  Yes, it's a change in Firefox 41, now an extension is needed to define your own new tab page.

  If you are already using Classic theme restaurant, there's an option to set the new tab page. Alternatively, you can use this extension:

  After installing the extension, you must use the Options page to set the new desired tab page (instead of use subject: config).

  Open the page modules using either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a (Mac: Cmd + shift + a)
  • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

  In the left column, click Extensions. Then on the side right, find the new tab override and click the Options button. (See first screenshot attached).

  Depending on the size of your screen, you may need to scroll down to enter the address in the form. (See second screenshot attached). For example:

  • (Default) page thumbnails = > subject: newtab
  • Blank tab = > subject: empty
  • Built-in Firefox homepage = > topic: welcome
  • Any other page = > full URL of the page

  Then tab or click this form field and you can test using Ctrl + t.

  Success?

  Once you have set it as you wish, you can close the Add-ons page (or use the back button to return to the list of Extensions of this Options page).

• CSS refresh after javascript DOM change (tab Ajax control) and also refresh the list of objects of Navigation

  Hi all

  When I access a Web page, that I created in the browser or Widget that uses an ASP.NET Ajax Control Toolkit Tabs the action of switching between tabs works well but the tab header does not reflect the change to display the active tab.

  In a standard browser of the tab header will be change / light tone based on the css classnames active Ajax control for settings changes dynamically in the DOM when switching between tabs and I was wondering if maybe the BB browser will not reflect/refresh css when changes on the client side affect the DOM? If that's the case (?) is there a way to force that change somehow?

  Also in the same direction and on the similar question I posted yesterday on switching between Navigation power user mode in a Widget, so javascript client-side dynamically is change the 'x-blackberry-focus' of a DOM object possible to have the change reflected in the Navigation objects? Or is the list of objects that can be traversed only generated load initial page and cannot change without a new post?

  I solved the problem with the Ajax Control Toolkit TabContainer uisng having to do a "dummy" DOM change in the TabHeader after that the tab is passed between the tabs then forcing the refresh and repaint the tab headers.

  @Lucas, check if you have this on CHANGE_PERSISTENCE web.xml context parameter, if so, remove it.

• Change tabs left to right-tabs without too much trouble?

  I would like to change a lot of tabs in a documented justified tabs left aligned tabs on the right steps to as little as possible. Any thoughts?

  I thought about it. Select all of the text in question. Open the ruler of tabs (tabs of the dialog box). Click the right-aligned tab icon. Then place the right-aligned tab directly on top of the tab in question (in my example above, it would be the second tab).  The left tab turns into a tab on the right and all the text responds. Now move the tab as you want to put it in the right place.

• ViewStack reload children on the change tab

  So I have a viewstack full of different forms and others. I wish that some of the forms to be destroyed and recreated when I tab far and return to them. These forms should be used more than once, and it would take a lot of work to write something that cleans up manually it. Part of the forms are generated dynamicaly keeps me strapping a model directly to it and just clean. There is a great need, I in my application and I want a cleaner/easier way to do. Ideally I want to be able to recharge a child in the stack view when the tab is changed. For some tabs, I'm not, but I could live with it if they have been refilled.

  Now my solution in Flex 3 is to use a charger module or a viewstack with Chargers of module in the form of views. With the viewstack I would just reload the charger module for the tab selected if I wanted to be reloaded. Unforuntely, is more convenient because of a few additions in Flex 4. It apparently was an abuse of the modules since I was referencing modules outside of them without an interface (which I will not write). I've referenced them in their mediators, which, since they are not referenced in the component view, does not get compiled with them.

  So, how can I do this without using the modules?

• Cannot change tab of webhelp

  Since my company is changing some of its product names, I need to change my webhelp accordingly. I changed the name of the project for one of these aid projects, but the label of webhelp tab in help online remains the same.
  
  I used the search function in the Windows Exlorer to find the location of the problem string. I found this in a half dozen generated files in the. SSL! \WebHelp\ folder but not in the source files.
  
  I managed to change the label of the tab by replacing the string in all the files above with FAR. What is the normal way to change the label of the tab?

  By "The tab label" do you mean a tab in IE or FireFox?

  If so, try to click file > project settings and editing the field called "name of the project. Then re - generate and test.

  Go to the components shared > models, and then in the page definition body for each page template 14 of theme with change of tabs (Tabs of level one, two tabs in level with sidebar etc.)

• Application & quot; freezes & quot; on the change tab or accordion

  We have an intranet application with a main tabnavigator, sub tabnavigators and sometimes accordions in those.
  
  But now and then it freezes when you change from one tab to another or one accordion to another and shows not the content of the tab or the browser, but a white - blank screen. And there is no errors generated. Not even with the debug player...
  
  Any ideas what could cause this? I know it is a very imprecise error which could have a thousand reasons, but maybe someone here had the same problem...

  Seemed that our problem was caused by infinite loops. Each tab has a "show" - function. Some of them were called twice thus causing the problem...

  The use of the debugger in Flex is the answer...

  Try to delete the sessionstore.js file and files possible sessionstore-# .js with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox profile folder.
