  I got a Slimline s3020n for a few years and have never had a problem with it. A few days ago when I turned it on there is no picture on the monitor except the box that is displayed when you turn it on and it says: "no signal". I plugged into another computer to the screen to see if the monitor was the problem and it worked fine. I swapped the hard drive thinking that might work, but still had the same problem. All lights turn on and it seems that everything works (hard drive, fans) which leads me to think, maybe it's a problem with the video card. My question is if you have advice on what could be the problem and I think that the video card is integrated into the motherboard, so I have to replace the whole motherboard to fix this. Thank you.

  Your PC has built-in video on the motherboard.  If it is simply a matter of graphic, a low profile card could be added to the system.   However, you can view the following link - depending on when you purchased your product - you may qualify for an extended warranty - the problem, he describes sounds similar to what you mentioned.  I found this on the page of the product of the s3020n, btw.

  I bought a portable Satellite A500 with Vista 32 bit Home Premium.
  It came with an upgrade to Windows 7, which I completed the process of installation/uninstallation of upgrade Vista Home Premium 32 bit for Windows 7 32 bit on the Toshiba site, before the beginning of the DVD of windows 7 installation process.

  After restarting my computer in step 6, I have a message "new hardware found - base system device" I tried to search c: and I tried the Windows 7 DVD for the specific file searching and can't locate it.

  The installation/uninstallation deleted the drivers to connect to the internet.

  Can't seem to start installing Windows 7 from the DVD.

  I assume that you have improved the Vista to Win 7 and installed not cleaning.
  I recommend a clean installation, because Windows 7 would reinstall and will not use the applications that were pre-installed on Vista.

  This question has been around for three years without any company, address. In a common home theater setup, I have my geforce 650 connected to my TV via HDMI, and my TV is used as a relay to my receiver via an optical connection 5.1.

  Now, if I use my Xbox 360 in exactly the same setup, I can simply force the 360 to output 5.1 despite being inherently stereo TV sound. However, Windows (with the geForce card) only detects the audio setup of your TV EDID and allow only native stereo output.

  The fix to play media using a third-party player (think VLC) to manually select audio output; However, this does not have any other way to get audio, such as games or internet streaming.

  A simple option to choose out of I want advanced would be greatly useful in sound options instead of force to choose only a possibly erroneous detection.

  Almost a year ago, I bought a Toshiba Satellite A500-1GH.
  I can't say that I'm not satisfied with the computer or the company.

  The problems I had was the display problem (stops working for seconds) which was the problem of software (updated nVidia 8.16.11.8875) and with the HARD disk that works to stop but the company changed with a new one.

  Now, I wanted to spend the second module of memory from 2 GB to 4 GB so I can have 2 x 4 GB, but when I open the memory compartment, I saw an empty PCI home with JGPS sign beside them.

  Perhaps this connector would be shared by 3G miniPCI card.

  I don't know the part number, but all parts can be ordered from local Toshiba ASP.

  The problem of memory could be responsible for BSOD, but if this BSOD appears only using USB drive then I would recommend testing other external USB HDD.

  You should also try to update the driver from chipset since the chipset USB ports driver controls

  Hey. I have Samsung laptop with video card ATI radeon x 2300 (128 MB) and 4 GB of RAM. I heard that there is a possibility to share some of the RAM of your pc with video card.   I understand that you have installed the driver and it works fine.  When you checked the diagnostics you became confused because it says graphic R5 but you R7.

  According to the specifications of your laptop you have AMD Quad - Core A8 - 6410 APU with graphics Radeon R5 (2 GHz, 2 MB cache).

  1. the backlight turns off automatically after 30 seconds by default during playback of a video file.
