  Just started using Lightroom for the first time, as a person with a vision less perfect, I would say, the default interface is HORRIBLE. The panels on the left or right in the library, for example, view who thought that the gray on gray would be a good read?

  Can someone point me in the direction of some instructions on the change of the interface text / background colors? Adobe could take a leaf out of the camp of Blender, this interface can be changed easily in the wild and wonderful ways.

  Currently, the option you are looking for is not available in Lightroom.

  However, you can increase or change the font type in the interface settings.

  Open Lightroom

  Click on edit-> preferences-> interface (Windows) Lightroom or -> preferences-> interface (MAC)

  After the removal of a Smart Collection in Lightroom 3.6, the possibility to modify the Collection that was previously in the context menu is a party.  Double-clicking on the name of the Collection will not change either dialog box.  I tried to remove preferences and leaving the Lightroom to create a new, but it does not solve it no more.  Don't know what else to try.

  OK, but are definitely by clicking on a Smart Collection and not the entire Collection called smart Collections?

  If you are clicking on a Smart Collection, could you post a screenshot of the context menu that you don't see?

• Cannot change the photo in Lightroom 2 to 9 items

  I use OS 10.6.5. I have Lightroom 2.7 installed, and I purchased Photoshop Elements 9. I'm trying to change my Lightroom photos in elements by going to the Menu, select Photos, then select them change in, but I'm not able to select one of the options to change in as they appear in gray. I uninstalled and re-installed both programs and that did not help. Any suggestions?   Let me know if you need more information.

  I think LR should automatically detect PS Elements and set up as an external editor, when being installed. However, if there is a problem and it is not automatically set up, you can try and set up manually yourself. Instructions on how to do this are here;

  I had an older version of PS Elements on my system, when I started using LR and LR does not pick it up as an external editor - I guess that's because I have PS CS5 installed, and he who used instead.

  May I ask on Lightroom camera profiles? I can't change the photos of mark IV 5 d in 1DS camera profiles. When I tried to change it, the color saturation is very low, as black and white photos.

  Before I used Adobe DNG Converter & DNG Profile Editor to make my own Canon 1DS camera profiles. The effects of the 1DS the color profiles that surrounds the peoples were adorable. It was a success with 5 d mark III.

  But now, using the new camera 5 d IV. I followed the steps of old, using DNG Profile Editor to open it and then choose Canon 1DS DCP to export. The effects of saturation of color does not become as before. It turns very low over the DNG Profile Editor, when I tried to export a new dcp 1DS file in lightroom, looks still very low color saturation.

  I would ask if anyone has come across such a problem...

  someone already answered my question. The answer is: in the DNG profile editor just add + 1 saturation (any button of saturation), it goes back to normal.

  All my settings affects all pictures and we don't need to re publish all. But when users see this dialog box, they don't understand and re publish all a lot of time.
  It is useless and wasting time.

  I have no idea to avoid the tthat. I wish I could say (as for metadata) what parameters trigger a re publish action.

  The Destination Panel does not appear? Try right click on one of the other names of Panel on the right side of the import dialog box and select Destination.

  Has disappeared? Try file-> open the new item, and then select each illustrated catalog until you find the catalog with your photos.
