  Ok. If it was a browser issue. Things were not visible correctly on Chrome (ver 37) and IE (version 11). I then tried on IE (version 9) and Firefox (ver 32) and it worked!

  Non-administrative users do not have access to the option to change the dashboard, because by default the folder is "read only".

  You must go to the catalog management. Then for the shared folder where this dashboard, click the icon of the authorization (the yellow padlock icon). Give full control access to everyone or the user group that you want to activate the option to change the dashboard.

  Hey everybody! I'm new to Foglight (using 5.6.5), but I was instructed to create a dashboard that will appear on a screen in the office. The dashboard is supposed to be the same as the summary of active hosts, who was created by default, the only difference being that it should only show servers 'Production '. Now, it seems really simple (and probably), but I've been struggling with this project days. I feel like I should just be able to copy summary of active hosts and make a quick change to the context and specify that it should Prod servers and not all servers, but I didn't understand how to do this.

  I was wondering if anyone has any advice on how to go about it? Am I right in assuming that I can just copy the AHS and change some of the settings? What I have to change? I've tried a few things, but to no avail. I hope this isn't a stupid question, I just jumped in the middle of it and trying to learn as I go. If you need additional information or screenshots, let me know. Thanks in advance, it is greatly appreciated!

• How do I move the dashboard to another space?

  I recently got a new iMac, and after the migration from a Time Machine backup, my widgets now have their own space.  On my Mac Pro widgets open in every space, and I want to make it work this way again.  But it is not possible to remove the space from the dashboard (not), and I can't find a way to change the dashboard to work in each space (there is no popup Options that I can see).  I want widgets to pop up on the current screen what he can be, so I can see what's behind the widgets.  For example, if I appear a calculator and see a list of numbers in a document at the same time.  I don't WANT widgets in their own space with just a white background.  How can I do?  Or is - it is no longer possible with El Capitan?

  I'm changing the background image of my dashboard (on a third generation iPad).  Whenever I try to make the change, the data dashobard app breaks down just.  Even if I try to change to a color, the application crashes.  I can insert a picture without problem.  I guess it's just a bug or something but has anyone else seen this problem?

  I was able to reproduce this crash with the following steps:

  -Set up a background image of a page

  -Copy the dashboard somehow. You can reproduce the dashboard, share by email, export and re - import OR clouds, etc.

  -Open the copy of dashboard

  -From the copy, change the background image (for a solid color or another image)

  If you set a background image of a page, close and reopen your dashboard and then try to change the background to something else, you will encounter this error.

  Solution: If you have the original background image in your Camera Roll, you can fall as an image on the same page (Photo Palette, select in the library). Then you can remove this image and change the background also image.

  If you do not have the original image, you may need to start with a new dashboard. (For each page on the old dashboard, you can tap the bottom, select all, copy / paste on another dashboard).

  There is a similar problem with images removed, if you shared the dashboard and you work on a copy. In this case, the solution is to copy and paste the image before deleting. (Otherwise, you'll get a dialog error instead of an accident, but the image is not clear).

  I deposited cars for these issues internally. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  As said, you can't do anything with the HTML, you need to do is to CSS...

  If you've never seen CSS in your life, at least try to have a look online to get a basic idea of what it is and how it works.

  What you are looking for has also little or nothing to do with OBIEE because it's just web development in the end (OBIEE is a web application).

  Your toolbar to the browser developer, inspect a page of dashboard OBIEE and you discover that the white space in the middle where the content is has a class named associate DashboardPageContentDiv, by default there is also a white background color.

  Just change this one...

  Hello
  Based on the permissions granted to the user, it will have access to it. If user is to have total control, then it may have change dashboard, else if the user read only access to the dashboard while he can't have the dashboard option change.

  On the criteria tab, open the properties of the columns and you can then choose the color of your choice.
  Its easier in PivotTable. Refer to the user guide for the dashboard.

  It is defined in sql server datetime data type. Is it possible to change the date format in the swift dash to just '01/07/2008' without doing next database.

  In the fast dashboard, you have the option to select for example to show SQL,.

  you write SQL or SQL advanced logic: select cast ("timestampCOLUMN" as the date) of "PresentationLayerName"
  This is a simple way without changing anything beside SPR...
  And if you want that the timestamp column somewhere in some reports you can directly use this column.
  If you don't want you must typecast as the DATE.

  Hi Andres,

  We can make use of the "conditional display of sections within the dashboard based on the results of the analysis. One option is certainly write different analyses (static text or narrative mode) with your company newspapers and their incorporation in the various sections of their reports in the dashboard. These sections should be displayed conditionally based on the fast one of dashboard. You can create analysis, each read the variable of presentation (associated with the command prompt) and display a record only if you choose a particular company. (Ex: create a business with a single column as @{variables.CompanyPrompt}.) Create a filter on it as "equals 'Oracle'. If this analysis, would post a record only if the presentation variable is set to 'Oracle').

  I would keep you updated if I hit many effective otherwise.
