Change profile picture in Win 8 PRO

I think it's very difficult to change both profile and lock the screenshots of my account.

BROWSE the button also unable to operate. Thanks for mentioning a solution.

Hello

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

According to the description, I understand that you can not change your profile and lock the screenshots of your account.

I would like to know some information.

  1. What exactly happens when you try to change the pictures?

  2. What do you mean by when you say also unable to operate button BROWSE?

  3. You are logged as administrator?

Try the methods.

Method 1:

I suggest you perform a Scan SFC and check if it helps.

Check the following link below.

https://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/KB/929833

Note: Although SFC analysis I recommend that you ensure that there are no applications or programs running on the background.

Method 2:

Try another user account.

Follow the steps here to create a new user account

  • How can I change my profile picture

    Dear all,

The modern Skype with features of the touch screen looks completely different from the old Skype that we used with Win 7 and earlier versions. For example, in the old Skype, we could go to the Skype button and easily scroll through the options 'change profile photo '. In the new Skype, there is no functionality to do. (That is, as far as I know). If you click on 'My account', it takes you to the Skype Web site. In this way, you can go to "My profile" and then "Edit", but the change has not only any button next to your picture to allow you to change. In short, I don't know what to do.

Help, please. Thank you very much in advance for your attention.

    Hi all

I write the method to change the profile picture for the benefit of those who are still waiting to find out how.

Go to your homepage to Skype by clicking on the small round sticker in the upper right of the page. This will display a larger version of the image. Left click on this photo only once and the screen changes from a windows form that invites you with other photos you own. Choose how you want your new profile picture, and then left click on the button below, called "OPEN". The next screen will be your home screen Skype with the new image.

    Fact.

  • Correct configuration of roaming profiles on a WIN NT Server?

I'm trying to implement roaming profiles with a Windows NT 4.0 Server and a computer Win XP Pro. I created the account via the 'Users for domains Manager' tool, created a share named "Profiles" to the root of the c: / drive and has joint the XP computer to the domain. When I try to open a session, he said that the administrator group or the current user must have ownership of the folder, and that he "cannot find the local profile." I have granted 'Full control' to all groups, including administrators. I am able to log in with the account, but the changes are not saved when that I disconnect. It created a folder with the user name in the sharing, I put in place, but the error persists even when I delete the folder and start from scratch. The server is named "EVANSERVER" and has a local IP address of 10.0.1.37. The XP computer is named 'EVANSERVERWKSTN' and has an IP address of 10.0.1.38. • Install an SSD in an Inspiron 3650 I7 6700 16 GB Ram 2 TB hard drive Amd R9 380 graphic and running Win 7 Pro 64-bit

    Hello:

I have the above referenced PC and want to add an SSD (boot with OS drive).  I would like to make this my c: drive ssd.  I want to keep the Windows 7 operating system.  I made the disarmament recovery disks I opened the PC.  I don't want to win 10.

Could someone with their infinite knowledge teach me throughout the procedure with pictures if possible?  What parts do need me if any?

    Thanks in advance

    Tom

I thought I was doing a 512 GB SSD.  The system came with Win 10 Pro 64 bit installation floppies, but I'm used to and prefer to use Win 7.  The idea of cloning seems interesting.  In fact, it looks to the ticket.  What cloning software is recommended.  The priority of the boot in the BIOS change after cloning?  I am concerned with what type of SSD should I purchase (interface, transfer rate, etc.), what cables, if any, and which adapters will be necessary?

At work, I have all my computers run with SSD (OS/startup) and they run like rockets.  This new computer runs great, but with a SSD for the start, program files, "scratch disks", I'll be in the drive hyper.  I'd be in Mary for a bargain price.

Yet once again, thank you very much for you answer quickly.  I have several Dell optiplex computers in office and did not have a problem.

Thank you once again to Osprey

    Tom
