have specified a different page than the page of connection (due to which your login page used the builtin page). During the passage of the authentication, you must specify that 101 is indeed your login page (disabled by default)

    Here's a screenshot of it.

So, in your workspace, choose current change, choose the authentication name and when you get to this screen tick the checkbox and submit. You should be prompted for your login page (which corresponds to the theme). This should solve the problem.
