  I just buyed a desktop Pavilion p6216it and im intend to change video card PC. One that comes with the computer is an ATI HD4350 with 512 MB dedicated. I would replace this card with an Nvidia gtx260 896 MB (who need extra power).

  The power supply (PSU) that comes with the PC is a power of 300W and isn't any 6-pin Molex or PCI - X, but only 2 SATA power-free location.

  Now, I think I have 2 choices:

  (1) keep my power supply 300W for the gtx260 and buy an adapter to convert sata pci - x power (but perhaps 300W is not enough)

  (2) buy a new power supply (450W would be nice I think)

  What should I do?
