    Hello

    I fear that it is not currently possible to change the alarm sound on Apple Watch.

    If you want to suggest that Apple considers adding this as a new feature, you can do it here:

    Is there a way to change the startup sound?

    In Windows 7, the real startup sound is built-in and cannot be changed. However, to work around the problem, you can uncheck Play Windows startup sound on the sounds tab and change the sound for the Windows logon event in the list. Tim Baets

  • Is it possible for a Cascade application change the Notification Mode to vibrate at normal

    I am interested in creating a timer application that returns my phone in 'Vibrate only' notification 'Normal' after a period of time defined.  I knshow you need to set permissions, but I didn't know anything like that to give permission to do so.  I have a Z10 with 10.2.1 on it.

    Is this possible or not BB 10.2.1 avoid this?   It would be nice to be able to do.

    A snippet of code showing how to set up permissions for this would be useful.

    You can change the Notification Mode since 10.2, here's what you need to do.

    Add this line to the bottom of the file bar - descriptor.xml, under the tab "source":

    access_notify_settings_control

    Add this line to your .pro file:

    LIBS += -lbbplatform

    Add this to your file:

    #include

    public: Q_INVOKABLE void switchMode();private:
        bb::platform::NotificationGlobalSettings* notificationGlobalSettings;

    Add this to your .cpp file:

    void YourClass::switchMode()
    {
        if (notificationGlobalSettings->mode() == bb::platform::NotificationMode::Normal) {
            notificationGlobalSettings->setMode(bb::platform::NotificationMode::Vibrate);
            break;
        } else if (notificationGlobalSettings->mode() == bb::platform::NotificationMode::Vibrate) {
            notificationGlobalSettings->setMode(bb::platform::NotificationMode::Normal);
            break;
        }
    }

    Simply call switchMode() function in c ++ or QML to switch between the Normal and the vibrator. Note that this code will do nothing if the mode is set to anything else than Normal or vibrate. If you prefer to scroll through all the available Notification mode, use this function:

    void YourClass::switchMode()
    {
        switch (notificationGlobalSettings->mode()) {
            case bb::platform::NotificationMode::Normal : {
                notificationGlobalSettings->setMode(bb::platform::NotificationMode::PhoneOnly);
                break;
            }
            case bb::platform::NotificationMode::PhoneOnly : {
                notificationGlobalSettings->setMode(bb::platform::NotificationMode::Vibrate);
                break;
            }
            case bb::platform::NotificationMode::Vibrate : {
                notificationGlobalSettings->setMode(bb::platform::NotificationMode::Silent);
                break;
            }
            case bb::platform::NotificationMode::Silent : {
                notificationGlobalSettings->setMode(bb::platform::NotificationMode::AlertsOff);
                break;
            }
            case bb::platform::NotificationMode::AlertsOff : {
                notificationGlobalSettings->setMode(bb::platform::NotificationMode::Normal);
                break;
            }
            default : {
                notificationGlobalSettings->setMode(bb::platform::NotificationMode::Normal);
                break;
            }
        }
    }

  • Speakers stopped working after changing the device sound card

    * Original title: switched to hi-speed of dial-up, speakers stopped working / / rev. #2 Can I change the title of: speakers stopped working after changing the device sound card

    I have a Motorola SM56 speakerphone modem, I went from dial-up to the Road Runner.   When I open Device Manager and expand the sound column it lists "High definition Audio Device" (manufacturer of Microsoft), there are 4 that say "NVIDIA High Definition Audio" then there is one that says "Unimodem Half-Duplex Audio Device.  When I open the properties of the Unimodem device it says ' device working properly. "

    Let me start at the top under "General".  It lists the name of the device: Unimodem half-duplex Audio device.    Device type: audio, video and game controllers;    Manufacturer: Microsoft;    Location: Motorola SM56 Speakerphone modem.

    My speakers worked very well before I went.   I tried updating the driver but he came back with "best driver already installed.  It is a desktop PC, it is about 6 years old, but has been revised, graphics card new, updated to power, new 4 GB ram I think.  The hard drive is 1 TB.   I'm running Windows 7 Pro.  I forgot to mention, if I open a WMV file and volume in the taskbar commands, I see the green light moving.  The green light on the actual speakers turned on, just no sound.  It seems to me that the old speakers do not like the new modem from Time Warner. (I'm an old lady, what the devil I know)

    It is a question of another driver, or is it something else?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Are plug you the speakers into the modem?

    They must be connected in making your computer speaker, usually a light green color (read the manual of the machine). Go to control panel / sounds / playback and make sure that the type of speakers you selected as the default device.
    Audio device drivers updated its better to not use MS Update (it is not). Re-post giving your machine make name and exact model number (for example HP, Inspiron, ABC1234 etc.).
    See you soon,.

  • Classic BlackBerry can you change the notification profile shortcut key?

    The 'Q' key changes from Normal to silent profile. Is it possible to put it allows to select another profile?

    HI @derek1012

    At the moment of switching between Normal and silent is supported only by using the Q shortcut.  I will share your comments with our product team for future consideration well.

    The quick settings menu option will scroll as an alternative, you can customize the profiles of school boards.

    To do this, go into settings followed by Notifications. and along the toolbar at the bottom, press quick settings. By default, normal and silent are archived, but you may want to check other profiles. This will allow that you switch between them quickly using the quick set menu by tapping on the Bell icon instead of the text label (tapping the text label opens the Notification settings, while tapping on the Bell icon only happen between the profiles that you have specified).

    I hope this helps!

  • Backflip: Change of the text sound notification.

    I downloaded a few applications that have sound bytes of shows (i.e. South Park) and I would like to make one of these bytes my text notification sound. When I save the byte gives me the option as a ringtone or a notification tone. I suppose that the text would be a notification, so I try to record the value of the byte that my text appear however whenever I get a text it plays the standard bells or whatnot and not my your newly registered app. Thinking it was a problem with one of the many applications that I tried to use it, I tried to change the notification to a sound of such standard phone that surge. Still the same problem.

    How can I change my SMS alert notification to something cooler like SouthPark ManBearPig (haha)?

    Thank you

    Each e-mail option has its own settings. While text messaging, you can select menu and notifications and change the sound for this mail app.

  • No Notification sound when the connection/disconnection of USB device

    Hello

    I am running Windows 7 on a separate partition on a 2011 MacBook Pro (installed via Boot Camp).

    This laptop has two USB ports on the left side.

    If I connect/disconnect a USB device to the port more back, I get the notification sound as usual.

    However, if I log out these same devices to the port further there is no notification even if the devices are recognized & seem to work fine.

    Can anyone tell how to enable notification of this port please?

    John,

    Thank you for your response.

    The sound scheme has already been set to "Windows default", but just for good measure, I changed it but it made no difference.

    As mentioned be notified when you use one of the ports USB, but not the other.

    I posted this in an Apple forum & other users of this machine & installation are reporting the issue even if it seems to be a generic hardware problem & not just something on my own system.

    See you soon.

  • Change the URM notification messages

    WebCenter 11g using content: Records, anyone know how to change the notification messages that are sent to the authors of retention category? I can't find it in the documentation, but I know that there must be a way. Any help would be appreciated.

    What part of the notification that you want to change? The page layout? The text? Something else?

    It won't be just a change of configuration entry in all cases. This is why it is not in the documentation. You will need to write a custom component that replaces the model "rma_notify_authors_email.htm" If you need drastic changes.

    I'll warn you now - be very careful of errant and/or extra white space when you create your model or the substitution of it is included in the model. The mail server that you send the mail by will probably not like him.
